  1. I was watching one match and the way it seems to work is when she creates the first little black hole in front of her, the big one appears where you were when the first one was made. I saw someone roll forward and live for about a second before getting sucked back in. If she's not putting mines or anything in your way, maybe roll forward and start hopping away?
  2. I've only done it once, but I don't remember there being a mine or anything to use. I countered the black hole with Yuki, which makes you rush out of the corner. It doesn't hit Brokonoe because she's invincible the entire time, but it gets you out. The black hole will try to suck you back in so I backdashed once or twice and let it draw me towards her until it ended and I counter hit her with 5C.
  3. Just be sure to save 4 stars for Yukikaze so you can survive the black hole.
  4. Is it DLC? Where do I download it? I'd love it if my attacks didn't lose to everything so often.
  5. Then we got different versions of Hakumen, because j.C does nothing but go under or over her whenever I try it. Give me the one with the attacks that actually hits things.
  6. Just use her jumping wrench attack. That thing magically wins against everything.
  7. I hate her. A lot. Brokonoe's hitbox is literally designed to conspire to make everything you throw at her whiff. And then her stupidly easy hitconfirms come in and give her free damage. It's pretty mind blowing how few of her moves have any sort of recovery or danger to them.
  8. You all should invest in a sub woofer. Black Hawk Stinger sounds awesome when that bass hits you.
  9. Wolf mix up too strong.
  10. You can cut her fireball DD on it's start up. The void should hit her and cancel it out. Hitting her in any way cancels out her fireballs I think.
  11. I'm enjoying most of the changes. I just wish they'd given us something a little more consistent than the carry loop. 92A92C5A92A is a pain. 10 more frames of hitstun on j.2C would make my life a whole lot easier in so many ways.
  12. Seems to be a lot easier if it's something with more than one hit. Ragna's 5D is very susceptible. Whiff the first part, yuki the second. Otherwise the timing is just incredibly strict and tight. Most attacks are ending before Hakumen's movements become active again.
  13. Yeah, just tested in training mode. Not really working. I was thinking it'd be cheap as hell if we could use the invincibility to whiff an attack, and catch the remaining active frames on it with Yukikaze.
  14. Can you use the pause from activating OD to buffer a Distortion Drive?
  15. For the air dash OD's, I usually do it right after the dash starts to move. You can't try to do it as fast as possible though, or else it tends to miss. Also, these are the moments I love best. Things people would never expect.
  16. It's been killing my spirit. It should be pretty routine by now, and I still run into situations where it doesn't come out when I need it too. Yesterday I started a match and had the guy in the corner, was gonna steal the round with a 3C CH Overdrive combo. 5C > OD > 5C, go for Zantetsu.....and nothing. The disappoint had to have been palpable. That and TK's turning into high jumps. Gotta work on that stuff.
  17. Well that's interesting. j.D can counter Zantetsu.
  18. You had that 3C out before I could even think to do Renka after you'd blocked my Zantetsu. So it wasn't as much of an issue while we were playing.
  19. Every time I've done 6C in someone's face, is Zantestu not coming out.
  20. I need to quit failing zantetsu on this controller first. Dpads and half circles never seem to work for me.
  21. Most of them are using the fireball to set up a safe teleport cross up. While you're busy blocking the gravity fireball that lasts way too long, she teleports behind you and goes all rachel on you. What makes this insanely hard to block is because the fireball/teleport are blocking the majority of your view of what she's starting to do. You can't do Yukikaze or 2D until she's started her mix ups either, because you're blocking the gap-less fireball the entire time.
  22. Hitting Ignis (Haha good luck) causes her to despawn similar to hitting Relius, but it will not interrupt Relius, so think about what you're going for if he's jumping at you with a follow up. I think part of our game plan now will involve trying to poke the doll to interrupt Relius' game plan. Typically they'll either try to upback away and respawn her, or they'll continue with out her and go for a combo to spawn her safely at the end. I've had some mild success blocking the combo attempts and getting at him as he's recovering there. In retrospect, I think it has to be done while she's doing an attack. So in other words, you have to counter hit her to despawn her.
  23. Anyone fight Kokonoe yet?
