No baseless speculation? There's no info enough to make educated guesses yet. Is there any arcade story translations yet? Does Shadow Labrys even have a place in the story? The plot thickens...

Well, we want to at least keep things within the realm of possibility and non-silliness. If Nally was trying to break the seal on Nyx, it would've come up by now SOMEWHERE. And why would he want to? We know that SHO's and ME's goal is the merging of the real world and the TV world, which doesn't really have anything to do with the Great Seal. We can speculate without going into wild theories...

Actually i have been wondering..why does ME want to merge the worlds..also would it kinda be interesting if he succeeds and leaves room for a sequel..that will not happen though..

So the villains want to do exactly what Adachi/Eyeball/Izanami wanted in the original P4? I'll admit, it's a goal that I could see a lot of potential villains having (and potentially for different reasons), but I was kind of hoping for something new.

This does explain why the Inaba "dark hour" still has TV effects though. If the dark hour is some kind of twilight between the real world and the world of the mind/soul (which the TV world is a part of), then it makes sense that Sho/SHO/ME could initiate it to accomplish their goal.

I would like to know where the ME reveals it wants to merge the worlds though. I thought it wanted to acquire strong shadows as allies and "obtain the one true vessel" or something like that. I know that Sho wants to fuse the worlds because he's bored or some shit like that (not that Adachi's reason was any different).

Imagine if ME possed Yu then the entre world would be £$£"ed..anyway i do with ME had a better goal than merging the worlds..but maybe that is not his true plan we just have not wait to find. Also since we are likely going to get along with Adachi 1-2 more charcters for the Console Version..do you guys think Ken/Koromaru might be playable?

Does anyone knows what happens in Naoto's arcade, or at least which characters does she have a fixed fight with?

I'm pretty sure we don't actually know what Sho's goal is. I thought the conceit of the story is that the merging of the TV world and the real world already happened due to the red fog and perhaps other reasons, which is also why everyone has disappeared except for the Persona users.

All we know about Sho's motivations is that he used Labrys as his puppet in P4A because she was "like him" and that he wants to "save" Aigis. What he actually does in the arcade mode ending cliffhangers that will "change the world", we don't know (unless it's like the merging of the entire world with the TV world and not just Inaba).

So let's speculate..My guess is that he is related to that girl that was used as the base for the Anti-Shadow Models..the one Labyrs saw in her dream..

I noticed this was part of a playlist, and saw it had win quotes from both Shadow Labryses...

Wow, the difference between the two.

Both versions have different sets of quotes? That's kinda weird, if that's what you implied.

Yeah, different sets. Shadow-Type Labrys has less win quotes though. The difference I suppose is the severity. Shadow-Type Labrys is kinda tame compared actual Shadow Labrys. Shadow-Type goes on about how bonds don't exist and people just want to use her while actual Shadow is all "screw that shit, I just want people to suffer BWAHAHAHA". Incidentally, actual Shadow Labrys laughs way more than Shadow-Type Labrys does.

Ah, that actually does make sense. Seems there's still no confirmation to Shadow Labrys having an arcade mode story or not, which I'll take to mean that she doesn't. Wonder if she'll have any play in the final story itself.

One of SHO's win quotes is something along the lines of "I'll protect that kid. All who get in my way will be killed."

That kid?

There might be a minor translation error there? Because that sounds like exactly what he's been saying about Aigis. Unless he also refers to her as "that kid." Or maybe it just might be something else that we're unaware of.

No, I've heard that quote, and that's not a translation error. Dunno what he's been saying about Aigis, but he does refer to protecting "ano ko," which is along the lines of Tokkan's "that kid."

He's been saying what about Aigis?

Could be, yeah the phrasing basically means "that child" but it can also mean "that girl".

In story synopsis articles that were initially put up for P4A2 (and there might be other sources, but I'm not sure), it was stated that Sho wants to "protect" Aigis no matter what. It might even be stated in some arcade mode stories.

I don't remember this being correct, the closest thing to this I can remember I was pretty sure was some troll posting weird info on the Megami Tensei wiki.

That actually might be where I got the information from and I'm misremembering. If that's true, then I guess we wouldn't really know the identity of "the kid."

Edit: Wait, actually they had come from the same win quotes I think we're talking about that I had read before. They were written differently, though:

"I just want to protect her. Heh, this has nothing to do with you, of course." and "I am going to protect her and kill anyone who gets in my way." I guess some assumed that the "her" in question was Aigis.

I think the more likely exploitation is that Sho is the brother the kid who they used as a base for Aigis and Labyrs and Sho wants to protect her

Man, I gotta replay through P4A's story mode again. There are probably so many hints to P4A2's that I didn't catch on the first time through.

Watching through this Shadow Akihiko video, it's almost a certainty in my mind that SHO Minazuki is the one who assumes the guise of the cast's Shadows i.e. the Malevolent Entity. It also reasserts that this "mastermind" is responsible for kidnapping Labrys and throwing her inside of the television and he also calls Labrys his "puppet", just like SHO does in P4A2.

The ME also states "This one's desire to make people suffer was perfectly suited for such a plan" in reference to the person in question's heart; their Persona. It's evident from that phrasing that the ME isn't talking about Akihiko, but talking about someone else. I think that someone else is Sho, perhaps implying that SHO is indeed taking control of Sho in order to facilitate the execution of SHO's plan to assemble an army of powerful Shadows.

Nevermind, the striked out part was referring to Labrys.
