I'll post my matches, too, even though I look hella free here. There are some obvious mistakes that I've already realized by myself here, but feel free to comment even on those. We're all getting used to brand-new characters, so silly mistakes are to be expected, right? http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVyPvLn8SrUpg63u5ykcyReou39a5VUzt I'll post more when a friend of mine records them from his replays, I play a bit better there. EDIT: Uploaded more matches, now in a playlist.

[Xrd] News & (Theoretical) Gameplay Discussion

Oh, so it's written "Wandering Doctor Faust" on Faust's paper bag. That's... kinda bland, but also means that his bag is custom-made. That's some dedication to hiding your identity, alright. And his door teleport leads to America? -
It would help if you guys elaborate on your doomsaying here, since this thread is supposed to help people understand the match-up. I haven't met any Kokonoes yet, so I don't see any reason to panic.

BuruRaji D - BlazBlue Radio Discussion [The new season!!]
SoWL replied to kosmos badgirl's topic in Zepp Museum
Huh, it took them this long to have an SnK reference, even with Sugita having a role there. Speaking of references, Sugita is still a KoF bro, and I want a Stroheim Kokonoe palette. Chibi-Selica's eyes scare me. They're round, empty, and only look at a single point. Or maybe she was just fascinated by the chibi version of the Spectacles of Eros scene on the table. -
Her anime palette is Horo/Holo/Korbo from Spice & Wolf, and her Persona palette is Ulala from P2.

Because I still haven't seen it done in .gif form anywhere: http://i.pixs.ru/storage/4/9/8/platinum41_1676037_9643498.gif

So just because the episode didn't show Ragna returning and taking his sword, even though it's the only possible explanation, it's a mistake on the writer's part? Might as well call a mistake showing Ragna return to Kagutsuchi - after all, it didn't happen on-screen! I realize that the anime has some slip-ups here and there (like showing the hung phone while Hazama is talking over it), but this sounds like hatred out of habit to me.
-
Well if you have a better explanation, be my guest. But seriously, them having to walk back to Kagutsuchi after the sudden Rachel teleport felt a bit dickish on her part.
-
He walks back to the hot springs, awkwardly picks it up and curses Rachel a hundred more times for teleporting him so far from the city and not having the dignity to teleport him back.

It took me this long to notice that the "Currently in loketest" signs are gone from all the stages. Too bad, that was a nice touch. And Potemkin still has the heart effect on Heat Extend, even though he wears mecha-gloves. -
Being underwater and sat on kinda justifies such face, don't you think?

My brother tried clearing it with Terumi, got quite a few perfects and Distortion Finishes, but still was about 170k short... before the game gave him the Clear bonus of 300k, which was more than enough to get the required score. And so we got it after the first try. [/blog]

They also had less stuff to translate, though. On the other hand, I have no idea when exactly they begin working on the localization before the JP release (at the very least, some voice acting is already done).

Watching P2 Faust's intro made me realize that his model isn't flipped, since I can still read his clothing text fine. Or they only flip the text: I think I've seen something like that on some P4U sprite rips. That said, the full text on Faust's back is "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine.", and his shoulder screws read "Stimulation". Couldn't catch the text on his paper back, but the fact that it's upside down is a nice touch. And Slayer's stage has a lot of weird stuff going on, like a window frame (?) clipping through Sharon, or a huge red ghost in the right corner of the screen. -
I suppose everyone agrees that Aristobule deserves a GG medal for providing Xrd loketest videos two times in a row for us.

AFAIK, there are no official Ringedge 2 specs for now, but the unofficial ones seem to be about on par with PS3. In any case, the main reason behind Xrd's good looks is the style, not processing power, polygons or anything like that, so there's no reason to suspect that PS3 won't be able to handle it. -

Or maybe both versions are going to be arcade-perfect, you know, since UE3 is geared towards PS3 and its generation? It's not like the PS4 version needs any reason to be bought over the PS3 one besides being on a different platform with different online options. -
Another week, another episode. - Tager is finally introduced to the viewer and promptly dropped onto Kagutsuchi. - HOT SPRINGS EPISODE! Ragna and his harem are teleported to the hot springs, where everyone has a good old gag ending moment. - Ragna lashes out on Noel for her usage of Bolverk and associations with Saya. - Rachel reminisces about Ragna getting his Grimoire. - Ragna picks up Platinum and gets to meet all three people inside of her. - The episode ends with Kokonoe teleporting Lambda Lambda to Ragna's location. Weird gag route aside and Trinity being introduced way too soon, I didn't have any qualms about this episode, I guess.

Man, I love Faust's new animations so much, even his 5P is now a tsukkomi slap. And speaking of animations, Axl's Bentengari still has the image of Benten appearing, and it's actually easier to see now, since it persists for a bit longer. I tried reading the text on people's clothing, but could only make out "Settle with elegance" on Venom's gloves and "A merry heart ??? good like a medicine" on Faust's back (who also has some text on his shoulder screw thingies). -

[Xrd] News & (Theoretical) Gameplay Discussion

Note that it's probably Colony, not Japan - that one was destroyed long ago, remember? -
Note that Bullet's non-super command grab completely whiffs on crouchers, so that's one less mix-up to worry about. That is, unless she goes for the aerial mix-up with 6C (hit you with the ankle move, jump-cancel it, then either perform an air normal or land and go for the low/grab). I'd say that Rachel is slightly more mobile than Bullet, even with both of their Drives in the picture. Basically, Rachel can go wherever the hell she wants, while Bullet can only get in or standby. Abuse this mobility, don't let Bullet to Afterburner, and you should be fine.
-
I'd like to note that a lot of Bullet's moves are invulnerable to projectiles. This is especially scary in her H2 state, where it takes so little time to make her Drive invulnerable. She can't do it if you're out of her circle of doom, though, so try to make her whiff it, wait until she cools down, or catch her while she's trying to Afterburner.
-
This is a weird request, so I guess this thread is the best place for it: does anyone have a screenshot of Bullet flying at the enemy with her Drive? I might make it into an avatar, and it doesn't seem like we're getting the sprite rip anytime soon.
