  1. Cool, may need to test that version out, I mean everything is still there, just switched around.
  2. You should be getting more off of 4D though Miz, the standard drive combo is: Starter > d.5C > d.6C > d.2D > d.6A > 214A > 2B > 6C > BC > 6C > 22B > 22BC~66 > 6C > 236A > 66C > j.D > d.6D > d.6B > d.5D > d.5C > Bloom Trigger, ranges from 4.7k to 5k depending on what drive move you used to start the combo.
  3. Listen, you gotta read my posts a little closer. The whole POINT is to have assault through wiff, because when it does, you have frame advantage now. I've tested it in training and in numerous matches: Check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhFQ5h_fqO8&feature=channel_video_title At 8:10 you can see the assault through wiff. and it was against Makoto, so you know if it beat her out it HAD to be frame advantage.
  4. Here's one that has absolutely no risk at all: While midscreen, after a combo ending with d.5C > BT, replace the Bloom Trigger with Assault Through. If your opponent techs, they can only emergency tech, and you will be at frame advantage, your 5A will beat anything they do that isn't a DP or has invuln, if they don't tech the assault through will combo as a blue beat and do basically the same damage as the bloom trigger would have done. The only downside is you may be skipping out on corner carry, so what I usually do is use this trick while Noel is closer to the corner than her opponent, this way if your opponent lets the assault through combo then they will get shot into the corner.
  5. Use j.D > d.5C > d.6C and you have your old CR Oki setup, no need to make it's own topic, post it in the resets thread or something.
  6. It works on a good number of hitboxes, so you may want to test it out before you make it a staple.
  7. If you are close enough you can do: 5B > 2B > 6A > 6C > into a combo, if you are mid range, 5B > 2B > 6A > 5C > Air combo works. If you are at optimal spacing range though, you want those Counter Hits, but on crouching 5B > 5C > 2C > 3C works, so try that out and hit confirm for crouchers.
  8. I've used Optic Barrel to "Void" spike chaser, and even used 4D to cancel some swords. This matchup could be fun if I had enough practice with it.
  9. BE sure to mention that his D DP only needs 25 heat instead of 50.
  10. It's been awhile hasn't it Mizzet? I do think it's a combination of both, plus her drive is faster now too, making drive wiffing during combos a viable option.
  11. Note that she only has a DP with staff, but her 236B(?) works pretty well for that purpose but is certainly NOT a DP.
  12. Good work so far.
  13. Matchup Ranking: 5/5 Obviously the mirror match is going to be even, but it IS dumb. Recommended Playstyle: Patient Noel can screw herself over if she plays risky and overly aggressive, drive is a constant threat. General Strategy: Stay calm, getting punished with drive hurts big time, and even though Noel has pressure now, she still runs a heavy risk of getting D'd to death. Your Best Tools(For This Matchup): 6A - Beats 2D clean now, and is safe to use now and then during pressure strings, throwing in a 6A > 2B during stagger strings is a great way to fish for 2D counter hits. 6C - Is really good at catching 2D, and due to 100 p1 it makes your opponent think twice about reversal drive attempts. Riskier than 6A in staggers, but can be worth it in the long run. 2D - 2D is still a menace in this matchup, because it makes any low attempt extremely unsafe, use it sparingly however, now that Noel has solid tools to counter it. 4D - If you're a fan of 5A pressure, 4D will eat your family while it forces you to watch, but it's beaten by any and all lows, so you run the risk of getting 3C'd, or more commonly 2B'd. Has A DP?: No, but Drives sure as hell feel like one. Has A DP With Heat?: Fenrir kind of counts, but is dealt with much easier than a standard DP. Things To Look Out For: Due to this being a mirror match, just refer to the "Your best tools" section, and think of being on the receiving end instead of the aggressive end.
  14. That post came SO CLOSE to making me pull a Circ, but then I decided to dig deeper and realized since he was having problems with the Silencer part of the combo, it qualified as a haida problem. :3
  15. That's true for all of Noel's resets, including but not limited to the ones that you started this thread for. Also, you might want to update the OP of the thread to include the resets we list here, and list the pros and cons of using/attempting said reset.
  16. CS1 Ragna mirrors?
  17. The Japanese also say that a good Tager can beat top tier, so technically we shouldn't be bitching about anything. Nice CV by the way Jourds, Song was pretty cool.
  18. This is true, the training dummy falls for it all the time.
  19. Another way to solve the problem is to not use the second BT, just delay the Fenrir input right after you hit the last d.5C and that should do the trick too.
  20. A reset I hit someone with today: combo into fenrir > Purple airgrab(yeah I know) > 2B > IAD forward grab. If your opponent techs backward in the air after the 2B connects you can snatch them out of the air when they least expect it with the air grab. This could have a use when coupled with the purple air grab tactics R1 showed off in his video against Yomura, this could be your plan B if they decide not to tech the throw, for whatever reason. I know it's farfetched, but its and option, get off my back :v
  21. Breaking down and presenting better options from Noel's challenge mode, video by me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hNybY6GEHKI
  22. I have done the regular haida on Bang. You're slipping Hex, HOW DO I KNOW THE REST OF THE GUIDE IS LEGIT??? 8|
  23. I'm gonna allow this thread to exist for awhile, once we make a Noel CS2 guide we'll include the resets in that and get rid of this thread.
  24. Just block Jin's shit without mashing barrier, without 6D breaking a primer he's just not that scary, because his good primer taking moves cost heat.
  25. It's not the Tager, it's the Plat, she's new as fuck, so you don't entirely know what you're doing yet.
