  5. @NecroTheReaper: I think I was the Rachel you played if it was 5+ games or something. Ignis eats projectiles. Pumpkin is a projectile. It's only dangerous when she has wind though so just keep an eye on her wind gauge. Lich showed me that Relius can dominate this match if you have very strong spacing and awareness of your Ignis moves.
  6. Use Ignis to cover you. Even with pumpkin out you are relatively safe. She really can't do much if you have doll out (imagine Yukiko vs. Shadow Labrys). From full screen you should threaten with Val Lyra to catch her setting up or shooting.

  12. TD have you fought Psykotik's Carl? It's pretty neat :V I will be making a room tonight. I'm mainly looking for Bullet players.
  13. It's all height dependent. If you are missing 5CC you are either not deep enough (so dash-in more) or the initial hit you juggle with (6A) was too early and thus the opponent is too high up to get hit by 5CC.
  14. Another tip for Bullet players: To deal with Rachel hi-low mixup keep an eye out for her Wind Meter. While it's not feasible to react to instant j.A overhead you can anticipate it depending on her Wind Meter. At full 4 stocks she will more than likely take a chance at mix-up. If she is out of wind that is the opportune time to burst out of anything she is doing and go ham.

  16. "ENGAGING!" More like "ENRAGING!" (for us). This matchup is a pain for Rachel if you let Bullet get in (which is, unfortunately, not too uncommon). Her drive allows her to stay on you even if you try to wind out of close combat. Her Afterburner special let's her increase the range of her drive. What this means is that she can chase you with drive even if you wind & backdash out! I don't have much advice on this matchup yet as I've yet to convincingly win against a competent Bullet. What seemed to work is to emphasize the full-screen game since she is noticeably less effective at full-screen range. At this range her only options are to activate Afterburner or attempt to zone with Flint Shooter (the Powerwave ground projectile). At all costs, keep Bullet in the corner. On wake-up she has a command grab that can act like a reversal but with Rachel's strong oki options you can easily mitigate this situation. Oh yeah and one more thing... she does have command grabs. Keep an eye out on her meter since she has both a command grab and a command grab super. Good luck fellow Rachel players.

  18. If you are struggling with Rachel right now it's probably because of bad habits that have carried over from previous games. Just think of BBCP as a way of banishing those habits and replacing them with good ones. i.e really think about how you are using your wind.

  20. j.2AD~B is good practice. Can OS j.B and makes it easier to confirm a hit or block. Oh I see kirbster already posted that haha oh well gg youwin

  22. Discuss this dance here. Some general tips I've gathered: - His "WYVERN!" charging in move absorbs projectiles. Anticipate this during your zoning. Snipe it with 6B. Basically, treat it as if it's another sledge except he has to be in a certain stance to use it. DO NOT TEMPEST DAHLIA... you will be sad. - His normals are insanely big. I find that playing patiently and making him whiff more effective than trying to go in all the time. - Once you have him in the corner you are pretty much in control. It's very likely Kagura will DP out so just bait it with safe frog setup / pumpkin setups.

  24. I've yet to put to use: - OD combos / Reversal OD combos - Crush Trigger combos - 5C Fatal combos - B Lotus specifics On the match-ups... Terumi is just as annoying to fight as Hazama (it figures). Bullet is weird in terms of getting out of her pressure. I'm thinking a lot of the problems I'm having is related to using barrier to pushblock.
