  1. So does Clarice red circle thing regenerate her life? I dunno if it's just me but when she activates her Arcana during the red circle the red chunk of life upon hit looks like it gets refilled. I'm looking to use Zenia though, Burai with no command dash lol.
  2. Shiki isn't crap she's actually pretty decent but Purify will elaborate on her details. For Asura... he's just too slow for the pace of NGBC (wtf SS speed) despite the fact he can actually do damage out of some hits. Poke with 5A, 2A or 2B. 2B hit confirms to 1C B spike to get them out of your face for robinhood goodness. When close I'd recommend using D since it pops out fast and links to 4D, 6D which doesn't knockdown but at least opens abit of gap to get away. Abuse his jumping C since it covers a wide range, quite fast and might get you a Close B, 5B, 2B, 1C, B Spike, 2141236+B (Thanatos the SDM), makes a decent aa too. He can B spike infinite at the corner but lol it's techrollable. Shielding might come in handy but good luck since it's so punishable on whiff. You're still gonna be robin hood all day though for best chances of survival. God Helter, you're picking the same characters as me though now I'd rather pick Lee instead of Asura. Are the sticks in Troc working fine? The 2P stick back then I played had a spoiled down direction (like it will function 30% of the time you hit down) so its near impossible to capitalize on hits well.

  4. It depends on how the opponent reacts infact after Bad Moon FRC sticking a jK out will do good as well. A note on 2D roll H disc. At further ranges the opponent can jump from most meaties so use 5K to stuff that or to get them blocking at least.
  5. Ok I'll just sum it up then. I've reached the point where execution is somewhat solid yet in real matches I still lose mainly because I can't get to my offensive momentum so easily. I am getting real matches but at times I'd like to know how to iwork on my game during neutral and defensive situations....
  6. Basically how can I further improve my game when I have reached the point where execution, mixups and tourney nerves aren't much of an issue. The thing is that I notice my play heavily revolves around maintaining the offensive momentum to compensate for not handling neutral/defensive situations well. The thing about neutral situations is like at times I'm not too sure whether that poke I stick out will make the guy block which allows me to cancel to roll and stuff like that. To be honest this is best explained through vids I suppose.
  7. Right I dunno if this really applies to gameplay but this might be relevant.. Basically I thought I have improved over the past few months especially in execution, stopping silly bad habits like random secret gardens LOL and getting over tourney nerves. However in the recent tourney, despite those, I still flopped. There must be something lacking.. it must be lack of consistency, control.. I dunno maybe not handling neutral situations right? Urgh... it's kinda painful to think how much oki went through only to get wasted by some loop of death.
  8. Slayer followed by Jam and maybe OS. There is a gap of difficulty in handling Slayer compared to Jam.
  9. Yeah that's pretty much my current stick. I bought it out of desperation and it's cheap. After playing with this abit and then borrowing a sanwa custom stick, everything felt better in terms of inputs. Well you can still play well with this stick but the sanwa parts just makes it better. Shit needs to get modded. 1 of the buttons (X) is semi busted, so I have to reconfigure starting from L2.
  10. Indeed his speed is something to take note of since Millia can get outmanuevered + he has overall faster normals like his 2D. Add to the fact that he can actually do damage with his bnbs on Millia herself makes him a threat though not as much as Slayer imo. SG does work but there's some guesswork involved in pinpointing his teleport locations or whether he'd IAD. Safest bet is to use a more defensive SG formation.
  11. Hurray I have another set of ranbats.. I could have made it to 3rd but CHIPP. That matchup drives me nuts. His jD eats almost every aa attempt I did (it even goes through 6P ) + coupled with 'triangle jumps' = me a very confused man. Pin doesn't seem to be that useful on him as well.

  13. Right guys any info on how to handle Zappa? There is a Zappa player here but I get pummeled because I simply wasn't sure what to look out for back then. From what I can see this is how some players approach the following spirits:- Sword:- Stay away, get him far away if he gets in, look for gaps via the pin and fully capitalize on em. Dog:- Lure the dog away from him and make it chase but a good Zappa player will at times walk with his dog which then makes it quite difficult to get into him or kill the dog. Ghost:- Have no idea but it seems it is very capable of locking Millia down if he has meter.

  16. Youre gimped in this game when you have a faulty 2 input on the stick damn arcade staff. :V Every hitconfirmed gets wasted as your special followup will become a random factor. Poor Shiki couldn't special cancel into DM last session. :V
  17. What? Are you sure they sound less fierce in AC? OS AC Strum Viper, Rock It (AC version gots more kink to it) and Savage Fang shouts are really powerful compared to his Slash one. I prefer the HWOO HWOO and YEAH YEAH in the AC Sol as well lol.

  23. About the first FRC you can use it to tick your opponent straight to 214H right? Is it worthwhile learning that especially on oki?
  24. Dunno if I'm doing it right but apparently it seems lustshaker itself can be used as some sort of knockdown. Just keep mashing on it after an ADC and they cant tech due to a very low height they fall from. Just don't FB longinus as youll knock them back up where they can tech.
  25. Version 3 was mainly available in c73 but I dunno whether it's commercially available yet since I don't really catch up to it till there are more characters.
