  2. what does a characters combo rate determine? I never found that.... I would assume it has something to do with tech times.
  3. true, against Hakumen Jin has 4 DP's, yukikaze, and ice arrows to handle the pressure, but Haku doesn't really need to pressure Jin, just spam 4C and JC, and there's not much Jin can do except 2D.... anyways, the only thing I find okay about Tsubaki is her pressure, but tager has 360/720...
  4. overall that's true, since he can't swing his sword very fast to break Jin's drive, but it does null Jin's long range game. really it's more annoying than difficult, the toughest part is getting in on Haku, once you do it becomes pretty even. I would say slight advantage Haku because the damage gap is quite large, and Haku's pokes have much more range..... and his JC is much better than Jin's EDIT: I need to stop playing and type, I just got ninja'd by 20 minutes.
  5. quickly throwing back to the topic of hakumen..... that dude wrecks my shit almost as bad as Ragna. I can't throw ice swords, and since most of Jin's drive have projectile property, that black hole is an ass to deal with. if it's out my drive is essentially gone. his pokes just flatout outclass my 5C (and his JC is bigger .l..-_-), so the entire matchup boils down to me trying to land a CH 2D (70p1 WTF.....) off of whiffed 4C's.... god forbid he jumps.
  6. it should be noted that alot of tager's attacks are alot safer than they appear.
  7. will a well timed 2D whiff? because that should catch them if they get too predictable.
  8. yeah, the easiest way is to do 5B>3C>2B>5C>6C>dash jump>etc..... and that gives you the lovely total of.....2.5K. and the 6C, which gives you 3K, is not so incosistent to land (and still have enough to hits to get an ice car in) that there's no point.....
  9. since 6B is so slow I usually do 5B>5C>sekka..... actually I do sekka combos more than air combos.... I must look like such a masher.

  11. really? I just tested it, if you hit them with 6D when they land it works, that way they can't tech, since they're on the ground.
  12. off a CH 623B? with that 60 p1.... I would say 623B>6C>6D>6D>5B>5C>3C>236C(oki) maybe 623B>6C>6D>6D>sekka>6C>214C, haven't tried this one though.... I suspect they might tech before the 6C. actually the best is: 623B>6C>6D>[2]8D. It's a guaranteed kill.
  13. what happens is that if you do [insert attack]>623B>6C>6D>6C>6D>623D>6C>6D (you can't link another 623D, so...)>5C>6C>dash>623D>etc. the 5C sets you too far to do just 6C>623D, so you have to dash to get closer. though the biggest problem (personally) is the timing to make sure the 623D>6C link works......since you have to wait for them to be fairly low.

  15. oh no, I meant in the 6C>6D>hirensou loop, I keep getting 6C>dash>236D instead of 623D, I guess my execution is off.
  16. I was screwing around in training and found some funny stuff: 6C[CH]> dash cance>2D combos 6C>dash>ice arrow>6C>dash>ice arrow combos (looks hilarious) and a question: is anyone else getting EX ice sword in the corner loop at the 6C>dash>623D?
  17. 5C, JC, certain characters 2D......maybe 5D if you're insane. his pressure game? he doesn't have lockdown. but J2C is good for trying to get an overhead and you can do J2C>2B.
  18. with Ragna becoming luke skywalker/darth vader (lazer deflecting and all) and Jin learning from Juubei to control his power(or w/e), it looks like the next game will have some rather large changes.... atleast in story. honestly though, I was expecting Jin to learn things from hakumen not Juubei.... since... yeah...

  20. not scared, just when it's.......intense?... anyway I prefer to see other things. though I generally can't complain considering I've seen much stranger things. good job sesame, for what you do.

  24. generally something with alot of gatlings and cancels, so like 5A,2A,5B..... but really as long as you know how to keep the pressure going, which I don't....

Litchi does what Jin does better, in nearly every aspect..... except maybe defensive options. but she's more difficult to play, and is very offense based, Jin is a mario.... he doesn't do anything well, but he doesn't do anything bad (except high/low mixup). Jin is also more meter dependant than most of the cast (except Hakumen and, arguably, Ragna) he also can't captilize on a FC as much as the higher tier characters.... and his damage is meh.... and....................... just choose Litchi if you want to win.
