that's basically what it comes down to. if you're disappointed by this, show up to tournaments (side tourney or not)!

San Diego's thread of meetups every Friday Night at SD Saltmines

cool. hopefully a few others show up, but at the very least, it's nice to see a new face in sd. -
? it's an update about once a year... pretty much like sf4

i can officially say that we (dustloop) have not talked to aksys about whether the event is canceled, nor have any of your threads become locked due to any insider knowledge of any kind. your threads were closed because we don't know anymore than you do and asking dustloop won't get you anywhere. we posted all available info when we got it on the front page... that's all we got.

getting my extend (ps3) tomorrow morning, so i'll host this friday night. dunno how many setups we can have going, but if you guys want to bring other games to mash, that's fine by me. -
hopefully i'll have the game tomorrow. otherwise it's going to show up at my house when i'm visiting the family till new years.

teddie's super is just him on the giant ball. the falling 'meteors' (actually those wooden water bucket things you see in japanese hotsprings) were from the previous item he threw. you can pause through the video and see that he tosses it right before he does the super. see here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=I2IOg1eCBWk#t=0m29s also, mitsuru's slash/cut super looks pretty meh, i'm disappointed. and that announcer voice ("KO") sounded really terrible to me.

cleaner format, easier to read, easier to update. at least that's the plan its not publicly visible yet since it's still pretty unfinished, but i'll make an announcement soon enough

i ordered it too. hopefully it will be at my doorstep before i leave for norcal for the holidays. -
i'm importing. i also bought video recording equipment, so hopefully i can make something useful for hte site when i get it. also, unrelated, but i honestly dont' think i should be a jin mod anymore since i'm being too preoccupied with other dustloop matters. i'd like to ask everyone who'd make a good replacement for me.

a quick glance at hte frame data showed only Ragna's 5A and Makoto's 5A are 5F startup normals. didn't check specials or supers, but off the top of my head, the only other things taht are 5F or faster are catch moves like yukikaze.

apparantly someone doesn't read dustloop's front page http://www.dustloop.com/forums/content.php?285-BBCS-Extend-release-date-for-the-USA-is-Feb-14th!-40!-Limited-Edition

i agree 2B proration buff is huge. it means decent damage off lows now! 6A nerf seemed severe, but if it's -5 instead of -4 it still means taht most of the cast can't punish it on normal block. if it's worse then yeah.... don't do it without RC and in the corner i guess?

in one of hte videos yu does a combo > RC > gold burst > more combo, so that probably means mid combo gold bursts work like BB's. The super meter didn't drain when he RCed but did drain when he did hte super at the end. I can't tell if that means mid combo gold bursts mean you get full meter, but if it did, that'd be absolutely stupid. perhaps it was just a debug thing where RCs were free? i dunno. in another video yosuke combo > OTG > combo and the combo seems to do decent damage so that part is like BB too. I don't think there are BB styled ground rolls though since the system images they posted never mentioned it. Probably means that you can only choose your neutral tech timing.

yeah, this is true for every style. i already tired to fix this, but unfortunately it was a lot harder than i thought it'd be.
