Looks like gad leith provides easy relaunches both midscreen and corner. Also, seems like his CT can be used like we used to use 236c RC to unsummon Ignis and get her meter back.

  5. Once that guy learns some better hit confirms/bnbs he'll probably be really good. He's definitely the most drive happy Amane so far. A bit too aggressive with the meaties against Haku though lol.
  6. Not sure if this has been answered at all, but is there SMP on CTs? Seems like CT>normal>CT>repeat would be a good combo ender if they all have decent minimum damage.
  7. Thank god. Last thing we need is CS1 style perma 50% heat. I like this combo system then (though SMP still seems fairly arbitrary). You get rewarded for good starters in multiple ways, fitting big damage moves early is still good, and we hopefully won't see things like smp loops/EX litchi/EX noel as far as length goes regardless of how creative people get with combos. Will be interesting to see the maximum limits with Fatal counters + OD + CTs. WTB Lush combo video!
  8. Looks like stance canceling is key to combing off of 6c. Also makes me wonder if you can let 6c hit twice in order to side switch them back into the corner. And holy shit level 3 drill normals do tons of damage. Good to know there is a reason they want to block/barrier lol.
  9. I believe in the same place it was mentioned that the story mode would be more intertwined it was also mentioned that the length would be similar to the past story modes. So a super long multi-pov story mode could be a possibility. Personally I just want Kokonoe to use both magic and science since I feel like her breaking her taboo on using magic would be an important character development. It also seems like she is ready to stop this shit at any cost (hence nukes) and so isn't going to get caught up in whatever made her decide not to use magic anymore in the first place. Also interesting is how Hakumen doesn't seem to know Takamagahara is stuck dividing by 0 and thus probably can't reset things if Relius 'creates destruction'. At least I think that is what happened at the end of CS.
  10. I suppose at least weak points don't really increase his mixups. That was a big thing about curse being silly, besides 100% combos anyway lol.
  11. Even CTs in combos will likely be good meter use. They seem to have 100 p2 and good minimum damage all around. Plus, the long knockdown time could allow more complex drill oki. They also seem good for higher damage midscreen hit confirms but I haven't seen much midscreen CT combo exploration outside of Haku.
  12. If you mean the 'drill through' super I think you can combo after it if done in OD. I remember it launching the opponent much higher than normal in some video and it looked liek you could catch them with Cs after.
  13. That command hop into j.2b (I think) is every bit as dirty as I thought it'd be. Loved those combos tossing the opponents all over. Damn I hope this character ends up decent cause he has me pretty excited to play him.
  14. Actually, now that you've mentioned Danger state, did they take away the damage bonus you get for hitting people in Danger? I've seen a few people go into it (a good sign btw) but I don't remember thinking they were taking abnormal amounts of damage while in it. I may have missed this change during the other games since Danger wans't common outside of Kune lol.
  15. Wow, Izayoi in switch mode looks stylish as hell. Also seems pretty tricky with the side switching and I-no dash. Hopefully her normal mode is decent and so it's more about playstyles rather than needing drive to be a good character ala CS1 Tsubaki. has anyone figured out what Tager's OD does yet btw? I thought it was supposed to pull them to him or magnetize them but every time I see somebody use it it does like nothing.

  17. Hey Bedsheets, thanks for the first hand info since Amane seems to be a bit rare atm. Does Amane have any 'get off me' moves for when he is being pressured or is it just going to be hope you have 50 heat for counter attack? I was watching one on stream just get torn up by a Bullet because she just stayed on him in the corner all match. I guess his ground drill super might actually be good for that also if you can deal with the overheat (or if it is just a high drill gain then it might even be really good for reversaling). Other question is what do you think of his Crush Trigger?
  18. I'd be willing to bet this particular nico stream will be on nico later since it seems like a tourney. O h ya for sure. I actually mean that in a positive light that it doesn't seem like characters are really weak.   19. So far I think every character has shown strength expect maybe Tsubaki/Noel/Amane. I know Amane has nice chip but nobody has really done anything else with him as far as combos or setups that start the chip damage.
  20. Probably still have a Nu ball from CT. Also I'm really glad to see both CT and OD having uses inside and outside of combos. Always a shame when the only use something has in during combos. Even though I dislike that you can't burst when hit during somebody's OD. That makes it feel more like xfactor than I like.
  21. That white Tager is doing work. Slick corner combos and that double air 360 trap was awesome.

  25. Man, Tager's OD looks pretty bad in that match vs Matoi. Didn't seem to pull at all.
