What ivanchu said is true. Having all videos in one place is a lot better if people are looking for either match, tutorial or combo videos. That obviously doesn't mean it's bad to post combo/oki vids in their respective threads as well though!

Apparently 5KPP no longer ground bounces and instead causes knockdown. At 7:52 Ram does an airdash string > land, c.S 623P c.S 623P 5KPP and starts to setup oki. Also uses it against Axl at 10:33. rip shitty midscreen PPP enders.

That's an interesting find there but I'm wondering if this is a new property if you juggle/combo into it. I'm wondering if you get a knockdown on a grounded opponent or if it pops them into the air like version 1.04 does. I actually quite like this new change because we get a knockdown into midscreen oki and her midscreen oki game is lacking in 1.04 so I hope there's some cool setups off of this. On the down side I use the 5KPP string on light and heavy weights for corner carry or damage purposes so I can't do that anymore. I'm hoping the supposed buff to the PK hit box will address this but if not then I'll go for this midscreen knockdown setup. This change actually makes her more dangerous now, imo.

tons of daiji ram

highlights that i remember from watching em yesterday night:

kkp gives hard knockdown on airborne opponents

air combo into j2D gives hard knockdown 

backdash>yrc>j2D is a thing

an active sword shielded ram completely from slayers 5k  :toot:

pk dash pk dash ppp combo still there

daiji loops still exist!

her damage is shit even with the loops (looking at 4 to 5 combos for a kill instead of 2 and a half)

Watching those videos now and to further add to the active sword shielding Ram this is a hidden buff/nerf for her. It appears that the swords act similar to little Eddie in that they can take hits for Ramlethal but it's not as effective as little Eddie.

As you can see here, Daiji lands a combo into 2KK and immediately goes 6S. He attempts to go for a 2D with the cover of the 6S but the Slayer does BDC Mappa Punch and instead of hitting Ramlethal the sword takes the hit and Daiji gets a free punish.

Hmm...was the Slayer holding forward to get this cross up to work or is this something new? I'm wondering if he was trying to forward dash and moved himself out of the corner slightly.

I think this might be another case of where the sword takes a hit for Ramlethal. If you watch the time stamp above, Slayer bursts on Daiji and after teching Daiji double jumps and does j.2HS. As Daiji is falling the Slayer goes for an air grab but whiffs and gets j.HS instead which hits the j.2HS during start up and then Daiji just throws him when he lands. I think if this was 1.04 that j.HS would have actually forced Daiji to block negating the sword (provided the sword didn't attack at that point) so Daiji actually gets a free throw punish in that situation.

As far as I know, it's pretty much impossible to cross a character up if he's all the way in the corner unless you use a move that vacuums him out or he voluntarily moves out of it.

Wow. That's a pretty huge buff actually. Full combo from 4F +1 jab. I wonder if you can do 4PPP4K for easy mash confirm into full combo...

Myth is busted. It truly is the player who moves himself out of the corner such that Ramlethal can occupy it. The weirder part is that the j.k in these scenarios aren't crossups. Holding forward results in getting hit.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that just just 5PPK and not 5PP4K. I mean isn't 4k that straight upwards going handstand kick instead of that rising wheelkick one. Also it looks like Ky was hit when crouching, so do we have proof that that combination works both for standing or if it's a crouch only?

Yes that combination is 5ppk.

Ah my bad that is indeed 5PPK. Did that combination always have that amount of untechable time?
