Be aware it is possible to do a reversal DD after the BHS super freeze. Don't try this in high levels unless they have less than 50 heat. Edit: I read that first comment wrong. You can only reversal if they do Scud straight into BHS.

That's all I usually have to do with my Az when I fight green squares. Azrael can be a lot like Hakumen. He's very powerful in low tier play, but gets considerably harder to play at higher levels when your opponent knows what they're doing. PS - Nerf that backdash invinc into the ground please.
-
Yeah man, I would trade the air unblockable in a freaking heart beat if it'd quit whiffing on me.
-
5A's whiffing on crouch is fucking stupid.
-
GG's to the yellows I had to gimmick to death to get back to orange, and to GreekAngel's scary ass Bang and FRKZ combos. Quit eating that hop tsubaki man, it's not good for your health.
-
Don't play Hakumen if you hate that then. I can't tell you how many times I get grabbed by my feet. It's absolutely infuriating.
-
Here to waste your bandwidth with more proof that Hakumen is the best character in the game! The only way to beat Kokonoe is to out gimmick her! The futile rapid makes it even better. I must go. My people need me. I can make GIFs for you guys if you have replays of special moments. I just need to be able to watch the replay so I can record it.

Evil wind mix ups! Pretty tough to gauge when she's gonna suddenly lift off and slap you in the face. Not to mention the set ups she has when you're trying to get up. This seems like a match up where investing stars into Counter Assault might be a good idea.

Go to avenge Yakuzu. Get bodied by Errol too. Crap.

It's definitely a tough one. Kishuu in general is a great tool for spacing against Hazama since a lot of them will want to do either 3C or the stance low which will space out all of your A's and B's. I've been catching a lot of them upbacking with 2C after blocking out their pressure strings. Every little bit helps in this match up. You can 3C his stance low with a hard read, but if you guess wrong the overhead will give him a counter hit that usually turns to 3-4k dmg, so beware. He has very limited defense tools with out meter. You're probably gonna be dealing with things like late techs, rolls, and tricky emergency techs more than any sort of wake up reversal. Keeping him pinned down helps a lot.

The problem I have with most Jin players is that it feels like he can jump cancel everything into a sudden cross up or overhead. Keep that 2C, 6A, and TK Hotaru ready all through out.

NO MERCY FOR THE SCRUBRUMI ARMY!

I am now under the impression that the best buff Hakumen could get would be to make him pick up his feet.
-
I thought you were talking about a different one, my mistake.
-
It's supposed to be Tao I think.

If they're delay teching, you can fall onto them with j.2C. If they whiff it with a successful tech, you can land next to them and go into a grab or pressure string. A forward roll is what will really mess it up, since there isn't much you can do against that when using it. I try to save the instant overhead for people who backdash or backroll a lot.
-
You'll probably still be jumping a lot since his hop can be a bit limited and it's usually easier/safer to jump over or away from an attack, but doing something like upback into air dash over and over as your only approach can lead to very bad habits.
-
My advice would be, don't make the mistake a lot of new Hakumen players do and count on his C's too much. Getting familiar with using his all of his Normals should make you a much more well rounded Haku player. Get used to using basic pressure strings like 2Ax > 3C and 2A > 6A > 6B. Also, His movement can be funky, but this isn't a platformer and jumping all the time will lead to you getting read like a book and punished for it.

I've been binge watching Fate/Zero on Netflix this week haha. I use a lot of colors. The Orange and Black is my favorite, but I use the all white, the tanish brown, and the grey and purple a lot too. Variety is usually nice.

A lot of the people I've been playing have been surprisingly aware of things like the 5A reset and the j.B Agito instant over head set up. At the same time though, I've been having amazing success with the overhead set up.nothing like doing a 3k corner carry combo and immediately dropping another 3k on them with Tsubaki as they go "What the hell was that!?". Not my best work, but you can really see it shine in the first round Here

Do we have any hard info about the color rank system? Things like number of wins and if there's a difference between a win and a loss? Do you get more in certain modes? -
That's how most of them will be. But wait till you face a high level terumi player. You'll be tearing your hair out from the endless block strings and constant barrage of overheads and tick grabs. I probably wouldn't hate him as much if his combos weren't so boring to sit through. It's nothing but stomp stomp stomp auto pilot crap that goes on for way too long.
-
I hate people who put the toilet paper facing the wall too.
-
People who think Smash Bros. is a fighting game.
-
That's a lot more than what I get out of a failed hop tsubaki attempt. Usually I just end up standing there in front of them looking stupid and doing nothing. That was me against Ragna's 6B combos in Extend.
