  2. Woops, my mistake. I didn't read your post right. Sorry about that. As far as I know, the 5A > 5B thing is a matter of correcting the opponent's height because they usually drop lower after each loop.
  3. The 5A > 5B is usually for the start of the very last loop. For the first and 2nd loop you'll be doing 5A > J.2A > dj.2C. Props to you if you can do all three loops though. I have a hard enough time getting the 2nd one to work right.

  8. I've come to the conclusion that this game has too many moves with Invincibility frames. Should tone that shit down and make it more rare. Not make it completely abusable.
  9. True fact: Hop Tsubaki only comes out when they're going to do a wake up DP/DD to counter it.
  10. I think that makes it even worse then. If they want free money they should sell me his old voice pack with out the power ranger villain effect.
  11. They made some tweaks that seem to help it a lot. I used to be able to 3C right through it for a free void hit in extend, but it seems to be a lot safer in CP. Tsubaki has a couple of options afterwards now too. They're not really safe, but it keeps you're opponent guessing usually.
  12. The worst nerf Hakumen gets in CP was the change to his English Speaking Voice Actor. I'm still mad about that crap.
  13. I get the neutral tech when I hold 2 and Square to tech. I've never had problems with it coming out as the quick rise. If you didn't know already, you can hold an attack button ( other than drive) to auto tech.
  14. Hold 2 while you tech to charge the astral, then press 8D as Hakumen's feet hit the ground and pray that your enemy presses a button.

  16. I'm pretty tired of getting hit by bullshit attacks when I'm behind people. Gotta fix those damn hitboxes.
  17. The 3C was catching Tao and Tager. I don't have Kokonoe to test. Cool stuff.
  18. Does this work on other characters like Tager, Tao, or Kokonoe who are also notorious for cheeseball backdash shenanigans?
  19. Useful for some corner carry, but I didn't really see it add too much damage.
  20. Forget that you even have a 3C in this match up. To elaborate a little, Tao is going to spend the majority of her time in the air zipping around you driving you nuts. This makes things like 5/6A very useful tools. When under pressure, don't try to mash at all, you'll lose. Instead, a well timed 2D or 5D will help out a lot, especially since many Tao players tend to be very aggressive. A couple of these will help to condition the Tao player to give you some space to jump out instead. The name of the game is very similar to Valk or Noel, you're going to want to get that first knockdown or confirm, and pile on the pressure as much as you can from there on. Shutting down rolls and upbacks are going to be key. I can't really be too specific or technical, because most of my matches against Tao have been won from mostly mashing j.B > 5C and praying I get lucky with a hit while she's in the air near me. At least some consolation is that she goes down fast once you do catch her because of her incredibly low health.
  21. The CT version of Akumetsu is way cooler than this super fast CP one.
  22. It looked like it affected his meter gain while he was being combo'd by other characters more than while he was doing his own combos. No more teching with 7-8 stars after eating one combo I guess.
  23. Does this mean no more height dependent air grab combos?!
  24. If you're slow on the (back)rolls, you can chase them down with IAD Agito pressure as well.
  25. I've used it enough to know haha. But sometimes I swear I'm getting hit by the projectile before Haku hits the ground. Usually if I input it wrong or late he'll use the wrong Drive move, and the only time this happens is against projectiles. It just seems like a weird thing, and I was mostly curious if anyone else was having the same issue.
