There isn't really anything new or cool with CP Ragna. Bloodscythe is the only new thing he got, but it doesn't offer a whole lot. Ragna still seems like a solid character now but looks horribly boring compared to previous versions. Azrael is new, manly as fuck, and kicks people. A lot. Looks like a fun character.

I've been playing Arakune since CT and although people will argue that he's always been top tier, I've always enjoyed the try-hard characters. I was big on CS2 Ragna and Bang and I main Akihiko in p4u. There is always a great feeling scraping out a win through hard work and ingenuity. Never had a desire to hop on the best few characters in any game I'm genuinely interested in, if they end up being the best in some iteration, so be it.

Lol, I'd be lying if i said some of my habits didn't carry over (primarily the jumping), but I get past them and it gets easier. I never considered the ability to run a luxury until I played Arakune. Playing Arakune is literally like playing a different game, you see everything in a different light and everything from attack patterns down to simple footsies is handled and executed differently than contemporary characters. So it's fun to actually play BB for a change every now and then. It's doubly fun when it's an uphill climb. I'm a scrub, I know, but the win feels more rewarding when you work harder to achieve it. Good Games indeed. So all that said, CP Ragna is pretty appealing to me.

Random thought: It'd be cool if Blood Scythe had a Feint option where he doesn't hit you and instead lands right in front of you.

But now i'm just going to what and see what happens when i have the game.
