Luminos564 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 (edited) If this "Evil" within Ragna turns out to be nothing more than a twisted Sechs from XBlaze I swear I am going to punch a baby seal. Oh who am I kidding? Mori probably introduced Sechs and had Sugita voice him just for this purpose. And we do have XBlaze finally making its connection (excluding the weapons) to BB now that we know both Tenjou and his son Homura are descendants of Mei Amanohokosaka. I think it's safe to say that nothing could ever be as bad as what happens to Ragna at this point. Relius. For a guy that's been hyped so much and looked like he posed a very real threat to the heroes he got such a massive turd sandwich. Abandoned by both Izanami and Phantom, his whole work gone down the drain, he's now made to serve Carl and Litchi. When villains fall in BB, they fall down HARD. Edited October 29, 2013 by Luminos564
Master Of Chaos Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Yeah but the difference between them is that Relius pretty much brought it on himself and got what was coming to him. Ragna just gets shit on day after day after day after day...I'm surprised he hasn't killed himself from the sheer amount of bullshit he has to put up with.

Sorry never played XBlaze.

Ah but then he wouldn't be Ragna then would he? The man tends to keep getting up no matter how bad the situation. You can blame Rachel for that with her "Never give up" and him keeping that very promise. Talk about an admirable force of willpower, even if his actual powers are not up to snuff story-wise with say a 100% Haku-men. This asshole. That's the one. And what an fitting summary of just what he is (not joking). Edited October 29, 2013 by Luminos564
kylehyde Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 No shit, that guy looks just like Ragna. I wouldn't be surprised if he's inside him somehow. Hoping he could be the final boss lol
Zedar90 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Really the worst he does, is just swear. He even looks like Ragna.....hell those blades even look like the Bloodscythe. Only a note about those sword, they are called Jigen Houken(示現崩剣) Kusanagi and are part of the Legacy Weapon series. They are extremely powerful, makes the user immune to Phenomenon Intervention as well as every time the world is reset the user grows stronger.

So theoretically if he was inside Ragna, and given all the loops that have transpired, he would be insanely strong.

Chaoschao222 Posted October 29, 2013 Author Posted October 29, 2013 Are you asking if Kusanagi is Bloodscythe?
Starlight777 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Yeah but the difference between them is that Relius pretty much brought it on himself and got what was coming to him. Ragna just gets shit on day after day after day after day...I'm surprised he hasn't killed himself from the sheer amount of bullshit he has to put up with. Ragna has been getting shit on and beaten from childhood. What happened to Relius was just one bad day compared to the years of BS Ragna received and that's not counting the CT time loops.

So theoretically if he was inside Ragna, and given all the loops that have transpired, he would be insanely strong. I think we just figured out the entire plot of BB4: Crisis Quantum. The Evil turns out is Sechs, who's been pretty beefed up since the BB world was reset something like 724 times before. Jin, ever the clumsiest, fails to kill Ragna and Sechs goes free. He'll just go around curbstomping everyone, including an unsealed Azrael (we have to see him fully cut loose at SOME point dammit) and 100% Haku-men. Question is, how would Izanami deal with this. I kind of doubt she and Sechs are in cahoots with one another considering who Phantom (Nine) is. Edited October 29, 2013 by Luminos564
BlackYakuzu94 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Are you asking if Kusanagi is Bloodscythe? Hey, its not the stupidest thing to happen in this story. And its not like Ragna's jacket or sword have a point of origin anyway.
arctus32 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Wasn't it also stated that there was a reason why Sechs and Ragna were voiced by the same VA (Tomokazu Sugita)?
harmless kitten Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Wasn't it also stated that there was a reason why Sechs and Ragna were voiced by the same VA (Tomokazu Sugita)? Yes, every character in XB that shares a voice actor with someone in BB has a connection to them. Except Isomura.
Luminos564 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Yes, every character in XB that shares a voice actor with someone in BB has a connection to them. Except Isomura. Well so far that is true for at least 2 other characters. Mei's seiyuu (Minase Inori) is the same for Homura, who is her descendant. Ringo's seiyuu (Matsura Chie) is the same as Kokokoe. Ringo true name is revealed to be Marcelyn F. Mercury and Zwei of the Ten Saints meaning she's got some connection to Nine as well. So should this claim be genuine, then Sechs is definitely connected to Ragna in some form. He could be anything from a clone to a reincarnation.
Chaoschao222 Posted October 29, 2013 Author Posted October 29, 2013 Flat-out stupid posts will be deleted and their posters infracted. Do not fuck this up again. This is still a thing, btw. Posts have gotten pretty close to this line while remaining loosely relevant to the plot; but some have just been stupid and have nothing to do with the story. The last thing anyone wants is there only being the no-fun allowed Discussion thread up.
TPPR10 Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 So I think that one of people who might get affected by Embryo is Arakune. His connection to Boundary and what he is allows him to fight lke normally without being "Worthy One", but the same thing causes him being slowly consumed by Embryo
heavymetalmixer Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 Maybe the promise Rachel made with Tsubaki, is bacause the "evil" inside of Ragna could get out and try to control Rachel, and of course, the Tsukyomi Unit.
Kibafool Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 I'm going to say its a time loop, Ragna left his coat and sword in the past, so naturally he'd go pick them from the remains of the Church I assume, since they would technically still there.....I think. He already got them from the church in this timeline when he finished his training. -But why was she in a tube with green liquid?. There is any explanation about why Kokonoe can do something like that ( brought her to the future)?. -But if he gives the jacket and sword to Celica, how come he has the jacket and sword again after he comes back from the past?, I mean, he comes with nothing, but in the next episodes he wears the jacket/sword again. thanks for the answers. -Gravity Magic seems to be able to affect time. The tube was probably for stabilization reasons. -I assumed Kokonoe just gave him a copy of his sword and a new jacket, I noticed how he suddenly had them again.
LarsMasters Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Speaking of Izanami, i wonder if Blazblue & Persona gets a crossover soon (but canon to both series) after Guilty Gear Xrd & Persona 4 Arena Suplex console release. We'll see if the Izanami from Blazblue is the same one from Persona verse. Only thing i could able compare between both version of Izanamis are their red eyes of evil.
Luminos564 Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 Not happening. The Izanami in P4 is an entirely different entity to the BB Izanami, with completely different goals in mind. They may share the same name, but that's what happens when you draw out your names from the same mythological sources. And to my knowledge, Mori has repeatedly denied crossovers between ASW series. A shame I must admit, since I'd love to see something like that but I understand it nonetheless.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 ITs kinda hilarious how they're actions are sorta similar: Izanami using the two supposed villains as pawns before revealing herself as Big Bad.
raziel12 Posted October 31, 2013 Posted October 31, 2013 yea but i get the feeling that Izanami is also a pawn that think she in control of everything and that will lead her to her undoing idk why but i just get the feeling someone or something just watching how things unfold untill they decide to make a apperance Izanami messing with things that might be out of her control when the time comes
