I'm going to see if I have the money for it, I don't like the idea of buying a JP copy and a US copy just so I can play story mode and such, but I don't know if I want to wait another few months to get it. If I can get the JP copy then we could get the threads up and running way before the massive load of players start getting in here. By then we'd have the general discussion, video thread and combo thread and probably a good bit of the technical guide finished by then. The combo thread and technical guide will probably take longer, but I'm sure we could get a lot of it done.

General Discussion - Misc. talk, basically what we do now. This would contain all of the general discussion that would go on in the forum. We could talk about anything here as long as it's within reason. (Tactics, match-ups, characters we hate fighting, characters we enjoy fighting, matches we've had, critiquing, theory fighting, helping beginners, tournaments, etc.) Video Index and Discussion - This will contain all of the videos in a single section, with good organization. We'd also discuss the videos in here and see what we can take from the matches. Combo Guide and Discussion - Here we'll keep all of the important/optimal combos in a complete guide listing the different combos/starters/variations with the meter gain and damage as well. This can be used to post/discuss combos and share different findings. Technical Guide and Tutorial - This will have all of the information you need to know about Relius' moves, playstyle, strategies, functions, it'll be the complete breakdown and guide to the character. We can put the video you guys are talking about in here to show the players how he works and what you need to do with a visual guide. F.A.Q. - Self explanatory.

I'm trying to get a scene started close to where I live, hopefully to cater to Gastonia/Dallas/Lincolnton, I'd like it to be in the middle, so everyone can just meet in a central location. It might take a while to find a good place to get it going, but I definitely want it to happen.

No, you can preform Ignis' attacks during Led Ley, he didn't cancel the Ignis call, he did a negative edge (Like Carl) and preformed both moves at the same time.

The damage was indeed pretty crazy. 6C[m] > IAD > j.B > j.C > 5B > 5C(2) > 3C > Tsubame was 4.1K I think, that's WAY too good.

Agreed on that Toasty, the threads we should be looking at in the long run are: General Discussion Video Index and Discussion Combo Guide and Discussion Technical Guide and Tutorial F.A.Q. Which is pretty much the same thing every section has, so we'll be good.

Oh my God, I agree with sG, what the heck is wrong with you people. Discussing tiers in here? Why do you think EVERY SINGLE TIER LIST RELATED THREAD on DL has been LOCKED? Because it's ignorant and useless. Litchi is Litchi, she's going to get close to CS2 damage using multiple 6D's, as we've seen she can still gain a ton of meter in one combo and her Oki is still amazing. ShinShin makes her meterless Oki overall better and it's proration buffs allow for better combos, Litchi is probably going to remain exactly the same tier-wise as she was in CS2 and she's going to remain a solid character. The nerf to 6C[m] does suck, I agree with Mightfo and Fugu, it was already situational and only an alright normal, nerfing it wasn't needed, but it isn't going to effect anything in the long run. Now for the love of God, shut up.

I'm surprised no one is talking about the Relius combo video Jourdal posted, showed off some AMAZING potential using Naiads to extend mid-screen combos.

Thanks man, I play Litchi, mained her since CT. <3 Stanley, it's close to Gastonia. It looks like I'll be going to Rock'em Sock'em on December 10th, so if any of you can make that I'd love to meet and play you guys in BB or UMvC3!

Hey guys, I went down Greenville SC yesterday for G-Vegas Beatdown to compete in BB. And I won! The tournament was SUPER fun and I'm dying to go to another one, so does anybody know of some upcoming tournaments? I heard there was one in Charlotte next week, do you guys have the information for that? Thanks!

I think the Gameplay Discussions should be moved out of the BB/GG General sub-forums, and have the Frame Data moved with it. And then leave BB/GG General with Online Play together.

Or you could explain yourself in a orderly manner and not try to explain things in a lazy way. If you don't want to be mistaken, then don't let yourself be mistaken. I agree with you both though, against an overly aggressive player, Mami can be a good tool because it'll catch them during approach, but it's not safe to use often, or unless you have an RC. Switching between 6A and 2C for anti-airs is one of the biggest things in this matchup, I think. Valk is a very momentum based character, and he's typically in the air quite often, but the different ways he has to approach with the Wolf can make anti-airing him quite difficult for Platinum sometimes. 2C catches cross-ups and fake-outs, 6A catches straight forward approach, and 214D keeps them from taking the highest part of the screen or from running away. Overall it's a fair matchup and it's really based around patience.

I want this extremely bad as well, it's such an awesome idea. I'm assuming the secret character Kazuma, they'll probably show the scene where Relius gets transported back in time after being eaten by the Black Beast and then explain the story between him and Hazama.

God me either, it's going to become such an amazing poke, and it's already pretty freakin' good too.

2C is never a safe option as an anti-air because it's recovery is so bad compared to 6A, however I find that it's vertical hitbox keeps Valk from being able to presume any kind of air approach except for a straight forward C dash. I switch between the two very often, but I get more success with 2C most of the time. Also, Tari, Extend hasn't gotten' any new colors yet, but there might be some as DLC later on, no one knows.

Not yet, it doesn't look too long though. I'm still surprised at how short Ignis' life regain time is, she fully recovers after death in like less then 5 seconds.
