SolxBaiken Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Yes, but you can use Tactical Guard to block/parry them
Fujiwara Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Not all grounded normals are air unblockable. Example: Celia II's 2C for whatever reason (it's a fucking cannon) is blockable in the air.
xlolxlolx Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 vein's f.5C can be air blocked lol and his forward moving slash special and first hit of dp is air unblockable
Fujiwara Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 The special where he makes the crescent of electricity and dashes behind em depending on distance? Sounds like a AUB setup if they block it mid-air.
lolokoa Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 oh hey we made this Basic Mechanics Video http://youtu.be/sGEOm6WhOrQ and Happy new year
Starlight777 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Ok who's the better zoner between Cthylla and Kudlak-Sin? Considering trying to get this.
Fujiwara Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 (edited) I'm considering picking up Cthylla because loli character is obligatory for me. Thanks, lolo for the video. Do you see all the Kudlak hate, bro? Jump on that zombie zoner with projectile properties everywhere Edited January 1, 2013 by Fujiwara
xlolxlolx Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 i was talking about his 236P series but that super is air unblockable too tho its pretty terrible outside of exceed+corner lol
Starlight777 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 I'm considering picking up Cthylla because loli character is obligatory for me. Thanks, lolo for the video. Do you see all the Kudlak hate, bro? Jump on that zombie zoner with projectile properties everywhere I was gonna play both of them because a Magical Girl inspired by the works of Lovecraft is too good to pass up and Kudlak's attacks remind of Marie from Skullgirls, plus he has a Ronald McDonald color. It's like both of these characters were custom tailored for me.
Tigre Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KrGVU597y8 I found this... somewhere.
Fujiwara Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Herme's nipples in that promo. Dat animation budget.
Starlight777 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Impressive but they missed Cthylla out of the non boss characters.
xlolxlolx Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 yoyoyoyoyo's and bravo's face at 32 seconds is pretty stronk
Starlight777 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 I just realized Chaos Code basically had Crush Triggers before BB
Fujiwara Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 I thought that the moment I was messing with Celia's. I was wondering why no one really used em, so I'm assuming they're easily parryable considering the warning? Hard to test a lot of things out without a record function
SolxBaiken Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 I just realized Chaos Code basically had Crush Triggers before BB Not really since Crush Triggers are alot more versatile in and out of combos. And several games have had guard break attacks before BB.
Keo-bas Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 wait what celia bottom tier or something? man just when i thought i got over my low tier hero mess. Well it would explain why she the only character I really click with. But then again her neutral game seems respectable though (with obvious flaw).
Fujiwara Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Celia I is pretty respectable if you press buttons right, get your meter for Dolls and you're ready to go. But she has no fucking health.
Starlight777 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Every character has different health values? Jesus, I hope Cthylla and Kudlak aren't both brittle.
Fujiwara Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Cthylla certainly isn't as squishy as Celia I.
Starlight777 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 theres different stun bar values too lol I wonder what other games did this besides the SF series? Celia I sounds like she's made of cheap parts defense wise lol.
Fujiwara Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Celia I is pretty zoning orientated. Her entire special moveset is based around bombs and missles/projectiles. She can lock you the fuck down with her I-no dash (Run) and projectile game if you give her a knockdown in the corner. Not that you can't parry, but when she has her moving projectiles out, they -will- interrupt you mid combo if they can get to you in time. and then she'll get momentum again. She has a bar for how many bombs/missle/whathaveyou she can set out before it has to refill again. In other words, ammo.
