  2. 6a > 5a > j.A > j.B > dj.2A > j.C is another meterless 5d combo option. 2062 damage.
  3. hahaha yeah I wasn't trying to say anything with the midscreen damage thing other than dustloopers are tier whores and uh... well, i wish they stuck to their guns more with "let's move damage to the corner" instead of having tons of exceptions. that's bad. but whatev, haku's new combos are swag so that's good enough for me
  4. this is not at all surprising when the best characters all have blatantly superior midscreen damage. whoops. Yukikaze actually used to superflash when you used it. Now it only does it when you successfully parry. So yeah, the rumble is new.

  6. It looked like she was able to pass through if you started too close. I didn't test it too much, but I did get at four 6Ds off before messing it up. It definitely isn't exactly the same as the classic "6D 6D 6D 6D" video on youtube.
  7. Thought about what the logical problem with my stick was, and it's something that makes me realize I probably shouldn't try and sell it. Don't want to sell someone some half-broken thing. @Rave: that's okay noone else knows how to play right now either
  8. Hmm.. I always thought low TKs were too low for just airdashing. I'll have to mess with that once I get the timing down better. I haven't perfected this combo yet, but I tend to have more luck with it when I don't try to 2147 the Hotaru. Doing it as high off the ground as possible without them teching is how I understand it has to be done, so I just input the super jump separate and then the hotaru. Maybe try that if it's giving you trouble? But yeah, they're tight links.
  9. Frame data is your friend. (And yeah, I think of j.2a as a "c move" for all intensive purposes. It was C in CT, after all.) Has anyone messed with the Gurren IAD combos from that one video? I'm noticing the timing on it is pretty tight, but I'm wondering if some of them might be character specific. The one I've been messing with was 3c CH > 2b > Gurren > IAD > j.A > j.B > 2c > j.2A > 66 j.2a > j.C. I can tell you have to delay the j.A so that you hit the j.B as low to the ground as possible or else 2c won't link, and this also seems like you have to IAD as soon as you're able. I'm having a lottt of trouble getting the j.A to come as late as possible on Jin. Usually I get to the 2c and I can't get it to not whiff cause my timing/spacing wasn't good enough. It feels significantly easier on Ragna.

  14. Actually, funnier than it giving lots of stars, it does lots of unprorated, unburstable damage. ...
  15. TK hotaru and hop hotaru you have to land first and then IAD. On FC you can combo out of it with j2c, but you can only do j.C if it's not a counterhit. If you did it way up in the air you can just air dash before you land, but you'll have to look at the spacing closely to make sure you can j2c if it was FC. Jump cancelling hotaru I believe is only for corner combos (or if they blocked it.) Pretty much everyone should be actively thinking about when their opponent might burst, not just Hakus. And yeah, you get the star for the catch(grab,) not for the parry itself.

  19. j.2a has 5 more frames of untech time, which likely makes it feel 'easier' (assuming you mean the corner BnB). There's new, much longer and higher damage stuff based around this change that's more sensitive.

  21. I'm having issues with some of haku's more execution heavy stuff cause of my stick. On that note, would anyone have any interest in purchasing a HRAP 3 with sanwa parts in it? I'm thinking about buying a TE. (I still have all the old spare parts + my pinku seimitsus ..)

  23. I did some testing with Haku's j.B after seeing Spark's note about it being an instant overhead vs. Bang. It works on Ragna, Taokaka, Tager, Hakumen, Bang, and Carl. If you catch them blocking high with 5b, going into instant j.B will be fuzzy. Hit confirming this into Tsubaki can go into 4.5k near corner. IB ruins the fuzzy setup though, so it's probably situational at best.
  24. it wasn't RCable at the time of my posting that. :p After being more acquainted with CS2 now, yes, I realize it isn't nearly as gimmicky as I first believed.
