  1. A taunt. Also, all those screenshots have already been seen on 4gamer and the like.
  2. You do know that the games are developed by different studios, do you?
  3. We already have most of the OST, and it has no stage themes. They might've given each character their own stage, but then we're one stage short.
  4. I just checked the Xrd thread, and Max's video really does seem to be the only source on the lack of lobbies. However, the way he mentions it is not that ambiguous: he talked to the devs, and they said that huge lobbies didn't go too well to the point of affecting the netcode. So yeah, I'm not sure why it's still here in P4U. Maybe the netcode is easier to handle with sprites? Maybe they couldn't develop anything else in time? Maybe those lobbies are actually smaller? Anyways, here's the original video with the time stamp: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYxxX_HAmg8&t=3m30s
  5. Well, like I said, I don't recognize her, and I've never watched any story mode footage, so maybe?
  6. Doesn't seem like it has anything that Famitsu doesn't, but at least they denoted some of his normals. Seems like his 5HS is a multi-hit move?
  7. Speaking of SP, I'd like to know its properties for Ken's spear pull.
  8. That article mostly just describes all the playable characters, but there are some interesting tidbits to note. - There's a screenshot showing a Sega NPC that I don't recognize. - There's going to be cross-save between PS3 and Vita (nothing on cross-play, though). - The only console-exclusive mode mentioned is Training, but they say that the fans of the original series should look forward to more reveals. - No mention on whether or not we're getting any more characters.
  9. This statement is loaded even more than my 300-hour Dissidia savefile. I'm very sorry for biting this one. BB and P4U had NO characters to remove and NO established mechanics to simplify before they were released in the West. They were brand-spanking-new. And guess what, they still failed to attract the "average gamer", who still plays CoD, Dota or, if they're actually interested in fighting games, Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. Can we please discuss the voice acting in Zepp Museum now?
  10. The online version of the Sin article is up: http://www.famitsu.com/news/201407/10056767.html I'll translate the main points in a minute. - The article mentions multiple times how great Sin's range is, being able to pressure the opponent from half a screen away. - When his hunger gauge runs out, you're not paralyzed, just can't use any specials. - Other than that, it just describes the moves depicted on screenshots and talks about how powerful and simple the special cancel mechanic is.
  11. Only scrubs post on English message boards.
  12. That's inevitable in a game with such a rich roster. Fighting different characters makes you care about different things, including universal mechanics. Bursting against Nu is not the same as bursting against Noel, Hakumen gets more profit from IBs than Terumi, Tager cares about teching more than Arakune. In Magic the Gathering, different blocks make you care about different cards and different aspects of cards. In one set, you care about a card because it's red, while in the other, you care about it because it's a Goblin. Is it bad design? The game's age and success say otherwise.
  13. That's pretty much how it goes, though it's not as bad as it sounds. Simply barrier-blocking her blockstring should make enough distance for her to whiff sooner or later, at which point she either presses D, spends Heat-Up and resets her pressure, or eats your punish because H0 Drive is negative on block and doesn't go that far. You can also keep in mind that Drive's start-up is vulnerable unless it's charged (the cross-hair on your sprite becomes red), so you can try disrespecting it. For some character-specific tech, Bullet's 5C is a projectile, so you can try Sledging through it, though I'm not sure if you can leave the blockstun in time (5B 5C is a tight blockstring). Basically, since Bullet's mix-ups are relatively easy to react to, you just gotta be patient and watch out for the throws.
  14. Because we can never get nice things. But really, I don't know what decisions like this are even based on.
  15. We can still hope for BGM DLC.
  16. Why do you guys consider yourselves better than these casuals, again?
  17. Took me a while to watch this episode, but it actually had its bright moments even while they weren't talking about TNTN and TKB. That music popularity poll, for instance: even though none of my votes got into top 8, it had its fair share of surprises, like Childish Killer being the 5th most popular BGM in the game. Bet no one even expected that, unlike Gluttony Fang getting the gold. And of course, making fun of normalfag Koyama was nice, too. By the way, Sugita's taste in kancolles does not match with mine, which means that it's bad. EDIT: Oh, and it gave me the best GG vs BB image I could ask for.
  18. Mah boy, that world is what all true game designers strive for.
  19. You say that as if XX and the rest had no balance issues.
  20. The notes say that Ken's 236A/B only pulls the enemy in on hit, but I remember seeing him pulling the enemy on block, too. Has that been changed, or it's just a misunderstanding?
  21. Meanwhile, in EU... Then why would Aksys know anything about it? They're the ones who localize the game, chill.
  22. Nope, nothing about the number of characters, just the date and a short blurb with the info we already know. Well, between this latest roster update and Fall release, they got more than enough time to add more characters for the console version.
  23. Is that yet another Decapre I see?
  24. You say that as if Bullet is the worst character in the game, and that makes me die a little inside.
