It's possible that it's a placeholder but it seems like a logical release date from Aksys, all things considering. Arcana Heart 3 in September, Xrd in the holiday season and then UNIEL in March. About 3 months breathing room for each.

Anywho, I'll be sure to preorder it as soon as it shows up on the Canadian sites.

UNIEL is now available to pre-order in the US, $40 at a placeholder date on 3/31/15. Currently listing on Amazon and GS, other stores will follow suit later.

Update: A little extra anyways, the US official product page/site/etc. -> http://aksysgames.com/undernight/

So they're officially keeping the title In-Birth, huh?  I wonder how many people over here are going to pass on the game because they think it's some kind of clandestine abortion clinic simulator.

Sounds silly but it's the games name so whatever. Who care's what it's named if you enjoy playing it?

OVER THE WORLD -settlement- has been announced. It's a 3-on-3 tournament. Qualifiers will start on October 25th.  Finals will be held on January 17th.

Yesterday, Narita also teased that info about PS3 version update will be coming "very soon" and that Nanase & Byakuya will be released in the arcades by the time weather starts to get cold (I sure hope it means that they'll be in arcades before OTW-s- qualifiers start...)

Hopefully they nerf Gordeau.

Not happening, they aren't changing the balance anymore. With update they mean that they fix a bunch of bugs (like Wald infinite) and if we're really lucky they might add BGM select

I'll be surprised if they never make any balance changes, but doing it right before a major tournament is probably not a good idea.

I don't think we'll see a straight up balance patch for UNIEL, but I expect a new version with balance changes at some point.

Hopefully they give us some actual time with the current version, game's are more fun for me when I'm not waiting for rapid updates.

I'm not sure what's to "lol" about if they leave Gordeau untouched in a bugfix patch.
Gordeau is currently, for better or worse, pretty intentional.

Taking away beneficial options (even if they are bugs) from mid-tier characters and nothing from the best character in the game counts as pretty lolworthy to me I think.  It'd be like if BBCP 1.1 nerfed everyone but left 1.0 Kokonoe untouched.

Again, guys, this is just a patch to bugfix a few things and add Byakuya and Nanase. Don't expect balance changes outside of ones incurred by removing bugs (e.g., the already removed Wald infinite, projectile unscale, etc.)

Once again, why would they address balance in a bug fix. I'm not even discussing what should or should not be balanced in the game, but rather that the purpose of this patch- which is to fix bugs that they overlooked in development.

It would be pretty odd for them to suddenly nerf Gordeau out of the blue like that when his gameplay is as they intended in design. Rebalancing Gordeau should (and probably will!) be left for a balance patch or more likely a new version of the game.

Means that this is a bugfix and not a balance patch it's not really to be expected to see characters adjusted like that. Even if the charcters changed by the bug fixes get significantly weaker the overall balance is still not really a talking point because means these functions were bugs and not planned it's very unlikely that they were factored into the characters design to begin with and are unintentional side effects of the bug.

While the balance of the game will be adjusted by these bugs being removed, the over-all balance of the game is not the goal of this patch. It's to remove bugs, simple as that. An overall balance patch is outside of the scope of this.

Yo if they get rid of the rapid 5A glitch, Imma be pissed; my character barely has any pressure as it is.

If you're talking about doing 5A multiple times on block by holding 7/8/9, then I doubt you have to worry. It's a feature in a number of games with auto-combo 5A strings.

Not only that, but we're probably only getting a PS3 patch to match the arcade patch fixes, which are things like Waldstein's infinite, Akatsuki's inability to CS cancel his EX fireball (poor guy), and so-on.
