Your pet-peeves netplaying.

1: People who turn every match into a combo exhibition video. I wish combos were toned done some. It's just annoying to eat a 80% health combo just because they hit you once (P4U shadows are really aggravating for this... Chie). Thing is, every good player worth their street cred will be able to do this... lol.

2: Trolling high reaction players. I fight people who would literally grab and air grab with perfection for entire fights, I teched a few... but damn that was a annoying "Get out of my face scrub." bitchslap I've seen. Almost rage quit those matches, and they used heart emoticons after the match too. Urggh... if you're so good, fight for real and say you want to fight someone else afterwards... geez.

If I'm playing someone way below me in skill I tend to pick one or two things and just roll with it to give them something to train against.

That sounds like Fighting Game 101 to me. If they can't stop it, abuse the living hell out of it until they can.

Spoiler: these "dishonest" (see: technical) characters will be the ones blowing you up at tournaments if you keep this mindset, so you better sit down, shut up, and learn to deal. People who use these characters put in the same amount of time and effort into the game as you do.

 

Sorry I don't want to play low/throw/DP all day long. Blazblue is amazing because of its ridiculously diverse cast. Anyone who would want to remove or condemn variety is a moron.

But online player match matters less than both offline and online ranked. They make you pre pick your character in ranked, and offline... well its whatever there, depends who you play with.

5A anti-airs in general are rage inducing.  Pretty much every other anti-air in the game is designed so that you have to commit to it in some way - holding down or forward - but no, characters with 5A anti-airs don't even really need to time them, especially when they hit in an absurd arc in front of them. Die. Azrael, die.  Another example of a character who has tools that way exceed what he needs to do his job, and then people wonder why he's top tier...

I agree even though I use them. I only get on mic if there is somebody to talk to, I can't stand it when people get on mic without anybodyelse and just talk to themselves.

Also, If I recall, I have used Valiant right as Led Ley ended and got ya before lol or just grabbed you, which I finally learned some combos off my throw, no more Throw-Valiant. I need to fite you again sometime, but I rarely see you on BBCP. I see you on Ultimax a lot though, so maybe I should just start looking for you there.

Anyways....

Let me add a new pet peeve of my own!

I am seriously beginning to hate doing TCL online. If it gets laggy for some reason the third hit come out too slow and people always have thier fingers on the blocking direction, leading to a big damage punish combo right into my face. That and I'm starting to give up on doing 5B-TCL-5A/5B-2C-5B-Aerial after landing a good Sentinel Dump and just go for 5B-Aerial or 5B-TC-Valiant, it's just hard to due sometime if it gets laggy. Either, it will be so easy easy to mis-time the 5B, leading to the third hit of TCL wiffing, or the 5A/5B won't combo into 2C.

I actually recall having a lot of trouble against the character playing as Bullet. He's pretty deceptive if you don't know what he does tbh lol. I actually haven't played a lot of Haku/Amane surprisingly.
