  4. attacking crouchers? .....just attack, landing you can combo 6C on them for big damage, and as for hitting them.... I gues JB>J2C>2B is good, and standard mixup (2D,236D>6D frame traps, and remember 5B>crossups work best). Jin's mixup is bleh, there's little reason to block high against him. or you could do the Jin thing and pressure. honestly I never use 6A, it's a "-fucked" on block with no cancel, and the reward is low.

  6. AC has left it's mark, I try to do green sever and find myself doing driving a frozen automobile on a blocking opponent.... and waste 50 meter tapping for SE FRC. The game never gets old.... just wish I had a someone competent to play (my brother's a fucking masher T_T)
  7. the red are the moves area in which it hits (you want a big one) and blue is where you can get hit (you want a small one)

AC was my favorite.... and that's from a Ky player.... though AC Pot has my eternal ire, the game feels like it gives you far more options with the characters (due to the massive changes) and the characters felt more unique and allowed for more creativity in doing random/cool stuff (see: every Ky combo movie, lol 214D).

I don't like to think about the truly bad things.... like having to essentially change my block stance every other move, and how at the same time I have to look for holes and make sure a command grab isn't coming.... or how those three nails can cover a shockingly large portion of the screen, or how GP's mess with my pressure and have to react to that change. When Bang jumps I just run away, I can't do anything, he's going to be somewhere doing something and there's nothing I can do, JC will probably whiff, and so will everything else, so I just run, sit, pray, block, and hope the other guy gets lazy. Ragna though I still feel is worse. I just get shutdown go to the corner and hope I can block pressure forever, Jin loses footsies 90% of the time, ice swords can't keep him away, and no meterless options to deal with pressure (623C will whiff, and you will die from FC 5K... unless he has meter then you're totally dead). And Litchi is....just.... I... I- I don't want to talk about it. I haven't had the chance to fight a good Bang so my thoughts could change.
  14. oh sorry. it says that heat gain is figured by dmg*move*situation*character rating and 2 of the situations are getting hit and blocking, so how is the heat determined there? is it just "situation*character rating", or is the enemies attack factored in?

I was reading the system guide, and I have a question. for the heat gain calculation, it says blocking and getting hit are factored, so does the enemies damage and move type factor in? or is it just the character ratingXsituation? also I'm surprised Jin and Noel are the only ones with above average heat gain, I thought Ragna and Hazama would be there too. and bursts have something called "carry" in their data, what does that mean?

  17. it's bad, but it doesn't feel as bad as Ragna. it's annoying thing.... "hey how about I air dash and throw nails at you and then air dash awalolololololol".... so dumb, have to catch, and then hope he doesn't use any of his DD's (since they're all reversals....) and then deal with his pressure and mixup, but really you it's just a mario vs a lightning bruiser, you're at an obvious disadvantage, but just a little. whereas Ranga rapes my nuetral game and offense game, and Litchi's Litchi and fucks all my shit up.

  19. oh you know what I meant.... there's like 2 I know that qualified, Ren (IIRC) and Hiroshi. still, there's gotta be some more Jin players in japan who will make combo movies..... right?
  20. my mistake and when I said air game I meant air to air, sorry if that wasn't clear. it's very strange to fight makoto as Jin, her movement and overall style is wierd. it is mostly a battle of momentum, I say Makoto is at a slight disadvantage because her neurtal game isn't as good as jin's, but she beats him at close range, and 3C goes under most of Jin's stuff (which is really annoying), and at mid range.... it's a guessing game. however she's fairly recent and things could change.
  21. 3C doesn't go under J236A/B. an aerial DP=/= air-air combat. in fact that would be a terrible idea. her approach is still gimmicky, unless you just try to run up, then you get a 5B or 5C. sure when she gets in she's a bitch to get out, but the advantage to jin is that he can keep her out, one of the few characters he beats at many ranges (only loses at point blank, and even then 2A and 5B are effective)
  22. you mean besides range, approach, his ability to zone her (the only character he really can), air game? only thing she really has over him damage and pressure.

  25. C moves (for example) don't self gatling, so the JC becomes superslous, since you have to jump, however if it's like JA>JA>JA>JA>etc, then the JC is probably necessary, just make sure they know it's jump cancel and not JC, so like J-C
