If you could bait them every time, then it would be a pushover. It just upsets me that half of em give you oki. But seriously, why is it a rule to have all reversal DD's be absolutely terrible when compared to a lot of meterless dps.

Also, I'm salty. Dont take everything I say -too- seriously that I think youre a scrub if you dp, Its just annoying to me xD

Giant move hitbox, the character using it has no hurtbox.

Pretty much. You could stuff wake up DPs with a good meaty. They were mostly used as anti-airs. Which is why jumping was rare in high level play unless it was Claw (tha gawd) doing it.

Azrael is a character with a plethora of defensive options.

What does he do on wakeup?

5A.

It wins every time.

When someone knows a character's game plan... but does these kiddy combos that do like 2k damage. If you're gonna play pro, at least look like it xP. Especially when you play hakumen of all people, who can do 6k damage in 5 hits xP

That move is godlike, and you can get a free combo off it in Gain Art. (Or make it safe, which is also very frustrating)

When someone knows a character's game plan... but does these kiddy combos that do like 2k damage. If you're gonna play pro, at least look like it xP. Especially when you play hakumen of all people, who can do 6k damage in 5 hits xP

It's just another 50/50 situation if they DP or not when you think about it.

 

Right, but it's a 50/50 situation on my Oki not theirs. To think that I should block or Twirl 50% of the time on the opponent's wake-up seems ludicrous to me.

 

MAYBE I'd reconsider if Fatals all had "long" combo time or something. That's something I always thought they should have put in. "normal combos" go for 8 seconds max, so "Fatal hit combos" should go for 12 seconds, then we could see some crazy awesome EX style punishes. As of right now I laugh at the fact that Relius' 3C is a better punish in every way shape and form than any of his Fatals.

 

(If they ever do add this idea they better remove the Fatal from Noels 4D tho, or there will be no end to the salt.)

I really don't like the shortened combos either. Kinda makes the game seem easier, damn near flow chart.

Maybe execution isn't their strong suit?

If they have insane reads but only do 2k damage, that's not a problem really.

Sure some can just go nuts in OD and get stupidly large damage, but honestly winning neutral is way more important than any combos.

And yeah, I feel if 6C didn't have SMP it'd be a worthwhile fatal punish. Loops in to 3C oki for 3.8k? Yes

But you play Nu, right? I mean, she's got big damage combos and small damage combos. Hakumen is like anything save A starters or throws (yes I know there's more than these two). But he would get like j.2C or 5C CHs and would just do 236B>6C as his whole combo.

Can someone fire sony from their job of providing good online gameplay? Cuz they're not doing their job for shit.

I downloaded BB 8 times and it never worked lol. A nice friend bought me a retail version.
