You doubting Makoto? Relius isn't a moron. He ain't immortal and she's not restrained like everyone else. The hamster ball is clearly meant to be humorous. Otherwise, she'd get the BDSM treatment like everyone else.

Shit, if that hamster ball can roll, he's fucked and you know it. She would turn that thing into the boulder from the Indiana Jones movies.

That's why he's got a magic circle immobilizing it. The circle shows up in Hazama's and Tsubaki's too I think.

Is there a good number of folks from the US playing online and if so how is the netcode?

My bad if this the wrong thread but I'm trying to figure out if it's worth getting the game.

I've played with 4 and 3 connection players. Netcode works nice in those conditions. There are some lag peaks, but I think that's due to my lol wireless connection (can't go wired in my case).

You'd be surprised how many americas and canadians were playing this game from day 1. Also from my experience from Monday til today I've only had one laggy match and even that match stabilize during the first round.(way bettter then bb extend)

No, ASW cops would kill it on youtube. There is ALWAYS a way to download something from the web.

Very possible color 24 is a placeholder color and not meant to be released.

I don't want to page through the whole thread; how are people playing as Kokonoe this early? I'm guessing she's already on the disc and someone enabled her through hacking.

I wish they could have just made her a time-release character unlocked with a free patch, but Arc couldn't pass up the opportunity to milk everyone who's been begging for her inclusion since CT (including myself...).

The graviton also tracks enemy position, specifically 6D. You can do like 6[A] > JC > j.b > jc > j.b > j.c (which blows them back) > 6d (will track them and put it way across the screen) > 236d

Man, what's with all the homogeneity?

I've never liked that everyone just has the same scheme throughout, with the only significant colors being references .v.

then again, with manga shading gone (THAT'S something I'd pay for), there's no reason for me to bother with alternate colors...

Citronette streamed Koko lab again. Was able to test a lot of stuff for me. http://www.twitch.tv/citronette/b/475144468

j.BB and 2BB dont exist. j.B and 2B are just two hit normals.

From a CH 5C midscreen she can land a 5k combo meterless. Doesn't require any graviton to be active before the hit. It reaches a couple characters at match start against their idle animation.

Black hole DD has invul startup and is unblockable (tested even on opponent in blockstun and still hit). Can dash combo followup for ~3.5k average.

Fireball DD doesn't look to have invul sadly.

Her astral has shitty range, looks like 5A max range even though her sprite is farther than the hitbox.

2A, 2B, 3C are her lows.

6B, j.B, j.C, and j.2C are overheads.

5A, 5B, 5C, 6A, 6C (of course but cant air dash after it) are jump cancelable on block. So none of her lows.

5B, 6A, 2B, 2C, 5C, and 3C are air unblockable.

2C, 6C, and j.2C are fatals.

6A for the best AA for her, 5B also looks to be decent.

uncharged 6A causes float on air hit.

Graviton is special cancelable.

Overdrive increases graviton damage from 500 to 750.

On some characters (like Haku) you can loop 3C for about 3-5 hits after 5BC > 6D, but shortening it to just two loops leads to a better combo ender.

You can rc the ice gun before the gatling to keep the opponent frozen.

The second to last color of the current DLC pack (21?) , may be the horrific combination of color i've ever seen and will ever see. Personally, i think 23/24 colors are the best DLC ones so far. You go the dark, GunGrave-ish color scheme for #23, and a neon, 80's style colors for #24. They remind me of those random ninja turtle toys of characters no ones ever heard of:

Also i got a chance to play around a little bit at my friends house yesterday. I haven't experienced Rapids instead of ODs yet. I assume that as long as you do them only after moves that are special cancelable, you wont have a problem with this. Ragna's D inferno divider on the other hand was a different story, lol. It's gonna take some time getting used to ending DP's on 3. The only other problem i have with the game is the new sound effects. I really hope they release the old stages as DLC too.
