  1. ^I remember noticing the 12 on Mu's forehead thing, I was like "i c wut they did thar" and started to look for 11 on Lambda... Just got home from turkey day vacation out of town, any games planned for this week? Can't wait to get my scrubby Dizzy beaten up on.
  2. Thanks. I tried to find the Deal With It dog's sunglasses by themself, but I couldn't find anything good on Google so I just drew on some black shades with my MS Paint skillz. I play entirely on stick on both consoles now, but when I played on the 360 controller, I found just using the analog stick most comfortable. Dashing takes getting used to, and I had a lot of trouble with DP inputs. I've heard of some people who play switching between the pad and stick (pad for dashing/iad'ing, and stick for other inputs) though, and even others who can stomach just using the d-pad.

  4. I don't know if it's similar to Lambda's timing, but this is how I learned the timing for Mu: Look at when Mu turns her face back to the side after the throw. It's just a little bit after the throw damages the enemy and they start falling. That's when you should input the dash 6A. After that just get it into muscle memory.

  6. You can't place and detonate a stien in the same combo (unless off Fatal), 214D will only combo if a stein was already placed before. Though apparently, in CS2 we will be able to 5D 214D normally. If you're having trouble with grab dash 6A, then for now try "grab, dash 5B, 6A, JC j2C, land dash 2B, 5C, 6C...". You get to practice dash 2B and get 6C oki. It also works on everyone with no timing issues.

I make a lot of executional mistakes like trying to 6D 236D, and just getting 236D (durr), or trying to DP and getting 6C (super DURR), if you were wondering what those were.
  8. D-Pad means you can use the directional inputs to affect the command, like how you can move Millia's orb thingie.
  9. I'm guessing their idea is that even though overall damage outside the corner is decreased, the system changes like guard crush, pushing to the corner, more solid pressure, and going into danger mode more often will make the game faster in the end. At least, that's how I'd hope it turns out...

  11. Remember to always land on the ground first before you enter the "dash 2B". Any specific combos you're having trouble with it in? Also if it's after "6A JC j2C" I find it easier if you catch them high up with 6A (like their sprite is above yours when 6A hits them).

  15. So this means j214D is no longer an overhead? This "mid" and "high" stuff kind of confuses me.
  16. Dec 9 is when CS2 gets released for arcades. So hopefully the 2.0 patch gets released around that time. So j2C is unchanged. Mu's gonna be pretty beast. =)

  22. I wonder if this means SoD wallbounces at level 1 now? This would give us more options. Like maybe "...SoD, dash 6A, 2C, 6C" or something.
  23. We'll definitely have to make up new combos once the patch hits. I'm kind of worried how her max damage will end up with no more corner loops, no more pickup off the ground after j2C, or 6A/6B juggles. Sword of Decimation and the faster steins will probably play more of a part in combos. Edit: And 236A too apparently.
