She's on top of my wishlist, too, though I wouldn't mind if she had a different playstyle. Having huge gloves doesn't mean that you have to grab people, after all. -

Nope, I'm x32. I wonder if they're going to fix it later down the line, or I should just upgrade.

The game is up and running, but I can't even download it, since Steam only gets 142 mb of nonsense instead of about 2 gigs of the proper game. No idea how it turned out to be this way, but I'd actually like to try the game out, even though the Gundam players are tearing it a new one.

I realized that I pre-ordered the Vita version of the game, so I won't be able to play with people unless there's cross-play or I spend even more money on the second copy. Or unless I'm not the only one who got it on Vita, which is unlikely

Huh, we now have Arcana-specific achievements rather than the character-specific ones? At least I won't have to break my fingers to dust by trying to do the Akane one. Also, beating Parace is only a bronze trophy? Hahaha

Let's see, here are the pros and cons of this decision for me: + There is clearly a lot of people who are passionate about these games here, meaning that the subforums won't be dead on arrival. + Out of all major fighting game message boards, Dustloop is the one that cares about them the most. + Both games are well-supported by their developers, meaning that they won't suddenly die from the lack of updates. - The competition between fighting games is heavy nowadays, so even with all the information floating around, people might prefer to attend bigger and more popular tournaments instead. - Accepting these games as "Dustloop territory" would mean Dustloop's first voyage beyond the ASW franchises (Skullgirls got in thanks to Mike Z, and even then, it didn't last long). - More subforums means more work for the admins and moderators, even if it might not bear any fruit. For me, the pros outweigh the cons, but I realize that simply voting for these forums doesn't require much effort. I believe that there are better ways of showing your support for this decision, be it updating the wikis, having offline meet-ups or simply discussing the games in their respective threads. Basically, I'm going to be one of the people who might use these subforums, but probably not the one who's going to contribute that much to them. If an opinion of someone like that still matters, then we should've had these forums made a long time ago, but then again, I'd say the same thing about Aquapazza and lots of other games. -
And then I actually read that news announcement... Makes you wonder how one could translate this otherwise.

Both of them look so, so sweet. I wish they revealed some stuff about their gameplay, but their new looks are enough for me to reconsider my character loyalty.

How can one be even less consistent than Bullet? Unless you're Arakune or something.

I must say, they've been doing a pretty good job at recognizing their mistakes and giving people what they want so far. They've lowered the goal to 275k (though it's still unlikely that they're going to reach it), and might lower it even more if they don't get funded this time. They've shown some screenshots of actual in-game graphics, and it looks much closer to actual fighting games than blurry cartoon. And they removed the unlocking aspect of custom movesets, making it closer to SFIIIS and the like. They even posted a whole laundry list of mechanics they might implement, and most of those sound more cohesive than their Gas-Clutch thingamajig. All that said, the devs are still as... eccentric as they've ever been, and one might wonder why most of those mistakes were even made in the first place. But for now, my attitude went from "I couldn't care less" to "I might check this out when it's out".

She does, I just didn't mention it in that summary because it's so obvious. She also fights with baseball bats and school desks. -
After some casual fights with my brother, I feel that 5B 6A mix-up is nearly worthless, since the opponent tends to barrier-block you a lot (both because of Bullet's general pressure-heavy playstyle and the threat of tick 720). Therefore, by the time you gatling 5B into 6A, you're out of 6A's range to land it. I suppose what I'm asking here is, how do I discourage opponents from barrier-blocking? Just wait till they run out of barrier gauge?
