Weird that they got Imperator's theme there, even though all the themes you can choose are either battle themes, OPs or EDs. -
This might be something that I just missed in CP 1.0, but apparently you can 720 by spinning the stick once in Training mode, though I can only do it after resetting the position. Since I couldn't reproduce it in any other way, it's probably useless, but I was kinda excited for a moment.

The descriptions say that Miyuki can use her skills to freeze her opponent at great distance, Taiga uses items such as microphones and sleds to deliver powerful blows (kinda like Shizuo?), Tatsuya can seal his opponent's abilities with Decomposition, and Ryuuji can either heal you by bringing you a bento or attack the enemy with a mop. -

Miquelet still does more damage (975 raw rather than 650), it's just that it doesn't deal 1500. Some damage frame data was already pretty ridiculous, it's just that no one paid attention to it when you could just run the game and do it in the lab. I feel like going 2B 5[C] is worth a try to punish mashing, since 2B got 16 frames of hitstun, so all non-DP moves are too slow to come out.

Oh, they even flip the character's nametag for player 1, which I suppose means that the portrait, the life gauge and the nametag come in a single file. All things considered, it looks more boring than bad, though those two things are usually not too far away from each other.

It lasts for the move's entire duration, though it doesn't last as long when the opponent is close to you. Still, it should be enough to run away from the orb and even grab Kagura if he jumps. The only way for him to screw you over is to crouch and make Miquelet whiff.

And I just got used to going 2B 5B 5C... The new invuls on Miquelet and 3C feel wonderful, especially when paired with the Miquelet damage buff. 5[C] even moves you far enough to hit the opponent right at the beginning of the round. Yeah, its 19 frames of start-up make it lose to any button press, but who the hell pushes buttons at the beginning of the round? I thought you could gatling into 5[C], but it seems to be more of a neutral/blockstring tool right now. This indirectly nerfs most of Bullet's combos, but that's just 50 damage less. 2C > 5C is nice, but I'm not sure how much it matters right now: to be honest, I didn't expect everyone to be so hype about it (but then again, I'm just a scrub). jB > j. A doesn't seem to be that important, since even ending aerial combos with it is difficult because of the hitboxes. And the new red aura looks so, so pretty.

Bullet: - 5D/j.D P1 proration decreased. - 5C proration decreased (5[C] has the old proration). - 5[C] moves Bullet farther forward (or 5C doesn't move her as far as it used to, can't really check it now).

Caved in and ordered a copy, hope I'm not too late. I assume I wasn't supposed to write down my favorite character in the order? Well, even if I was, I suppose it's nothing that can't be fixed with a couple of e-mails.

I didn't expect it, but the trailer is actually out. Gotta love how they went out of their way to show that you can actually jump over your opponent now.

I'd say that the game's simplicity makes it easier to get to the high-level stuff sooner. Because there aren't that many combos to be learned, and most of them don't require strict timing, you quickly pass the "Die to your own inputs" phase and get to the juicy "Outsmart your opponents" phase. It's come to my attention that characters in this game actually don't have the same amount of health. Well, most of them do, but there are some exceptions. The following characters receive 1/5 less damage: - Luffy - Gon (Ken / Defensive aura) And these characters receive 1/5 more damage: - Goku - Sasuke - Ichigo - Gon (Kou / Offensive aura) My guides should still be fine, but you guys might want to double-check your damage values if you've been practicing on these characters. -

Huh, surprised that Jesus Tatsuya is just a Support. I've got a feeling that they won't be the only characters to be added, since there is also the Black Bullet anime series going on right now. And of course, the hope for Horizon characters never dies. -

I feel that the 3D animation makes it seem a bit sluggish, though that might as well be because of the players' performance. We'll see how it goes over the weekend. And the fans of the series can probably deduce more characters from that silhouette shot at the end. -
