  1. Ahh ok. Thank you very much.
  2. I don't have a twitter. Is it on YouTube or daily motion or anything besides twitter? Or Facebook. I can look for it myself I just would like to know what his channel could possibly be if it is on yt or somewhere please. If not I can wait because she does come out in 24ish hours. Have seen exactly 0 videos of her so far.
  3. Testament could pass for a woman in the first game. The first trap I've ever seen in my life, no pun intended. He's more manly now but first timers will still wonder why the man is wearing such a long dress with heels, long hair, and a training bra.
  4. So people have gotten to see and play her already right. Does she move fast or slow both in the air and ground? Also do her normals look decent for poking or is she screwed in this department? She has a long vertical attack, does she have a long horizontal one that can be used in neutral? And how useful does her persona look for whatever Marie's gameplan is at the moment (which besides changing the weather to suit her needs, I assume is a sort of trap/zoning/lockdown hybrid)?
  5. Fine for me. Dunno maybe you should check your playstation. Unless it has happened to other people by now?
  6. marie comes out tomorrow right? probably asked a thousand times but i'd like to know, is she free or do we have to pay for her? tired of these low tier chars, I need a top tier weather changer.

    [CP] Rachel vs. Jin

    replies inside.
  8. it may or may not track, from what i'd heard. if it does it needs fatal recovery, because she would have potent fullscreen mixups.
  9. not really new...

    [CP] Rachel vs. Jin

^it is, and it is really good in neutral too, along with great synergy with his other attacks. it is one of his most dangerous moves if not the most dangerous. without pumpkin out this matchup has to be tread carefully at midrange because rachel can't just throw moves or move around due to her airbag clothes. sometimes just holding 4 is best. screws with 5c, 2d and 2a spacings which can get you out when combined with ib. you must ib: 6b, 2d to risk an escape, the rest can be barriered mostly, but these moves have no true options, only + frames. 6a most jump ins, ib 236x and you should be fine, watch for sneak 214d. he's not hard, it's his -options- and consistent damage that makes this difficult. you're kinda playing rps in his favor midrange, and your favor further away. up close it either's game. midrange is most commonly played though because it is easy for jin to get here in this matchup, which makes this matchup slightly jin's favor.
  11. I need to see this too. He was a great mitsuru. Jc moves her back a bit while keeping whatever air options she has left, so it's sort of low committal.
  12. 5cc 5b 6a 4b delay 236a 3c
  13. oh they did, did they. so they fixed those and he still had a bunch. that is interesting indeed.
  14. one that involved a 6d and never went away even on astral/match end, freezing the match, and one which made his drills breakout and touch the sky are two fabulous examples.
  15. amane jb is "good". supposedly his best normal, and he needs it. it isn't an air to air as per this topic. technically, his ja, j6c and j6d are his air to airs and they all suck for the purpose (except j6c from afar. low risk low reward move). his jb has a stupid hurtbox and he can get aa'd by the DUMBEST stuff, it's so sad it's funny. also has weird hitconfirms. if anything, his fabhops are what glue this move and him together, since he needs to be above the foe or diagnally above.
  16. relius ja is ok. just ok. it has an average hitbox, which is ok for a move with it's utility. on one hand you do have to commit to using it. on the other, it is easier for him to use this normal to out-prioritize others in the air. that is because its active frames basically do not go away until recovery. it is why you see relius players use it in IAD fashion, because touching the foe with it either means a combo or pressure in most cases. other ja's dont have this luxury. IAD ja is not the absolute best way to approach but I wouldn't rule it out in the slightest. this is a character who sometimes needs to waste time for resources after all, and on top of that, the hit into pressure or combo bit helps relius alot. plus he has several options to approach with ignis, as well as several ghetto anti airs. he has to anti air like litchi, and that is, choose the best aa for the scenario. it isnt too easy but entirely possible. you know who should be upset about no air to air? amane. makoto. tsubaki. relius is fine
  17. interesting list. after A tier though everyone's strengths are rather similar. mid tier down has a semblance of balance.
  18. All of them are strong. For most of these characters, still strong from the last game. It's no surprise you are having trouble with this lot.
  19. He probably won't quite but will and should be ashamed for awhile. That sort of loss builds character. Or collapses it. Depends in the person.
  20. I just really like the idea of everyone being balanced, unique and viable above all else. Except tager.
  21. Not too useful. They look pretty I guess... They can be disrespected easily. They are at their best when being blocked, I think. You can sort of zone with them in neutral using max range 5b 236a as pseudo pokes I suppose, and on oki if they are respected, can give a semi-free arrow rain but none of this is exactly foolproof or strong and is mostly gimmicky. They don't offer much in the form of combo extension or even damage outside of a select few scenarios, like the one just mentioned. 236b itself, not the notes, is good for oki because it meaties and is safe on block, hit, and I don't think the foe can escape without blocking. It is important to mix this stuff up, I mentioned why in an earlier post. Yeah notes themselves though are extremely underwhelming. I don't flipping understand how these things don't launch the foe on hit. That would make them 2x more dangerous than they are now.
  22. You're not serious right. Besides the fact that I disagree with some of the things you have said in this post, I believe the attack was not necessary. But I do not have the time to deal with you right now. So instead, I'll just agree to disagree.
  23. That was helpful, though I can't help but feel this info would be better suited in a wiki, at least compared to posting it as a strategy. Mainly because it is a rundown on what the character movelist is.
  24. The plan should be simple right now. Gain 100 meter, setup some form of unblockable or other form of outrageous mixup. More or less you have to learn the shadow mechanics. Then use the extremely one dimensional tactic to deal damage. Not win perse, and not even guarantee full damage. But waste all your meter for a chance at 5k. When some characters can get a little less than that meterless. Hope I'm driving the point home. Shadow rise is very likely worse than the original. Worse. Than rise. So that makes her the worst character in the game! (At least for now, and I'm only saying that on the very off chance she gets and IOH that leads into 5k somewhere down the line)

    [UNIEL] Hilda

She has tools to deal with the entire cast IN NEUTRAL ONLY. If you get caught blocking it really doesn't matter too much how good at blocking you are and it is more likely you will lose that round. She Is a midrange zoner and is rather moderate to pick up. Her defense though is super shitty so I must stress you don't want to be caught blocking ever.
