Meh, some characters have hard to balance gameplay designs. Just look at Valk/Arakune/Tao.

I imagine chains in general have a large base heat value since so the first few gained a ton of heat. You can see it drop almost immediately to like 1 heat gain after a few of them. EDIT: Actually looks like it only drops to 1 after the second kick. Hmm, each one gives ~10 heat before that. Ah well, full neutral OD + 150 heat for 10k. Not gonna worry too much about it since most characters seem to be getting 8k+ off those types of conditions.

Like 5k with lvl3 drill. Maybe 3.1k off something like a 5c starter. Don't think we've seen much CT use during combos either.

Well that would explain it lol. Kinda sad about that but whatever. Now I wonder if gad leith will connect on grounded opponents and if so after which moves. We've only really seen it used to juggle and normally only after a 6c so far.

Pretty sure the weakpoint only gives them the homing effect.

Looking like Shadow is sticking with Amane or Azrael rather than Relius atm. We get enough RYO footage though that I'm not too sad about that. 6a was honestly never that big a deal to me, usually got more hits with the generic low airdash or empty jump mixup along with frame trapping into CH 6d.

It definitely looks like it depletes faster if you hold it. No barrier also means you have to IB a ton of shit in the air so there's that if you get into danger state.

So just saw on stream a Tager do combo>collider>6c>GF whiff>5b>finish combo and it was all legit. Was on ragna but not sure how char specific it is. Was with magnetism on previous to combo.

Not sure about the IAD combo. You should never need to do that though. I'm pretty sure combo>236h-d>2366h>etc should work just about everywhere that a regular 236h after FB rin won't.

Wouldn't worry about tiers too much. People are also saying Makoto is consistently low on the lists and yet others are saying she looks really scary. Plus you can do well with low tiers anyway, especially in US.

Lot of new RYO (top ranked Relius) in the OgreLive vids jourdal put up. Maybe I'm forgetting, but 6c didn't used to launch on ground hit right? Cause it does in CP it seems. I also see nobody using the 6b>6c combo route which I always felt was one of his best options.

They seem to have nerfed a lot of characters' FC moves by changing them to things that are much less likely to connect.
