This game is probably going to sell pretty damn well in the states, too. And being as simple as it is, it'll also serve as a good entry-level fighting game for people new to the genre in the same way P4A was when it came out!

Hello, I'm new to this forum.

 

I was wondering if someone could tell me how to do a jump cancel in a combo? My character main is Kirino.

Only some normals are jump-cancelable.You can only do it when you hit with those normals. Figure out which of them are that by tapping UP as your attack makes contact with your foe and test every single normal they have.

 

Also, if you are in trump card mode (that blue energy bar that dwindles which occurs after you use a trump card), all normals are jump cancellable so you can do it with any of them, even when they get blocked.

I don;t know how to deal with rush down with yukina. her 5A to slow to poke with, trump card terrible slow, and A+B moves just don't seem to cut it.  Its really frustrating.

Blocking is pretty important with Yukina. But once you find the right openings you should try to open up your opponent with either 5A, 2A, or 2B & try to get a basic combo in so you can run more pressure. Good luck to you!

Heard that DFC is getting localized so I started messing with it again. My main's Shizuo and I was pretty bummed to see that literally no one has listed any combos for him on the Mizuumi Wiki. I have a really small collection ranging from easy-peasy ABC combos to some fun mid-level combos that might be useful for new players just getting started, how can I contribute to this cause and spread the love? D:

Well, we can't be sure exactly if indeed their Network mode will be unified or split on different region versions, but we'll wait and see.

No one knows much for sure yet, but we'll see. Anyways, pre-orders are live, currently at Amazon for now, GS doesn't have them in their system yet, and the prices are farily decent, $40 for PS3 version, and $30 for Vita version.

 

(And yes, I'm gonna feel sorry for those that imported it for much more than that. >_>)

Yeah, I didn't get the JP version mostly because it was so expensive, but now I'm totally picking up the digital version.

It's fine, we got those preorder goodies. I got a whole magazine with beautiful art and a lens cleaner with shana/mikoto/kirito on it lol. Also, having the game for all those months ahead of people is worth something too lol.

Does anyone else have issues connecting online recently? I'll try to connect and get a message for a few moments before they kick me back to Main Menu. :(

I'm having this problem in both UNIB and Fighting Climax. With Fighting Climax I somehow got passed it by clicking OK.

With UNIB, I got stuck in a loop.

No clue what the hell is going on D:

Could somebody, like, hook me up with a brief overview for Miyuki? I don't know anything about her except the fact that she's the cutest girl in the game, but I'm definitely interested in what her playstyle is like, pros/cons, her strength in relation to other characters, etc.

^I play Miyuki. I'm probably not the best guy out there but I know some sweg combos.

 

Also GG's to everybody I netplayed over the past week. I took a month off from FG's but looking to start playing this more again.

Anyone here who can give my friend tips about how to catch my mobile irritating Shana with Kirito?
1. she has air-dash to escape certain situations

2. she has a full screen projectile/EX projectile to stop any ground rush (vorpal strike doesn't work bcoz wierd clash box and Kirito gets hit by Hien)

3. after a push block or an OTG move: Last Order to stall out Dengeki meter
4. contantly jumping to avoid grab/throw

5. first attempt when Kirito grabs her with combo (activating dengeki in the process) she bursts

After dengeki is worn out he is out of options and he can't afford to use another dengeki in the same round, bcoz next round will be a sure loss/huge disadvantage with 0 dengeki.

So far his best options were to:

- spam dash-5B air unblockable

- mix-ups where he goes into dengeki to bait out a normal move while he become invincible and start to combo

- random air hit with: spinning blade to combo

I have been training again with Yukina these days and for the combos that use 5AB>TKJ236AB. I found something interesting. SURPRISE!! With the correct timing you don't even need to TK it. However, I get it easier if I TK it but it is more like a psychological issue lol
