churchblue Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 The current Saya, Hades Izanami, is Naoto's sister. If Naoto and Hades every found, there will more than a giant crater. I think Naoto is technically Ragna's, Jin's and Noel's real dad. I also hope there will be a subbed trailer of this.

Well, we really don't have much information about XBLAZE's timeline outside the games and the Bloodedge Experience novels. For what we know, they could just be counterparts to BLAZBLUE's versions of the characters. What I'm curious about though is the dialogue of Rachel at the beginning of the trailer: "I sought the Azure yet I did not do so to grant any wish of mine." By this, I'm guessing Raquel Alucard's gonna make an appearance in the game. Well, no matter. After all, it only took like a month or two for Chronophantasma information to get released. We'll be fine.

Bloodedge Experience takes place in October which is Rachel's birth month. We've never so much as heard about Rachel having a sister so speculation assumes that Raquel somehow becomes Rachel or something along those lines.

To be fair, most stuff in the spinoffs has no foreshadowing whatsoever until the spinoff itself happens (other than Phase Shift series). I mean, Mai and Kajun were bffs to the Academy Trio but their existence was nothing up until CP after RH actually became a thing. Whether or not Raquel is a presence to be concerned about nobody has any idea, but her not being mentioned is in line with all the other spinoff cast (which makes things obnoxious for people who only have access to the games).

Unless they do something with her in the next Xblaze i'd say she appears here, if she doesn't then it's later.

More than likely trying to defend Ragna. I did the same thing and i ended up looking at the mirror it zooms in on after it quickly shows other CG stills. I wonder who is in the mirror? I have one guess and it doesn't fit what i'm seeing 100%.

I can tell from the black as a few white sprinkled around. It's his head and he's facing someone to the left. You can even tell it's him by the Katakana that spell out Su-Sa-No A.K.A Sankishin Unit Susano-O. A curious thought came to my mind: if there IS going to be a showdown between people that want Ragna dead and those that want to help him, it would be a perfect chance to see just where Izanami's thoughts lie on the matter. Obviously, being a Goddess of Death dedicated to, effectively, doing her job she has her priorities straight. However, she herself admitted that since her body once belonged to Saya she's still influenced by it (like her disdain for Hazama and willingly offering Ragna the chance to join her). So I am most curious as to see her reaction here.

DeathTurn Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Naoto: "Search for myself?" Where do I begin... Assuming Naoto = Ragna as per popular theory, is Naoto searching for Ragna as well? The fact he even exists at this point all but affirms he is either time displaced or a Chronophantasma. Seeing as though his life support, Raquel, is effectively nonexistent (unless she is Rachel, whose lifeforce value is now 0) - I doubt he makes it through the novels in one piece, especially with the grim foreshadowing with Rachel in novel 1. He also seems determined to expunge the Murakumo Units, which seems to insinuate his relationship with Kiiro will deterioate by the end of The Bloodedge Experience. Really excited he is playable. He always felt too important to me to remain restricted to the novels.

cr1ms0n Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 I just noticed...did anyone see the mark on Naoto's chest? He didn't have that at all during Bloodedge Experience! Not to mention it looks very similar to Ragna's mark, with the only difference being the text is below the mark, not above.
