  1. No. Game - Arcade release: console release Calamity Trigger - Nov. 19 2008: June 25 2009 Continuum Shift - Nov. 20 2009: July 1 2010 Continuum Shift II - Dec. 9th 2010: May 10 2011 Continuum Shift Extend - Sept. 2011: Dec. 17 2011 Chronophantasma - Nov. 21 2012: Oct. 24 2013 Of course CS2 and CSE aren't as relevant, but there's usually not such a big gap. For JP versions, it's usually only ~7 months. CP will be 11 months. On a sidenote, localization to NA has mostly been quick. A month or less for all games except CSE (3 months), and CSE's localization seemed to have a lot of hiccups for whatever reason.
  2. Celica's situation is an explicit violation of normal rules, but it does adhere to one thing: the Boundary seems to be involved. I think anytime someone falls into the Boundary or something in it tweaks with the plot shit happens. Relius traveled 70-some years after he fell into the Cauldron* while the Black Beast/Ragna/Nu traveled back in time and Makoto traveled to a parallel universe. I think Hakumen and Terumi's situation is different because Hakumen says it was like they were sealed into the Boundary via a sabotaged Cauldron, whereas Relius/Ragna/Nu used it as a means of traveling across time and space. With Celica, you might be able to explain it by saying that she was essentially copied during her mirror room scene. This "copy" was stored in the Boundary. Kokonoe then fished out here. You still have to fanwank around it but IDK, at least time travel is already established in the series. There are series that have mechanics that hardly make any sense (Evangelion with its "metaphysical biology" comes to mind) but are still beloved. I personally agree with you on Celica's personality. She's just kind of generically nice and sweet with no real flaws. Violent as Nine is, I think she's more interesting than her little sister. Maybe Celica got additional character development during PS2/PS3/PS4 but she's pretty dull in P0.
  3. I was thinking that she was staring at her reflection like in what happened in PS3 (http://imgur.com/Z9LTaGC) because I read it too quickly.
  4. I see. So the mirror room in this case was Kokonoe's doing all along. Well, take your time and good luck. :] If you finish before the console release, fantastic, but if you don't that's fine as well. I'll just be happy to read them.
  5. Although Rachel calls the universe Makoto stumbled into a parallel universe as well, which opens up a can of worms. Maybe Makoto was only going through a "memory" of that timeline? Like a film reel. It's already happened, but its record was "saved" in the Boundary and everybody but Rachel are just specters carrying out a role. Shit I don't know. @spesialo: Wow! Thank you so much! I noticed that the light novels have a project page. Are you going to try to translate most of them? "She recalled that she was certainly in a mysterious white world a little while ago. Then, what she had thought akin to image reflected on mirror somehow became real. And, she was left all alone in that reality." Would it be presumptuous to say that this Celica was that reflection?
  6. We don't see the Black Beast being born in Tager's bad ending, just Ragna's. In Tager's, Tager hears something groaning from a hole in the floor (IIRC the background shows it as pre-DUN DUN DUN DUNNN Cauldron room), looks in it, then the Black Beast pops out and starts eating Arakune. Tager is paralyzed by fear and presumably it eats him too. In Ragna's, they're in the Cauldron room, but they're not really IN the Cauldron. Noel even shows up and the Black Beast likely eats her while Ragna watches in horror.
  7. I don't think Jin was in love with her then. I don't even think Jin is in love with her now but that's just me. In endings that don't have Nu & Ragna falling into the Cauldron, the Black Beast probably retreats once Take-Mikazuchi fires, then Jin jumps in after it. I can only remember Tager's and Ragna's bad endings involving the Black Beast forming outside the Cauldron.
  8. Love didn't really blossom... Tsubaki fell in love with him, but he was pretty cold to her still. Also no, I don't think that will happen. The world is too changed for that to happen--as if Mori would kill off Noel anyway. You mean fanboys and boobs. I doubt female fans buy the bulk of copies anyway. @mAc: I had the impression that Takamagahara resets it after Take-Mikazuchi activates.
  9. To be fair to Jubei wrt Ragna, Ragna is already a teenager by the time he really spends time with him. They meet when Ragna is younger, but apparently Ragna doesn't remember much about him (or his past) so yeah. Can't make an excuse for Luna though lol Kokonoe? Eh. We don't know much about how much of a father Jubei was to Kokonoe. There's a cute picture of him holding the hand of a very young (like 3-5 years old) Kokonoe, so he was probably a good father then! He may have been deeply sorrowful himself during that time--he's lost his entire clan, his country is still wrecked, he's seen at least one good friend go down under the Black Beast and another is in Boundary-limbo, and now his wife is dead. He may have left Kokonoe off with Celica and then hared off to nowhere. When he came back, Kokonoe might have blamed him for abandoning her, for not doing much about her mother's death, and for trying to dissuade her from revenge. Jubei hasn't even talked with Koko for twenty years by the time CS rolls around. I guess Jubei just has a knack for getting stuck with brats with anger issues?
  10. Makoto suggests that they've "gone native." I had the impression that, over the course of two and a half years, the Mutsuki family has begun to sympathize with the Ikaruga refugees and relations between them and the NOL have grown prickly. Of course, that is only an obvious approach. Maybe Kagura wants to rule the NOL himself. Maybe he discovered the Murakumo base bodies beneath Ibukido and wants the power they could bring. Maybe he disagrees with the NOL's approach and wants to remove the Imperator from power. Etc etc.
  11. Jubei is even smaller than that. 123 cm or about 4 foot even. Carl is 144, 4'9. But it's possible they'd change his height like they changed Valkenhayn's, or Jubei will stand taller on his hind legs. Or just make his sprite bigger than how he really is. The world isn't ready for playable Jubei and Kokonoe hasn't finished building her Gundam yet, let's all be patient.
  12. It's not really that annoying. It'll be like CTR is all. It might be annoying if characters get shortchanged though--and I have no doubt some will.
  13. It's fortunate that they opted to not take that to its logical extreme then.
  14. Voices aren't everything to popularity. Amane is voiced by Akira Ishida but I haven't really noticed a ton of Amane art. But the console version hasn't even been released yet and maybe he'll have a really fantastic personality that garners him a lot of fans--even in that situation, I just don't see him getting anywhere close to RGB.
  15. Kagura isn't named Ragna Jin or Hazama, so I doubt he'll be very popular unless he has a fantastic personality. Every other guy gets very little fanart in comparison to those three. Also people (not just fangirls!) will pair anyone with anyone. See the popularity of Bullet/Makoto. Personality is secondary to looks and he feeling of "hey I think these two would look good together."
  16. For all we know their personalities could be completely different. Also...I noticed that many of zephyr07's P0 translations are gone, and kokuujin.blogspot.com has been deleted. Did he delete those posts and his blog?
  17. 1. There may not even be an "original Bloodedge." There's nothing to suggest that there was and even if there was evidence, Kagura only has superficial similarities with Ragna. 2. That's so stupid. Kagura is probably just helping Makoto and Noel out.
  18. They haven't actually. Terumi wears Kazuma's clothes in PS1 and PS3, although they kind of hang off his frame. This Terumi is wearing Hazama's shirt, waistcoat, and tie.
  19. Retcon, Hazama died in a freak accident involving boiling eggs, he only needs to die in order to travel to the Boundary, etc. Take your pick.
  20. Not forever, and it probably wouldn't repair his body.
  21. Time may already be meaningless by that point, since Takamagahara functions on their own timescale. It may be that he was lurking about, waiting for the tiny window of time when Takamagahara was completely focused on Ragna and Mu. Alternatively, it was to wake up the Imperator. Takamagahara is not pleased to learn that he's already woken her up.
  22. It wasn't exactly possession. Kazuma was created by Relius for Terumi. It was a merge. Hazama was fine and dandy after visiting Takamagahara because of the lifelink between him and Noel. You can interpret it as him having to die to visit Takamagahara and not necessarily just to take ghost form, though.
  23. Yes, Relius had to make Terumi a new body. In Wheel of Fortune, Terumi nags Relius about it and Relius says he needs more time. The ghostly effects are puzzling though. Are those--and Terumi's old new look--trying to imply that he's not fully corporeal? If so, how the hell did that happen? CSE implies that he needs to die in order to use his ghostly form. Black Beastified Ragna will be the final boss of the 6H story hahahahahahahaha
  24. Yuuki Katou. He actually totally designed Bullet, Amane, and Tsubaki + did the designs for CP, but Mori did the final drawings.
  25. Jin might get lost on the way to Ikaruga. But no, I was mostly teasing. We have no idea what Jubei wants with Jin. He could be telling him stuff and trying to teach him, or he could just be escorting Jin to Ikaruga. I feel like you're overhyping Jin's moment. That's the point. We are introduced to Jin as a hero--THE Hero of Ikaruga. We learn in short order that he's apathetic, disaffected, is alienated by his family, feels all his renown is empty and worthless, and has like no friends outside of maybe Tsubaki (and he hasn't communicated well with her--he didn't even know she was part of the Wings of Justice). His dignity is a false one. You complain about seeing his true colors but that's how he really is. :S You may find it disappointing, but I just find him more interesting. Jin is a stunted man--both mentally and emotionally--and it's only recently that he's been able to piece himself back together. He's always been nice to Makoto and treats her very respectfully and has never really shown his bad side to her, so of course she's going to respect him. "My brother is suffering in his own private hell." And then something about wanting to save Ragna from this torment--by killing him. That's not the only reason, but it's the reason Jin presents to Hakumen. Hakumen probably knows better. Jin's motivation for killing Ragna is rooted in childish possessiveness, insanity, extreme jealousy not helped at all by the belief that Ragna liked Saya better, and MAYBE a defense mechanism in order to cope with the fact that he is in some way ordained by fate to kill Ragna. Sounds boring. Also really? Was the fag thing really necessary? @mAc: I think Jin was mostly fighting on adrenaline and pure hatred against Nu. He totally freaks out against her. She also seems more reserved when fighting against him. I wonder if he might unnerve her tbh.
