eirei, is it alright if you translate the two Belial Edge lines for Ragna? I want to see if the way I translated it is accurate or somewhere near.
-
Dacid's too poor to be anywhere in spirit.
-
Reaction time doesn't apply to frame advantage.

Jin + ☆6Aガードさせて有利。直ガで5分? + 6A is better on guard, I don't think this is anything new. Noel - ☆通常投げがキャンセル不可 - Cancelling forward throw is inadvisable (maybe prorates a lot, someone verify) Taokaka - ☆DEすべてに同技乗算付加 - DE (Tao's drive, probably) has same move proration (scratch one more for Tao's grave) Arakune - ☆JBの攻撃レベル減少 - j.B attack level reduced Carl + ☆ブリオが完全空ガ不可に戻る + Brio went back to being the perfect anti-air? (someone verify) Makoto + ☆2B>5Bのガトリング追加(再度2Bは無理) + ☆デンプシーロールが空中受身不能に + 2B > 5B gatling added (can't input 2B again) + Dempsey Roll (214AC~?) can be used to catch aerial tech (someone verify)

Spirit Juice has tamed the thread. Now I can sleep in peace. Hopefully there are some changes that are worth translating/looking at tomorrow.

As I learned when I was in TGS, it's common courtesy and against game company rules to have unauthorized footage of an unreleased game. ASW probably has big NO CAMERAS or NO CAMCORDERS signs on the machines, so don't expect any good footage of the loketest.
-
Now guys, let's decide what happens to Belial Edge in THIS loketest before trying to figure out what happened in the previous ones
-
I must've considered "fully invincible" to be "invincible fo all of yo framez" instead of "invincible fo all yo bodeh pahts" It's probably still going to be super hard to predict Counter Assaults in CS2 though, what with the startups on most of them. To block it you'll actually have to yomi it, which I believe very, very few of us can actually do.
-
It's not fully invincible, otherwise people would not be able to punish it. It's only invincible during startup and active frames if I recall correctly. The recovery in CS1 was fairly quick considering the blockstun, but now in CS2 that'll change.
-
Are you talking about the startup invincibility gap? If I recall correctly, the only thing that changed about Counter Assaults is the hitstop, which allows for an easier punish. Otherwise, it's the same old same old. Meaning it probably has the same invincibility attributes. The second line slightly makes sense now.

Ragna - ベリアルエッジの角度が鋭くなりコンボで融通が利きにくく - ベリアルエッジの初段が一回後ろに下がるモーションがつきさらに当てにくく - Belial Edge's angle is "sharper" (maybe more downward angle), combo flexibility is not effective (not a good combo option probably) - (no idea on this one, maybe Belial Edge's first hit falls behind, and the motion afterwards doesn't connect? someone verify on this) I don't like how Ragna's starting to look.

If we drink for the nerfs everyone's getting, there'd be drunk sex everywhere.

And before anyone asks, no, I'm not trying to suck up to get the Translator award.
-
That's because Google Translate uses definitions from dictionaries, which I am using for my translations. The dictionary I'm using (www.jisho.org) does have strange meanings behind some words, but at least it's more accurate than fucking Google Translate. Plus, fighting game terms are used, so whether I use Google Translate or a dictionary, the words are figurative. I won't get what I'm looking for through the dictionaries the same way I won't find the meaning behind the term "crossup" in an American dictionary
-
But I don't use Google Translator, otherwise I'd get comments talking about my e-peen when it's talking about priority.

It's not over till it's over, who's the fucker who said it was

From these last few pages, I can tell that my unestablished job is done... GOOD NIGHT AND GOOD DAY TO YOU ALLLLL Overestimating your own pride ftw~
-
Why would you ever want to use its invincibility anyways
-
Edited the post just in case you didn't see it

Well, eirei's way of explaining it was better: It works a lot like Carl's Cantata. If an opponent hits Tsubaki right on 236236D's super freeze, the crest will show, the charge gauge will deplete to zero, but the move won't come out. In other words, it's actual massive LOLZ.
-
Yes.
-
Figured out what this means. First paragraph talks about bonus proration being removed. Talks about how it affects Carl's 2D and Noel. Second paragraph talks about the change in gravity. It's not Lambda language (not gravity seed). Moves like Inferno Divider and Air Lobelia fall faster. Kinda stylish. In other words, nothing new.
-
I didn't translate them, but from the looks of things I don't think I would have gotten an accurate translation. (first sentence talks about bonus, but I'm not sure if it refers to guard bonus or not, such and such)
-
Follow eirei's translation, he's approved so he's a lot more credible than me. Tsubaki j214 bounces off opponent on block, harder to be counterattacked. j214D is mid, was high in previous loketest. 2C has less upper-body invincibility. You can get hit out of it before it even comes out. Still a strong move. 6A has less proration. 236236D lost invincibility. Uses up meter and shows superflash before the move actually hits.

CSII's just a storm of ups and downs, huh. For the most part during translating I just thought Pachi was screwing with us
