Polka, Spark and I had a discussion for how the guard notations are made, and I thought it might be a good idea if we change the notation for it. The way it's listed now, it's a tad confusing since B notates that the move must be air barriered, although it wouldn't make much sense. The way the frame data's listed now, all aerial normals would require air barrier to block, and none of the ground normals would need it. I propose a system like this: H: block high (on the ground) L: block low (on the ground) A: block in the air So if Rachel's 5B is HL, it means that it can be blocked high or low on the ground, but since it does not have an A, it cannot be blocked in the air (in other words, it's air unblockable). Rachel's j.A is HA, which means that it can be blocked high or in the air, but not low since it doesn't have an L. Just a thought.

Technically, "nokezori 14F" would translate to in our terms "14F hitstun on ground" or "14F standing hitstun." Although nokezori literally translates to "bend back," in fighting game terminology it is usually used to refer to hitstun (in BB's case, on the ground since in the air that's covered by 受身不能時間 or untechable time). As for gatling tables (or anything in the mook needing translation) I'm down to help.
-
Can't really confirm that since it's not listed in the mook, but... Gimme a few minutes and I can look up some japanese sites to find the input. EDIT: Source indicates that Voltec Charge is indeed 214D.
-
Confirmed that 214C is -5. :/

Error on my part. The correct translation is that Macto Maledictis allows you to use D moves without using up install gauge.

Just to remind those that are involved in the translation project, if Jewdo does not post by the time I access my computer tomorrow, I will send my translations of both the Noel and Tsubaki frame data to shtkn. This will mean that Jewdo will receive no credit for doing the frame data translations (unless someone objects to this). If any of you, and I mean ANY OF YOU have any objections, please post or forever hold your peace. EDIT: Frame datas sent. However this does not mean that the frame data will be available right away; shtkn has the choice of taking it or waiting for Jewdo's rendition of his, either of which is fine by me.
-
Maybe. I don't know how long shtkn takes to work on the tables, but I'm guessing all the information's in the tables already; right now it's a matter of formatting the tables to look neat like Valk's. How long that will take I'm not so sure.

Makoto frame data done. Now to wait for Jewdo.

Ragna can already do over 4k in the corner You can probably use BK after using 6C. It seems to be the staple BK combo starter anyways. If the BK combos are done right, he can grab at least 5k.

If both Ronove and/or Jewdo don't post by the end of Thursday, I'm taking over their jobs, if that would be alright with everyone. Next week I'm gonna be busy so if I'm going to do any translations now would be a good time.

Chicken blocking is alright to a certain extent. It may be alright to use against bad players, but not necessarily against good players. Personally, I air throw chicken blockers, and depending on how good the person is that I'm fighting against (such as if they tech the air throw or not), that shit can lead into some respectable damage on my part as well as some oki to work with.

Jin frame data done, will start on Hazama's tomorrow. EDIT: Hazama frame data done.
-
If it's not too much of a problem, I can take the Jin frame data.

shtkn, you can probably remove the quotations from the frame advantages. As long as what you're using isn't Excel to input the numbers into the tables, there shouldn't be any problem with it. As for the sign, it was supposed to be a plus or minus sign (±) but I'm figuring again that Excel just loves to fuck up. You should probably change it so that it doesn't confuse people or whatever. As for consistency, I notice that Ragna's frame data notes don't follow the format for my latest frame data translations (in terms of wording). I could probably send you another file if that's not too much of a hassle.

Will do. Expect it sometime tomorrow.

Sorry to triple post, but if it's alright with you rtl, would it be alright to translate (or at least help) the last two system pages?

Carl frame data sent. Now to go see what other characters are available-oh wait I would totally take the other people's jobs but they probably wouldn't be happy with that Hurry up you slowpokes :<

I would stick with CH state personally, but then again it's my preference. :/
-
Valkenhayn frame data sent. Gonna go translate Carl's when I have spare time.

Your definitions for nokezori and yarare seem to be right, on terms of how they work in the mook. Nokezori is ground hitstun, while knockback is how far the characters are pushed back after an attack. I'm going to take a guess with 被カウンターヒット状態 and say that it refers to the character's counter hit state. The first kanji 被 is used in the column category for CH state in the character mook pages, and 状態 can be translated as "state." If we look at it this way, we can then distinguish between the two phrases.
