Guess I need to step up my game at some point. Yeah no problem. Uhh you should try blocking a lot more. Like on wakeup and during your opponent's blockstrings. The lagginess helped you mash out of combos and blockstrings a lot, but offline and in stable connections (given a good opponent of course) that will get you blown up relentlessly. You shouldn't have been getting hit by my safejump every single time (I know sometimes you were trying to 236236D, but even that can get punished). Sometimes you just gotta block until your opponent ends pressure or tries to throw you (which should happen a lot against Hakumen).

Usually I get a lot more "magnetism not working as advertized." Also, I don't think I've TRMed that much in the ENTIRE REST OF MY BB "career" COMBINED. Yeah; You're a little bit too respectful for Tager, IMHO; I do a lot of stuff that I probably shouldn't be getting away with. And a few of the TRMs that hit ME were "I shall air throw him now!" <whiffs air throw, lands, gets ground thrown..while in TRM state>.

Arakune is a very frustrating character. Curse is a FUN and INTERACTIVE mechanic. GGs, by the way. Your taunting will not stop me from attempting to play Street Fighter poorly.

Yea it was at that moment i realized i could taunt tager and get away with it.GGs to watching henjin get blown up by more curse pressure~ Hes like an arakune magnet - its kinda funny I was gonna disband the room and cry when that first kune guy didnt even try to bait any of my bursts. He just sat there and watched his bugs attack me. And i think they should nerf the timing on those bugs on wake up. Already swarming with those things before he even lands on his feet from ukemi.
Myoro Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I usually treat Oki against an Arakune with curse as "Okay how can I best run his curse gauge" which often leads me to one of four things. A: putting myself 75% of the screen away and attempting locking down/interfering with an Ignis. This makes it so he can't simply Teleport in by air backdashing off the screen then locking me down because both of his air backdashes won't reach the end of the screen. and it also means that he has to try to approach me like the slug he is and waste curse all the while. B: going traditional and trying to mix him up in the hopes he doesn't punish it with bugs. C: Reset him. He can have his curse mode in the afterlife. or D: Using Duo Bios and not giving a crap. No amount of bugs will save you from a wife's scorn. With hazama I'd try to find a location to bully him from where his bugs can't find me.
