That B/C air unblockable stuff sounds very interesting =D Some more Mu stuff, correct if wrong: -Second part says 3C untechable time is increased, not sure what the first part is about -Ama no Habaya (this is...214D... right?) now hits 5 times, untechable time increased -2B reach increased (!) -6B reach decreased (...) -j2C techable (already known)
  2. This would be cool. CH GH combos are very decent damage now, so maybe GH will become a good "air punish" move or something.
  3. Yeah I'm overreacting a little. Just since it's the "FINAL LOKETEST" I get a bit worried...
  4. So we already had poor mixup, now we have no oki or combos...is Mu going to become some sort of guard crush character or something? What exactly does Arcsys want her to play as? Edit: Just read the loketest thread again, 3C 2B IS BACK WHOOHOO So now we basically lost the knockdown and combos from j2C...still WTF but at least there's some hope. With the changes to guard primer/guard crush proration, this nerf might not be so bad.
  5. So loketest 4 is upon us...and j2C is techable. How are we supposed to do anything? =(
  6. O_O weird... Crossing fingers for Mu's 3C to be untechable again. Reading the entry there, it says something about Gauntlet Hades...it says it's been increased? buffed? My Japanese isn't that good... It also says Makoto's dash speed has been decreased (?!) and some other stuff about her.
  7. So I just got raped by Banzatou; what's a good strategy against a Rachel with really good spacing and pressure? I hardly had any time to space myself or set anything up, his Rachel was already in my face from the start...once I got in the corner I get stuck blocking forever. Is there any way to punish her lobelia pressure in the corner? It seems like Lambda, she can get me in a "sweet spot" where I'm threatened by 6B, tiny lobelia, and sword iris, and if I try to jump out I just get air pressured or grabbed. DP won't reach and lol Mu Counter Assault. This is probably the hardest part of the matchup for me.
  8. Whenever I try this I always get COUNTER'd, but maybe I'm not doing it fast enough.
  9. It says "this video is private" =( And thanks, is that the replay I put up lol? Haha, I was so satisfied when I finally beat him, his mashing got on my nerves.

  10. Try to do it as fast as you can (buffering the inputs during 6A) and make sure you go up (for the jump cancel) and down (for the j2C) in one quick motion.

If you need a bit of a visual cue for the dash links: Dashing from throw: When Mu turns her face back to the side Dashing from Sword of Decimation: After Mu puts the sword away Dashing from 214D whiff: When the circle underneath Mu disappears Dashing 2B: When Mu lands on the ground If you want to try a more lenient throw combo that sacrifices some damage for better oki: Throw, dash 5B, 6A, JC j2C, dash 2B, 5C, 6C, oki/SoD/632146C
  12. Oh did we? What character did you play? If you want, we can continue this in visitor messages so we don't clog up the Mu general thread. Edit: Oh now I remember! You were that awesome Rachel. GGs, my friend and I were all really impressed and stuff lol. I loved that guard crush into lvl 3 j2C combo.
  13. One day my friend was like "dude have you seen the videos of this new fighting game BlazBlue? It's by the same guys who made Guilty Gear!" and I was like *rushes to preorder* The tutorial DVD that came with the game really helped me get into it, and finally play a fighting beyond the button mashing level.
  14. Ooh okay, I thought the frame advantage was enough to magically protect me from mashing...time to mix it up then.
  15. So about the 2B crossunder. I'm having problems with people mashing 2A to get out of it; which I thought they couldn't do because of the frame advantage. Does this mean I'm mistiming it?
  16. Is there a specific timing for the jD (whiff) in all of the Blood Kain combos? Finally trying to have it my way and getting stuck on that part of the combos.
  17. When you put it that way, it makes sense. Maybe these changes will make the game faster in the end. I lol'd. I only play Rachel when I want to hate life, but maybe that does have something to do with it. This game does have a lot of zoning characters.
  18. Isn't this game slow enough already? =( Won't removing combo options make the game even slower? Can't count how many timeouts I've had in this game; I never remember getting a timeout in CT.
  19. Seriously. Here's hoping they figure out what to do with her in the next loketest. Really happy to see Rachel back though. I dunno who this "Rachel" in CS1 is, she's obviously an imposter.

  21. =O Mu's gonna be scary now... I like the way these changes are going, starting to get hype for CS2.
  22. So, what's the point of all the techable sweeps? I can't claim to "get" fighting game design so maybe someone else who's more knowledgeable can help me understand what Arcsys is trying to do?

  25. =( =( =( How do we do combos/set stuff up now? Like what the heck. Can't really combo off of her overhead, and every other midscreen option is just to push them away and set up orbs...exciting. Edit: Actually, how do we even go for corner loops if they can tech 3C...I dunno, maybe there's just something I'm not getting here. It's not like Mu's heat gain is that great to burn up RCs to do "real" combos.
