  3. what l read was 'besides laMP there has never been a fighting game focused on zoners', when touhou as a whole has a few of them. eh it doesn't really matter anymore.
  4. it's not hard to understand... within touhou exists a few fighting games. those fighting games have all zoners. you said you havent seen a fighting game based on zoners. all i'm telling you is that they exist.
  5. my point was that it's impossible to never be games that are based on zoning chars when there indeed is, quite a few games under the 'touhou' series (and you've played them). it's a paradox. now, if you mean OUTSIDE touhou as a whole, then (maybe) not.
  6. most/every touhou game is just full to the brim with projectiles, that's a rather large selection right there.

  8. assuming both players are fullscreen: is there any area that bugs wont hit if, say, the kune player pressed all the bugs at one time?

  15. l don't know how easy haku's is lol. l don't read about astrals l just happened to see it today. edit: rachel's is really hard to land outside of corner oki with george, pumpkin and at least two wind. midscreen or outside a setup its pretty much impossible. wind barely moves the foe unless theyre in the air. just keep backdashing
  16. litchi's is easy, any combo that has her do ippatsu a she can just press d and the astral will connect. it's really fast too, you can punish certain thing if you pre-emptively jump on the staff

  18. the command grab is her most dangerous option in pressure, it kinda reminds me of tsu's 22d in that it needs quite a bit of conditioning. she has answers for every scenario, it's just an rps scenario most of the time. will they upback? downback? dp? you have to be spot on as her pressure is very unforgiving atm. OMC will be the glue to keeping the foe on their toes as it gives her two chances to mixup. in this regard, she has a unique form of mixup that looks really fun. in terms of downback, grab/pressure reset works. for upback, bufu is air unblockable. 2c beats the dodges(rolls?) and mashing, and she's usually out of range for dp's. that's the general gist so far.

  20. yes. barrier block works too. there are a limited number of patterns (like 3) and once you see the first movement it becomes apparent which pattern is being used
