I've been trying this, and I don't think it works. The 2D is not launching them into the air for me. The string without the air combo does very poor damage Its character specific. It will work on some characters like Pot. For many of the characters though you can do a 2S gattling from 2D before the JC.

You can turn most of his BnBs into Super Jump Combos. All you have to do is start off with 2S (PRESS UP) > 5K (SUPER JUMP CANCEL) > BnB

Mettakiri is an unblockable move that activates in situations where you can throw your opponent. Its safe to say if you can't normal throw them, you can't hit them with mettakiri. Now the weirdness happens because mettakiri isn't really a command throw. It checks to see if you can throw your opponent the first frame, then activates later. This is why its possible for your opponent to jump, and you still see it activate and hit them.

I wouldn't say Test is Faust most difficult match. Chipp and Millia rank above him there. Problem is most of you haven't had the opportunity to play a decent Chipp, or even Millia. You don't get many FaustxChipp match vids from Japan either. Its just very difficult to keep the correct distance from Testament to where you want to fight him. Too close you get forward beast, and long range you get far beast. At your best distance Testament can easily avoid your long range pokes, 5S, 2HS with backdashing.
