j.214B forces ground tech if you do it low enough. It's best to omit long air strings and just go j.2C > j.214B it seems. j.2B seems like a decent-ish ender as well.

Yeah, I just saw your video. It seems like a good idea since you can land Hassou Tobi. I was trying to figure out how to get that to work since she can't cancel into it from God Hand. Good stuff.

More numbers. Thank Japan.

Also what have people come up with in terms of mix up? The only non-obvious thing I came up with is blocked j. B into either j. C, or you do j. C really low so it doesn’t come out and go low with 2A. You can also go blocked j. B, j. C into j. 2b or land 2A. J. B is a strange move.

C god hand and 5D aren't going to cut it sadly.

(corner) 236CD > 2C link is character specific.

236CD needs to hit at least 16 times for this combo to work. Minazuki only takes 15 hits at close range, hence the wallstick is not high enough :\. Works if you are far enough though.

Her 5As are super wierd, all of ardha's grabs are unblockable, you can combo meterless from non counter air throw with J.C>5C etc.but I think its somewhat height dependent, also Mediarahan is too trollsy not to use lol its like she actually wants the opponent to try harder

What's the point of mediarahan

If It heals the opponent

sounds troll like lol. but honestly if ur opponent is close to going into awakening mode you could use this 2 ur advantage so they don't

Apparently Hassou Tobi gets max damage if the combo leading up to it is in multiples of 8?

Posted

Yes.

Hassou Tobi deals as many hits as needed to reach the next multiple of 8. Meaning it will deal 1 hit if your combo is 7 hits, 2 hits if your combo is 6 hits etc...

For every hit hassou tobi deals, it will increase its damage. From 500 to 3700-ish.

I don't really like this game mechanic.

I just want to point out that Margaret's 5D and 2D don't have invul. They both have guardpoint, which is completely different. 5D has two hits of armor and 2D has only one. This means that if you mash on either of them, the hitstop from touching the persona will give you extra time to visibly identity the situation you've been put into (you can jump cancel after hitting the persona if need be). Also, unlike Liz's 5D, we can actually roll past Margaret's 5D since it takes a long time to become active.

I'm personally not enjoying what Margaret has outside of her neutral (which is kind obnoxious and hilarious). She has a lot of options for dealing with different neutral situations, but I can't seem to find anything else she has going for her.

apparently 236236 A/B AB also affects hassou tobi, so inputting it before inputting hassou tobi increases its damage, doesn't work for phanta rhei though

edit: so far I'm having a really tough time with her normals, especially her 5A and 2A, but overall I'm liking how she is even though it's only day one lol

Margaret's Mediarahan just seems to be a healing super. It heals her and her opponent for a set amount (Margaret being healed for more). Nothing to do with 'time warps' or last damage dealt.

I went into VS mode with 2 controllers, went into awakening, did a DP and then Mediarahan. Yosuke got healed for about half of the DP's damage, did a few more autocombos and did Mediarahan, he got healed for the same amount (Half of the DP). I did the same thing, got into awakening and hit 5A backed off and did Mediarahan, Yosuke got fully healed.

(Also did the test while only getting hit by 5As, no combos)

Really? When I tried using Mediaharan nothing happened. Did a few whiff DPs and then Mediahara. Lost all the blue HP. Did a few hits on the CPU and did Mediaharan and nothing happened.

If you're doing it in training mode, turn off Health Regen.
