I love that her stage is stronghold she captured/you fight her in. I know that the Valkyur mode was pretty much the "best" choice, but I feel like they missed out on doing something more interesting with her gameplay wise but they did give her her legendary rifle lol [>.<]. Her teleport looks kind of bad . . . like the up version seems really useless, but maybe the forward version is not so bad. But it's so hard to judge her since she is being played at such a low level :\ Kinda sad they didn't show Alicia more, her grenade toss looks good but wish I could've seen her Valkyur strike from screenshots in action. I did find it interesting that they were playing on a PS3 build, so maybe she is already on disc and not DLC [since they have yet to announce her an Alicia's release details]. I kind of wish this game was willing to explore more character centric systems, because like with the basketball character, I felt like they missed out an interesting opportunity to make a truly unique character. But it's still the best reason, just short of a playable Strawberry Panic character, to play this game for me.

Selvaria's normals look like they have good range, her projectiles looked pretty solid and of course, teleport swag. Up teleport didn't look too bad to me unless you're being too predictable but I guess that's always a point of concern regarding teleports.

SoWL Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 The reason I still haven't played VC is that I got it along with a bunch of other games when I bought my PS3, and by the time I finished those, I got some new ones, and it kinda moved to the bottom of the pile over time. I did play VC2 and enjoyed it a lot, so I'll give VC1 a try sooner or later (probably sooner rather than later now). I did find it interesting that they were playing on a PS3 build, so maybe she is already on disc and not DLC [since they have yet to announce her an Alicia's release details]. She can be both, just look at Kokonoe

I don't know what the license situation is for game rights for most of these franchises, as far as it being a niche in a niche- Aquapazza came out in the US so who knows.

~KAZE~ Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 I'll certainly be picking up this game for Kirino hype, in addition to the fact that bursting is somewhat encouraged for combos/set-ups or whatever and the trump cards, all look pretty interesting to me. I've only had some experience in the Blazblues so this will be an interesting change of pace. Nov.13 is such a long time from now...

I mean, granted I haven't watched THAT many matches, it seems like Ruri's pedals would be extremely annoying to deal with which would give Kirino the chance to use some quick j.C/j.B overheads / any of her lows while staying safe with the pedals after Kirino using her 2.C (that does cause hard knockdown right?) There's probably a good reason why an Oreimo dream team wouldn't be considered good, but I'm still too new to understand I guess. I'll keep studying up though.

The thing about petal oki (and Kouko oki since its close to the same idea) is you can just mash reflect guard to avoid the mixup (at the cost of some meter but meter is so easy to get in this game why not) and in neutral is sort of loses to other assists and most special moves. You can still make it work, you might not find a lot of video for it though.
