LunaKage Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF Oh well, I can deal with it.
dualseeker Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF Oh well, I can deal with it. What do you mean "Deal with it" ? Just kidding, lol. Still though, as long as you're in the US, I've rarely had connection problems with people.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 (edited) GGs to everyone in Yakuzu's room. Shoutouts to Optic Barrel. Shoutouts to Optic Barrel. Shoutouts to Optic Barrel. Shoutouts to Optic Barrel. Shoutouts to Optic Barrel. Shoutouts to Tager vs Optic Barrel. Shoutouts to Tager realizing he could use Sledge to defeat Optic Barrel. Shoutouts to Optic Barrel. Definitely one of the funniest rooms I've been in. The funny part is that it wasn't even the superior B version he was using. Yea, GG's to everyone, except me of course. I played like ass today. Feelsbadman.jpeg Special mention goes to that Ayane who just straight up bodied everyone for like an hour. Edited January 8, 2014 by BlackYakuzu94

GG's everyone in Yakuzu's room and yes that Noel player was awesome, definitely learned some stuff while watching lol. Man, i need to hit training mode and get in some more fights but not tonight, I'm tired.
Star-Demon Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 (edited) Can I play someone I know like, please? I'm just...so fucking tired of playing this game like this. Wow. I really cannot stop being mad. Edited January 8, 2014 by Star-Demon
Surf Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Can I play someone I know like, please? I'm just...so fucking tired of playing this game like this. Wow. I really cannot stop being mad. Your mad yet you still want to do a set with someone. Either get off the goddamn game or go into training mode. Your a broken record. Your playing the exact same way you've been playing since a year ago. The hell have you been doing all this time
Star-Demon Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 (edited) I do training mode nearly every time I turn the game on, where have YOU been? You want to start an argument with me about this? You're wrong. That's a fact, and has been a fact for quite some time. Get some new information. EDIT: Yes, I'm mad and still want to do a set with someone. I think it'd much better to have a set with somebody I know than randoms. I'm fucking tired of 0Bar randoms all day. I'm tired of random stupid netplay shit. I'm tired of infectious stupid netplay habits. This game has become something worse than extend was. It's actually boring in addition to frustrating. I played Jiyuna just fine this week. It's actually fun and interesting. I know he doesn't even like me, but we had GGs. I haven't played even a handful of the regulars in PSN I remember from Extend. There are people I want to play but just don't get to. It's frustrating and angering because I think you're either avoiding playing me or out schedules just never line up or they've just moved on entirely. I'm mad that I haven't been able to set up matches with anyone here for months. I want sets with TD again. Sets with Moy and LK and others. I haven't had some of those in over a year. I want to play "real" games with some real structure to them. I'm tired of random netplay shit featuring netplay shenanigans. There's you're fucking explanation. Now go cry to a moderator and infract me or shut up and play me in the goddamn game. Edited January 8, 2014 by Star-Demon
susano Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 I do training mode nearly every time I turn the game on, where have YOU been? You want to start an argument with me about this? Take a break Star. I just got off to take a break myself. When I'm ready I'll come back on refreshed and ready to learn/play/have fun again.
Zeromus_X Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 GGs to Swagna5B. Until the Fire Nation attacked Netplay struck at least.
BloodWolF Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 I know that, since coming back from a couple weeks off during the holidays, I felt I was being absolutely destroyed. I didn't have a plan during the match and hesitated a lot. A week later, I feel like I'm just now starting to get back into it. I understand the frustration of playing online against random people, however if you're feeling put off enough to vent to this degree on the forums, I suggest you take a break. There may be a few of the people you're wishing to play that just wanted to wait until the American release. I suggest walking away for a little bit. Edit: Spacing for legibility.
Star-Demon Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Take a break Star. I just got off to take a break myself. When I'm ready I'll come back on refreshed and ready to learn/play/have fun again. Do you think a break won't erode my progress on timing and skills?
BloodWolF Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 It will when you first return, but it will come back soon. I find that I also approach matches differently after a break and it helps get out of a rut of sorts when it comes to situational choices.
Star-Demon Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Well, I just kinda came off a break - there are people that say I should be playing more. Now I have to decide who's right between the two. Should I: 1: Take another break, of which I have no idea what to do with that time and energy. 2: Just go in harder. I still think if I could arrange some real matches that'd be much better.
Surf Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 I want to play "real" games with some real structure to them. I'm tired of random netplay shit featuring netplay shenanigans. Man I tried to play some "real" games with you about a week ago but you just sat there for most of the rounds and eventually stopped after like 4 matches. So no I'm not going to play you. Playing you doesn't do anything for either of us. If I hadn't posted something for you to reply to this odds are everyone would have either not posted for awhile to avoid the awkwardness or just ignore you. At least I said something. If your tired of 0 bar randoms then stop playing the shits. If you dont agree to play them then you'll never play them. If a match is too laggy then just get the hell off. Your in new york, you should have 2-3 bars with a good number of people on EC. I honestly think people just don't want to play you because of your attitude. It's stupid to continue playing or asking for a set when your as pissed as you are. Netplay will always have bullshit because of all the dumbass people in it. Just take a damn break or find a new hobby. Because the people aren't going to change. But if you choose to keep playing then find whats wrong with your play. Watch replays and figure out what your not doing
susano Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Do you think a break won't erode my progress on timing and skills? When I take a break and come back, I'm much calmer. I land combos a lot better and I do much better overall. Until I feel strong enough to fight really good players, I need to play people on my own level. I intend to do that and improve from there.
BloodWolF Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 I can agree with a lot of what is being said here. 1. Attitude brings a lot to the table. If I see someone making excuses when they lose, being an ass when they win, or just detrimental to what I think the community is about, I ignore the person regardless of skill. 2. The people on here won't change, so the best you can do it avoid the ones that you dislike being around because.. 3. It's a game. If you aren't enjoying it, you don't need to be playing it. If you're one of those guys that just has to be "da bes" so you can have your outlet, I hope you can enjoy the road to the top because you're wasting your time otherwise. GGs to everyone I played today. I had some really good matches and feel that I'm slowly getting back into the swing of things. I hope everyone is staying warm to a degree.
BlackYakuzu94 Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 There's really no reason to keep an attitude at this game, because as said, its a game. If you're frustrated, drink some water and chill the hell out. You won't play well if you're salty, and nobody will play you because you're salty. If you still feel you aren't playing very well and getting frustrated then just take a break from game and come back later. IT gives you time to think about what you're doing wrong.
Sadeyo Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Take your loss with stride and come back for more. I enjoy losing if the match is really good, it allows me to seek out what I'm doing wrong and plan other alternatives against them. When the blood is good you can take 10 losses but you gained something out of each fight and you go about your way improving on it. Those were training methods against some of the strongest players I ran against in my time, online or off. I'm confident to say that my neutral, hit confirm, and abare are pretty devastating with what I taken over the years as a Ragna player and the few subs to follow after him. You live three nights without my presence Japan (online). I'm going to wreck your world with my next character coming this weekend. ps- GGs to that super good nu-13 player before I went to the range.

That is true. I played Soul Ookami this morning and I would like to say that not once did I feel ashamed to lose and I even took a match off of him. I was doing stuff I didn't think I could do. I believe with time and patience I can overcome my flaws and become a better player. I feel much better now.

I always beat myself up when I lost, but looking at older CP matches it make me surprised at how bad I was. Granted I'm still not....very good, if I went tourney I'd be out round 1, but I can see that i'm improving, which alone is a victory.
dualseeker Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 GGs to everyone I played today. I'm doing so terribly Dx. I think it's officially time for me to put BB down for a week or two. I keep getting frustrated every time I play and that's not doing me any good =/.

I like to watch videos of my character and think about what I can do to improve/work on combos/etc.
Wild Candy Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Usually when I get frustrated with BlazBlue, that's usually when I take a break to play Persona 4 Arena or some of my other RPG's. But it's almost amazing to see the effect of taking a break from a game only to have it feel a lot easier when you come back.
