  1. Yeah I know him, he was at shuto again, we didn't get a chance to fight, but I saw him taking on some dudes.

It's just a move name guys, There's nothing Optic or Barrel about Optic Barrel, 214A is a hurricanrana not a Muzzle Filter(and that name doesn't make sense for the move either), and there's no Raiding involved in Spring Raid. Noel isn't sending out a giant norse wolf when she uses Fenrir, and no god of thunder with a hammer comes out when she uses Thor.
  3. There's actually not any difference between SMP 22B and normal 22B. I've tested this multiple times.

  5. That's very strange, I've never had that happrn during this combo. The only time an opponent can tech out of d.2D is when they are too far away
  6. There is no timing, you just dial it in. I've never dropped that section before, how is it dropping?

Here's a good way to practice: Set your opponent to neutral tech, then do the run up 2B, if you crossed under your opponent during his neutral tech, then that means the 2B you just did would have caught his back roll too. Though just note, some characters are a bitch due to hitboxes, like Relius for example. That motherfucker just wouldn't get hit out of his back roll. Rest assured though, it definitely works on Ragna and Jin, so starting there is a good idea.
  8. 99% of the time its going to cross up if you do it right. In most cases you'll be able to tell which side you'll be on by the time you get to the j.D

  11. The window for 3C > 22C is really tight, but it's not hard. I didn't really practice it much and my success rate is about 95%
  12. 22B oki is very versatile actually, in both setup and execution, leading for numerous ways to keep our opponents guessing. Here are a few of my favorites: Corner 22MAX > 662B Will catch all rolls and no tech/late tech if done correctly, if your opponent neutral techs you have frame advantage leading to: Corner 22MAX > 662B(Whiff) At this point you can either Grab, or use j.D for a throw bait, remember that a CH j.D can lead into a Muzzle Filter combo, and deal a whole lot of damage, especially in the corner. Also since you have frame advantage you can hit a 5A to catch your opponent from mashing or jumping, a 2B will accomplish the same thing, but will hit low, and will net you a bigger reward for catching people trying to mash or jump. You can 4D most reversals in the game except for Growler and Tager's command grabs, to beat growler simply backdash and punish his recovery, and you can use either j.D, 2D or a simple jump to bait Tager's command grabs. Corner 22 > 5D > d.5A beats all rolls, and late techs, and beats some character's no teching, leading into a combo back into oki. For a mixup go into either d.6B or d.6D, to bait most DPs you can use d.4D, which will beat DPs off the ground into d.2D > d.6B > 236D > combo, or will beat grounded DPs like Jin's 623C into d.6C > 214A for huge damage, also beats most supers. For Growler simply allow the d.5A to recover and then punish, for Tager's command grabs use d.2D > d.6C > 214A for huge damage on CH. Baiting Makoto's DP is slightly difficult since it soars over d.4D, but you can beat it by whiffing d.4D and following up with a LATE d.2D > d.6C > 214A > 5B > 5C > sj.C > j.D > d.2D > d.6B > d.5C > d.6B > 236D > 6C(2) > 6B > 22 to reset back into oki. Corner 22 > 5D > d.6A this one will allow the d.6A to hit meaty, which will beat all attempts at poking out or jumping out. Corner 22B > Delay 2C This catches all rolls if done right, and also catches no techs and late techs, this one is a little harder to do than 2B version, but gets you more damage on successful punishes, so choose whichever one is more comfortable for you.

  14. I suppose you can TECHNICALLY call our double 22B combos "Haida Loops" or by extention combos that involve both 22B and 22C. Though it's pushing it: Corner d.6B > d.5C > d.6D > 236D > 5B > 5C > sj.C > j.D > d.5C > d.6A > d.5C > 22B > 2B > 6C(2) > 6B > 22 is one example or: Corner Fatal 4D > 214D > 2C > 5C > sj.C > j.D > d.4D > d.2D > d.6B > 236D > 6C > 6B > 22C > 6C(2) > 6B > 22 those are really as close as we can get. Though that does give me an idea for combo video stuff :333

  18. WAITTTT LITH that gives me an idea which I've never tried. we can cancel into normal specials from drive as long as they are hit or blocked. there's a good chance George counts!
  19. yeah, since you can jump cancel the 5B that's always a much better option, 2C is also good since it doesn't really have any recovery, just in case you don't wanna put yourself in the air against an approaching Rachel, which can be scary.
  20. using 3C to kill him WILL make you lose all momentum. If you're not getting punished for it, you must be fighting the wrong Rachels. All it takes is a quick 66D > 5B and Noel gets hit hard. Even if you're a full screen away, Rachel can still wind in and start pressure. Which was the exact thing you're trying to avoid by killing George.
  21. Most of your points are correct, but dude, never 3C just to kill George, that shit will get you murdered at worst, and put in a blockstring at best. Your best bet against George is a quick 2A > 2A, or 2B > 2B, a single 2C will also do the job. All of these options have far less risk than throwing out a 3C that was never intended to hit Rachel.

  24. Grendy and Jay posting? Man, it's like it's 2010 again. Yeah Jay, I was at Shutocon last year, and yes I bullied several people. I actually felt bad for taking that tourney as free as I did, but it got me Fire Emblem Awakening, which immediately makes it the best tourney win ever. Who was he anyway? Will he be there this year? Maybe he leveled up, I'll give him a shot at revenge.
