Luminos564 Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Now seriously, Nine is a sure character and she's apparently the final boss Arcade Mode, for whatever reason. Not all that surprising. She IS the one talking to Ragna in that teaser trailer and asking him what sort of world he wishes for (or alternatively, what he wants from it). Every vibe felt like she was the penultimate boss. She even alludes that Izanami being defeated is inevitable during her speech but also claims that doing so it utterly pointless since there's something bigger than even her. Which is why currently, I think perhaps Nine has been the orchestrator of this whole mess while Izanami is more her "tool" than the other way around. Or perhaps Nine is simply Izanami's "physical will" made manifest for combat while Izanami herself does something else...
Chaoschao222 Posted July 16, 2015 Author Posted July 16, 2015 Any x should be playable/I hope y is playable/z is gonna play like posts that happen during EVO will get minor warnings. I won't have access to no-fun bot, so punishment is the alternative folks to not listening to rules.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 So, since we're confirmed going back to Kagutsuchi and that events are repeating themselves, something tells me this is Ragna trying to undo all of the shit that led to the current point. So that CG of him and Nu is probably from CT's true ending and instead of letting her fall into the cauldron after Noel saves him, Ragna saves Nu as well.

I saw some Japanese people speculating that it's not the real Kagutsuchi but a fake one created by the embryo.

BlackYakuzu94 Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 I saw some Japanese people speculating that it's not the real Kagutsuchi but a fake one created by the embryo. Hmm, so an Embryo induced illusion? That's also a possibility, but it'd probably only effect Ragna then. That would fit with CP's ending where Ragna asks Nu wants to be saved. I mean, Nu kinda went apeshit when he did it the first time, I doubt Ragna is gonna budge on this.
kylehyde Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 From the subtitles in the trailer Ragna does appear to be trying to rescue someone. "Even without my memories, I am Me and I will save you." Something to that extent. And I do find it odd that Noel says that she's hunting the Grim Reaper, why would she say that? Unless she forgot who Ragna is and it may be as you said, their back in Kagutsuchi before the whole fiasco started all over again. Although I don't think Ragna is trying to save Nu this time around, he tried in CP and failed miserably because he jumped the gun and believed that Nu was the girl in the story. I think he's trying to save Saya in Centralfiction.

00Bubbles00 Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 The "rebellion" that Noel was talking about is probably referring to Kagura trying to take over the NOL and become the new government. By the end of CP, I got the impression that Hazama and Imperator still held power over the NOL.
VermilionBird Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Nope. Homura is the Imperator now, Izanami declared it herself, and Hibiki's report at the end of CP detailed how Homura was managing to keep the NOL together despite the difficult times.
kylehyde Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Then what is this? Besides Ragna does have amnesia anyways so he wouldn't know anything about past mistakes and such. That's actually the first time I've seen that picture, and I don't know the context of what is going on there so I don't know what that is. But hey if Ragna saves Nu that's even better, I don't want Nu to be discarded or turned into nothing but a villain.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 I speculated it's a revised CT ending Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Oh yeah, forgot about that. Maybe the rebellion has to do with Hibiki and the menacing look he had on one of the CF screenshots. I assume he has a bigger role now than just being Kagura's servant.
Zedar90 Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 In famitsu it was talking about a world were past phenomena were being looped, so that line from Noel is probably from a recreation of a scene from CS.
Fangs Of Despair Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Then what is this? Besides Ragna does have amnesia anyways so he wouldn't know anything about past mistakes and such. I find this image very heart warming . O . I hope Nu will be saved somehow :\
BlackYakuzu94 Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Don't worry, Ragna will save all his imoutos. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
kylehyde Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 I'm using my iPad so I didn't notice till I zoomed in that Nu is crying in that pic.
raziel12 Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 also makes you wonder does Nato have a connection to the black beast Blood Beast ''Blood Spike''
VermilionBird Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Doubtful. Looks to be more of a reference to the Bloodedge similarity between him and Ragna, so he gets a Distortion Dead Spike.
Shinhwa Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Then what is this? Besides Ragna does have amnesia anyways so he wouldn't know anything about past mistakes and such. That is like, the scene which all Ragna x Nu fans have all been waiting for <3 OHHHH YESSS
heavymetalmixer Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 That is like, the scene which all Ragna x Nu fans have all been waiting for <3 OHHHH YESSS Just hope Naoto doesn't come near or there will be a hell of a fight.
Luminos564 Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 That is like, the scene which all Ragna x Nu fans have all been waiting for <3 OHHHH YESSS Followed by Nu-13 stabbing him in the gut...again. Because Ragna was stupid enough to extend a helping hand to her...again. Because we can't have a Blazblue game where Ragna isn't being used as a pincushion for someone's bladed objects...again. Alright alright fine, I am joking here. Ragna seems to have picked up a need to rescue young ladies of late and the man is nothing if not stubborn in his pursuits. He saved Noel, left arm be damned. His visage alone is enough motivation for Lamb-chops to start bringing herself back from the dead. So that only really leaves Nu-13. Though I have to wonder what that will ultimately accomplish because you all know as well as I that rescuing someone in games/anime is rarely depicted for its own sake. It almost always results in some kind of power-up or being the ultimate key to finish an objective. My theory? I believe Ragna with his 3 (or 4 if you wanna count Izanami/Saya) sisters will be the key to stopping whatever the Hell is waiting for everyone after Izanami's defeat which Nine foreshadowed.
Shinhwa Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 Just hope Naoto doesn't come near or there will be a hell of a fight. That would totally ruin the mood D:

This still brings up the question if this is the route to getting a successful result of fusion between Ragna and Nu which failed all the time back in CT.
Luminos564 Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 This still brings up the question if this is the route to getting a successful result of fusion between Ragna and Nu which failed all the time back in CT. I wonder. Hazama/Terumi gave us the insight that the Black Beast is a failed Kusanagi. Now, Noel is the TRUE Kusanagi Murakumo and the only successful one but she did not need to merge with him in order to achieve that power. However, little miss Nu-13 revealed that originally Hazama/Terumi WANTED to turn into a Black Beast himself, despite having spent the entirety of Continuum Shift deriding the Black Beast's existence as a catastrophic failure for him. So what's the true purpose here? What changed? Right now we have a 1 successful Kusanagi (Noel) and a potential dud (Ragna and Nu-13) with mystery cards Lamb-chops and Naoto in the wait. And Naoto has a suspiciously similar emblem on him like Ragna does. I can only surmise that they are interconnected somehow.
