Playing Phoenix on point is hilarous. I should really try putting together a real team though, I've been running: Strider (Vajra)/Doom (Missiles)/Phoenix (TK Shot) Ghost Rider (Heartless Spire)/Viper (Burning Kick)/Doom (Plasma Beam) Chun-Li (Lightning Legs)/Sentinel (Drones)/Doom (Missiles) Occasionally I like to run Frank (Shopping Cart)/Viper (Burn Kick)/Dr. Strange (Bolts of Balthakk) I'm sure I could mix and match these teams and get something better, like Viper/Doom/Strider or Viper/Sentinel/Phoenix.

I know I don't often post in here, but it looks like my family and I will be moving to Lincolnton soon. So I'm going to be searching around for players around there. I hope to become a regular at Rock 'Em Sock 'Em in Concord, those are some really great tournaments. Hopefully I can meet up with some of you guys in a upcoming tournament.

None of the stores I went to had the game, which was Best Buy, Wal-Mart and Gamestop. Best Buy and Wal-Mart weren't even going to get any copies today, and Gamestop was only supposed to be getting two today, but they might not even get those.

I'm on my way to pick it up right now. And since Extend is out, I guess it's time to remake all of Platinum's threads. Looks like we've got some work to do around here.

Not a whole lot of people have gotten their hands on Relius yet, and I can bet you once Extend releases in NA today, they'll be some good new stuff to come out. Not saying what people have found so far is bad, but there could be a lot of untapped potential with him. I lost my excitement for him a while ago, because of Soul Calibur V and all of the new Skullgirls footage, and I actually decided not to learn him. But now that Extend is actually here, I can't help myself but to want and play him as my sub again. And with that, GET HYPE NA PLAYERS!

Does anyone else want to run the combo thread for Extend? I'm going to be super busy in the Painwheel forums when Skullgirls hits and I don't know if I'll have the time to try and run two combo threads, while maintaining all of the other threads in the Painwheel section, and working on the wiki. If no one else wants to, I can make the time to do it, but it'd be nice if someone was willing to take the load off. Only two more days guys, get hype!

I fought a really good looking Mickey Mouse today, it was a little shocking how it didn't seem that goofy, it was proportionally correct and everything. Other then that, I've seen a HORRIBLE Blanka, and a crappy Ragna.

I love using this, but I always use 5C because it lifts them higher if they decide to block it, making you only just a bit safer.

Starlight, I welcome you to the Viola family. =) It's understandable that you would click with her, due to you playing BlazBlue, a character with lots of gatlings, pressure, mixup options and long combos is a really easy transition. Granted, Viola is quite difficult to learn, she'll still probably feel comfortable for anyone coming from combo heavy games, as well as Z.W.E.I., Yoshimitsu, Siegfried and Xiba.

What ever happened to that rumor of Amy secretly being playable? I know it was far fetched, but everything else that guy said was completely true, and he even showed a small clip of artwork that looked like her hand/sword. Did anyone disconfirm this yet?

@GGJ, they are listed like that so I don't take up extra space that I don't have to, all they have to do is refer to the top of the page and then they know what they are doing. It's only for listings, not for discussing combos. >_> So it stays. @Moy, no one every should be doing it at that range, but if you happen to, that's why the combos are there in the thread, for hit-confirms.

Wow, he's really unsafe. It's going to be really difficult setting up frame traps with him, without using Ignis.

Start throwing in a Barrier Guard and they'll learn to respect it. Once they start eating a punish every time they hit you out of it, they'll just start blocking themselves. Obviously, you still really need to be careful, but you can still incorporate it into your game.

If you truly want to be competitive with Morrigan, you need to learn her j.S loops, and her Soul Fist air combos. They deal the best damage out of everything she does, and they gain a tons of meter. They're very practical, but still hard to do.

I honestly don't like a good bit of them, they have too much contrast in bad areas of the costumes. There are a few that I do like A LOT though. So I'd say he's got some pretty good ones.

That's a really odd change, I'm going to miss having the frame advantage.
