  1. not to be antagonistic or cause nasty discussions, but that is incorrect. I both remember this being wrong, and i tested it just now. 5B(CH)->3C->22C->66C does connect vs tager even with 5B at a bit away, and from as far as possible if u do a dash before it (or were dashing to begin with) and with a few frames to spare. 22BC->66C connects as well, even with the added pushback. I didn't check damage potential though, so for all i know the spacing could limit haida usage or w/e and cut down damage to shit, but the requirement for 3C to be real close is definately not true. Of course, this is asuming we are still talking about CT, and assuming that is what you meant, if not, ignore the ramblings of a guy who can't read
  2. actually instant 28D on landing could still be done with just 28D without another D before it as long as u buffered the 28 during another move's animation, like j.C, or even a low air throw, or when u already used ur double jump or air dash. It's not really a rare scenario, i can't really picture noel tying to do landing-cancel 28D by just jumping in without doing any attacks or anything, i see myself getting kicked if i tried that. I do agree that 623 motion makes it easier though, even with the above u could start the 28 motion late and still jump, happened to me a few times and i ate AA into rape. online input lag =

  4. because the inmense troll factor of the optic barrel zoning joking aside, i been wondering bout this too, i honestly don't see how the match-up is even slightly in her favor.
  5. somewhat doubt it, they dont tech till they hit the ground, considering the ground techs are the only options the opponent has, none of them tech quick enough to let them block 3C, on the other hand, if the opponent techs neutral he dodges the 3C and noel looses all chance she got to use meaty on kd (even if her oki is as shit as i hear it is in CS). Timed well, i guess 3C could combo off the Thor for a bit more damage if 6C wont come out in time, but it just looks so...... unreliable. Though thinking about it, maybe he was trying to catch forward roll techs, i rly got no clue what the deal was with that
  6. 1k? thats quite a bit of damage there, but i guess ensuring a no-whiff her punishable-as-shit-on-whiff 6C would be worth it =x no ideas as to the Thor->3C? i think it may be that 6C would not have reached at that particular situation, but i'd think not throwing the long 3C at all and keeping ur advantage from kd would have been a better choice, not sure what the deal wih the 3C was x.x
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cSYPG749_E R-1 in Tachikawa 3v3 it may be just me, but he seemed to be using drive a lot less, only saw him do it outside of combo 3 times vs lambda O_o some stuff i wanted to ask: -6A->5B any1 know any particular reason why he's taking this up instead of 6A->6C? -Thor->dash->3C.... same as above, i know for sure u can catch bang off a high Thor in the corner with 6C, dunno bout haku.

  9. its both in general vids and im pretty positive some1 posted it over here on the noel forums too. But ya, that combo is more or less deemed rather unpractical. 100 heat, corner, vs haku only, off a 4D FC, highly dropable (and the big damage is rly at the end, u might as well do her other 4D FC combos), and my guess is that some1's wrist would cramp up horrendously after that.
  10. even if we could tell u the exact frames for it, it wouldnt help much, u can't rly accurately count frames as they pass. When you need to get something like this down, practice is the only solution. In this case it could be a pain, her swords' hitbox is rather long horizontally and the active frames last quite a bit, so the timing can be very strict. Something i do myself is use CA after the 2nd hit of her 5DD. If she does anything like 4D/j.2D/214D/236DC/236D/whatever, you can CH her with 6C for combo (5C is not quick enough in this case), and if she parsers, no combo, but you get out of ur CA before she is out of her parser, u have frame advantage. i assumed you wre talking about CT since i read you mention "nu" btw. And her pressure is 5DD->4DD, not 6DD, if she did 6DD, you could dash up to her and make her hurt, that move's hitbox is not too good vs standing noel, unless its tager or hakumen fighting, nu's better off using 6D as an AA or combo move.
  11. summing up those 2 posts, throw him more and use 6D (her drive sweep) from time to time.
  12. meh, imo, the simple "hit him away" CA's are the worst ones, since the ones that dont have that kind of CA get to combo off them, like arakune's throw, haku's counter slap, and noel's dodge. as for her dp, i think its perfectly fine the way it is. True, the meter is annoying, but taking into consideration it has more uses and combo possiblity than the other dps balance for it.
  13. i made due with using attacks with long start-ups on CT. He really seems to be programmed to counter in reaction to your inputs, since every time i used 6D he blocked immediately after and the barrier goes away before the hit gets him on CH.

  21. the wiki says a new lunaport is in the making, so maybe, i went to that forum the wiki links, and was told that the online is currently dead since every1 is practicing MB for evo, and i can already beat the AI on hard q.q
  22. got it to work, the lunaport.exe itself has to be in the same file the vanguardprincess.exe is. and on that note, who wants to play? and on a site note, the creator's blog: http://suge9.blog58.fc2.com/ is that a future new character i see there? cant read japanese so dont know for sure
  23. mmmmh, i cant get the netplay (lunaport) to work, seems like im placing it at the wrong directory or something of the sort, any1 know where the file is supposed to go?

  25. just downloaded this when i heard it was free, i became a fan under 10 mins that luna chick seems hard to play with :x EDIT: question, i tried putting it full screen to check it out and i can't use the menu on top or bring it back to window size..... halp
