Sourenga Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 http://dengekionline.com/elem/000/001/076/1076681/ Dengeki Online has an article about the loketests with video.http://www.gamer.ne.jp/news/201506260032/ Gamer has a long article with command lists for the new characters. So anyways, we have this new "Ignition" system. After the first round ends, you chose one of your characters and give them a power-up. LarsMasters Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Somethings missing: *New sprites. Particularly on: **Crumple/Cheap KO/Wall Bounced **New Moves (Dash, Command (mostly Launcher, other than just Impact Break), HC, D(2x)) (most are reused for old characters) *All moves OTG *Recovery Roll I guess we'll see another character slots (if there's another series characters, perhaps Support select should be split into two) & most of all, the guest characters has their own storyline, & i suppose they should be a mid-boss instead of final boss, either for some characters or similar in console like the way how many Climax Art Finish used
Dreiko Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 What exactly is a "Blast character"? I haven't seen that explained anywhere.
Tokkan Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 What exactly is a "Blast character"? I haven't seen that explained anywhere. You select a Blast character from the pool of selectable Support characters; there are three types of Blast character that correspond the different types of Blast. A Power Up Blast character would affect your Power Up Blast, for example.
Dreiko Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 So other than giving passive traits to the blast the second assist doesn't do anything else? I thought we'd be able to call both of them or something. Still interesting though, will have to see exactly what they do in the loctests.
wenzel Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 its too soon or its confirmed this "sequel" to consoles?
Fatal Seabass Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 From that gameplay video, the blonde haired guy looks like fun. I also like that assist too. I just can't wait to see the changes to the existing characters.
RurouniLoneWolf Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 These changes are sounding pretty interesting. Blast characters and the Ignition system sound like they'll add a nice extra level of strategizing and ability to customize your playstyle.
LarsMasters Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 New Character Select & VS BGM are way too awesome for this
NeoStrayCat Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 I know you guys are talking much about the updated version of "DBFC - Ignition", but if anyone's heading out to AX next weekend (as of post) SEGA will bring (hopefully the English build of) Vanilla DBFC over to try out! We already know the date of DBFC, August 25. Yeah, I know that's posted over GS, but that can be a placeholder anyways (but since its a probabilty though since its around the summer placeholder), rather ask any of the SEGA staff over there if that's acutally gonna be the date or not, but we'll see.
Dreiko Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 I kinda hoped the english version would have ignition in it what with the release date being as it is. I guess that's not realistic. I really hope they make the online cross version cause otherwise I'll have to wait since ignition sounds like a separate disc already lol. Double dipping for an update is fine but triple-dipping is a bit much...and we have the new uniel on the way...and revelator...and NItro+.
BlueXIII Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 The changes sounds really fucking good, honestly. We haven't even gotten vanilla in NA and I'm already looking forward to IGNITION more! As for the new characters, Qwenthur looks like one of the most interesting characters yet. Emi can turns into Nanase, so that's cool I guess. I hope they go into the character specific changes soon.
Tokkan Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 http://dengekionline.com/elem/000/001/077/1077556/ So... 寺田:今回のロケテストでは入っていないのですが、もう1つネットを使った新しい仕組みを考えて……。Apparently Ignition might have a new feature that uses the Internet. And some people are speculating it might be netplay at the arcades a la Tekken 7.Nothing's been confirmed though so don't go shouting "DFCI has netplay in arcades" at the top of your lungs or anything.
LarsMasters Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 https://www.evernote.com/shard/s603/sh/dc732548-1ef2-4514-a410-7161a0a9fe27/b54da87a558a0b70a82fb9f72df413ed Can anyone translate the changes?
SoWL Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Weird to see Emi have the baby that wasn't in the anime yet. I hope it's a teaser for S2, but if it isn't, they missed a lot of opportunities for references with other characters.
LarsMasters Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 just like how Heavy Object anime was announced in the same time
SoWL Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 That has been announced a while ago, but there are still no any known plans for Maou-Sama S2.
pokemonblaze234 Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Dengeki makes no sense now :V Or it's just kusoge, but idk yet
MotokoChill Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 -Mikoto's 5B has better reach with her hit box now. -It looks like her 2AB is getting nerfed(awh). -Something about how regular 2C is getting taken down about 4/5f & how Kirito's spinning shield(not sure if they're talking about A/B/C or EX ver) beats it now. -You can cancel EX Magnetic Move from normal Magnetic Move now. 5派生から? Anyways Rekkas fuck yes Not entirely sure if I'm reading the rest of this right Climax Arts comboable from EX Magnetic Move6派生から? Idek what they're trying to say about EX Electro Shock or the potential trigger conditions thing Damn I really need to keep up on my studying. Really looking forward to the OTG thing & the new damage possibilities with the second support system.
LarsMasters Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 OTG & Cheap KO/Crumple//Wall Bounced are now very important for all current fighting games since Street Fighter IV, after KOF & Guilty Gear. I starting to feel that Shizuo needs a new Air Throw move. On what i see, he is good on throwing stuff, even he should have a dash attacks (particularly reused 5A & a headbutt). Same goes for Akira that he does needs more drastic changes: *his Air C sprite is from the second hit (Tankyaku) while second changes (first hit/Utankyaku) reused as dash C to match his 3D counterpart move *He might ended up being like Akatsuki in UNIELST: **there should be a variations of Renkantai on the ground, other than just in the air, with the command input should be D(2x), since its a Shoryuken type + should have invisible set up to make it look like Shoryuken-type attack. Means Tenzanko as 236C instead **Teishitsu Dantai as 6C & Hard Knockdown against Standing opponents & Special/EX/Climax/Card Cancel during juggle **His variant version of Parry-like Hold move should be an Impact Skills in all direct ground versions (including a Parry counter based on DOA5 cliffhanger move), since he's the only character to have step dash & look like Ryu, ironically he's a non-projectile Shoto version of Ryu himself in this game *All moves, which are related to palm & shoulder attacks (including 5B, 5C, 2C & Kaiko), should nullify the projectile
BlueXIII Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 http://www.siliconera.com/2015/07/03/dengeki-bunko-fighting-climax-set-for-october-in-north-america/ Not sure if anyone even cares about vanilla anymore, but apparently October release date is a thing. I can't imagine why the release went from Summer to Winter, but hopefully the localization ends up being really good.
Dreiko Posted July 4, 2015 Posted July 4, 2015 There isn't all that much text to localize in this game anyhow, it's not like this is BB or GG with hours upon hours of visual novel to translate. It's odd that it has taken that long.
BlueXIII Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 The only thing I can imagine making it take so long would be if they were working on the dubbing?
Dreiko Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 The only thing I can imagine making it take so long would be if they were working on the dubbing? Is it confirmed to have a dub even?
LarsMasters Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 Is it confirmed to have a dub even? Wow there, not yet
