Arksys: Okay, so how about we nerf everything, except Hotenjin, which is the thing that should be nerfed. I don't understand the change with jcing j.c. If they wanted Hazama to have lower heat gain, then why didn't they just lower the heat they give rather than fucking around with the combo?

Venom Sword is a good option on a blocked 3C as well. I have a question, why is Hazama 6.5-3.5 Mu according to zidane? I could buy 5.5. But what makes it one of his best matchups? Sure, her mixup is bad, but Hazama's is pretty bad too.

Rachel is like Death Note's plot. Powerful, but then people start to hate her, so she makes herself weak for a while to lower the hate towards her, until the patch, in which she becomes powerful again and reclaims top tier. Just as planned. And then she kills Hakumen, but then Jin takes Hakumen's place and finds out the truth, then Rachel goes insane and Noel shoots her... Wait, wtf am I talking about? -

Well duh, they could make Arakune in CT form. It doesn't mean anything. I just said that if this locktest is final, he will definatly be low tier. Hell, I kinda wish this was final. If anything, they'll nerf Ara even more in the later locktests. But no more complaining, sorry, I just wanted to call it. -

His nerfs aren't bad compared to the rest of the cast? What? Also, stop calling them 10k loops. 10k assumes you hit them with 2C/5DCH/j.5C at the very beginning of the curse. Even if you jump back while blocking Arakune will have to spend half of the curse time just locking you down. 6-9k loops are much more closer to the truth. -

Personally, I wish they would just speed up the process of nerfing everybody and just make it so that the only move anyone can do is 5A and it only does 1 damage. -

Edit: Well, since all the first locktest changes apply; Arakune has; •overall damage decreased •guarded drive moves give less curse meter •D bug faster, less hitstun. (The wiki says less damage, the blog says less hitstun. Could be either, could be both. Dunnolol.) •Spin and dive now have same move proration added. •Landing recovery after airthrow. •Jump cancel from bird (j6B?) slowed, can't bird -> bird -> spin anymore. •Warps (If P then Q, not dash/backdash) are a lot slower, you can hit him out of them on reaction. For god's sake, Arakune's only mid tier. Arakune for worst character in the game if these changes apply. Oh well, if these happen I could just make Hazama my main... Oh, right. Well I could make Tsuba... Umm.... -

Awesome. So the 2c and j.5C starters will be easier, compensating for the reduced damage, and it will encourage less bug spamming and force noobs to learn the loop. -

Is the d bug damage nerf based from his damage now or his reduced damage from the first locktest? The falling faster stuff is awesome. It should make the timing on the 2c and j.5C starters a lot less strict. -

j.236a is useless. It's only used in that combo as +160 damage filler.

Oh for god's sake arcs. No 214 after Tsubaki's throw? Is 2.1k really so cheap? And CH state during charge? What, the fact she needs to actually charge and it having a long add recovery time wasn't good enough. Tests are for putting ideas into practise. You then do another test to try and improve the results. You don't take a massive piss all over it. -
I'm having a really infuriating problem. Whenever I do an action in the air and block during my decent, when I touch the ground, there's a second where it just will not block. And I keep getting punished by fast characters. Any solution to this? It's really annoying

I disagree strongly. Arakune's pressure may be bad, but j.b is damn good and curse moves still curse on block. Arakune's true weakness is defense. I think any character, including Hazama, should be very aggressive against Arakune. If you stay passive and defensive against any good Arakune, especially ones better than myself, then you will likely lose. Makoto has fantastic speed, ultilise it. Keep attacking Arakune. Hell, when we had our matches Seyu, you did a lot better once you started being relentless. 3C does go under Comet Cannon, but it has to be spaced properly. Also, it's only Counter Hit, and you need 50% heat to make it into a 100% Curse Combo. Unless you're talking about 2C, which is Fatal Counter in 100% Curse, but it doesn't go under Comet Cannon.

Lol at this thread. I think we should ban Arakune's Green Skin in the Area 28 stage. Camo is cheap. Also, hard ban on items. Tager's Final Smash is totally overpowered. Edit: I love dustloop. You don't get this kind of thing on GameFaqs.
