imm, im guessing it would lose to AC and 5a. personally if i hit a jin doing that with 5a id 5a > AC (i think that works) and you would end up in gadget setup again minus some health.
-
i didnt mean tager had horrible damage, i said he has horrible combo proration, meaning as his combos go on they damage done by each hit quickly approaches zero.
-
haha, man nice moves! flinger burst loop... love it!

ive beaten out 6b many times with 360s... bro. and i did come across a bit too forceful there, was just trying to point out that 6b isnt always an auto win against 360. but yea, zone the hell outa us, basic strat for anyone v tager and jin can pull it off fine.
-
Truthfully, you can just sit along for the ride or a while, tager's combo proration is so horrible his combo do squat for damage if they go on for more than 5 hits! the downside is you will be giving him meter but you might find yourself in an advantages place to tech after a while (but will most likely end up in gadget finger, and its up to you if you want to be there or not... as a tager player i love it when tagers GF me, but only bad tagers GF tager) all in all though, tagers combos do crap damage, and if you can see the tager atomic colliding maybe... ice car? c should get you far enough away/last long enough to get you free if you dont outright hit tager. (really thats just a guess, id have to play around with my jin friend to see if it actually works)

dangerous move, 360b grabs(frame 6) before 6b gets airborn(frame 9), also if you start it early and tager 360a's you will more than likely hit his invuln. @remiri: works some times, but if he grabs you before the ice reaches him tager more than likely will not eat a freeze.

i could be wrong, but i was under the impression that you can hit her out of the asteroid vision move, before any follow up to it for FC with 2c (excluding the 214a > d followup, im pretty sure that one makes you wiff the 2c.) or, if they are doing a button asteroid vision, i think you can 360a all the them. again, im not positive so please correct me if im wrong! id sit down and check it but im at work right now so....

well, neither does alex's hyper bomb, its only a 360... but Ganon's Side-B a power bomb/suplex/other form of body throw for massive damage?

if you are trying to nab a jumping opponent after GF dont hold it down. AC will catch them even if they are just barely off the ground so just tap it out there and if they are in the air in front of you, you get em. otherwise you get to have fun with physics, which in unfortunately a science even greater than the science of magnets (but it can be quite hilarious... have you ever tried to AC a mag'd jin ice carring away from you? after the ice car ends he shoots at you a billion miles an hour...)

umm, yea the only overhead she has that i know if is pretty slow and you should be able to react to it, and if she is trying to asteroid vision you she shouldnt get that far. 2C fatal counters every use of asteroid vision but 214a with a d follow up, and 360a beats that one. so, if a makoto trys that garbage on you beat the hell out of her and turn her into a hat. if you dont feel comfortable using 360a on her slide move (im assuming you are talking about 3c here, the one where she kinda spins around on the ground) 2b is (this is all written above) about not knowing when it IB her attacks, well, its something to learn, you cant expect to know someones combos when you havent really played against them before can you? but against makoto... you can IB pretty much anything...

id say it depends on the character you are playing, and the combo you are doing. the best example is if you are playing a zoner (kune/lambda/etc) and your normal combo would knock them far away, id go for something that leaves you closer to them to keep up the pressure. other than that, id say go for the dmg. i think we've all had those matches where we should have won them but lost with the opponent having like 100hp. every hit of guaranteed damage counts! i would throw it in every once in a while to mix things up but i wouldnt rely on it (especially if your opponent has a good reversal!)

Id say halo.... the biggest problem with the new wave of fighting game players is they never played the "hard" games. now im not saying blazblue is easy, but it is way more friendly than guiltygear. just life SFIV is way more friendly than SFII or SFIII. because someone can walk in and do OK not really knowing what they are doing makes it so they dont take the time to really learn the game, and because they do okay makes them think they know something about it. back when i first started playing fighting games (on SF3) i got my ass whooped over and over and over again before i learned how to actually play the game, but that ass whoopin' forced me to either go home or step up. unfortunately that middle ground has emerged and people who in the past would choose 'go home' now have a purgatory to stick around in and pull the rest of us down. very reminiscent of the changes in the player base in final fantasy xi, they made the game friendlier and easier and a bunch or really crappy players showed up (it didnt help that they put it on XBL either...) my 2 cents

full ride or regular hyper bomb? the full ride was so satisfying.... i mean, how many suplexes in a row do you need? answer: 7
-
heh..... yeeaaaa... im claiming that one as my retard moment for the day.... we're all allowed one right?
-
hmmm, could have sworn that there was an invuln move... oh well... in a similar vein, how does 6a do against CR? does it count CR as a projectile and beat it or is it an overall bad idea?
-
ummm, jesus i dont play noel so i dont know the command for them... but its the one where she does a kick instead of using her guns. also there is one that gives her invulnerability, that can punish sledge.

the only thing ive found you can do off an AC techable finish is hope they are dumb and dont neutral air tech when magnetized, you can grab them with another AC... but if you try and they do neutral tech then you eat a fat CH combo... (when it does work it makes me smile though... so i end up trying for it way more than i should....)
