us ps3 did not get cs2 today frowwwnnnn cookie he is pretty empowering if you can actually handle curse mode, I just didn't get around to learning anything that wasn't curse :p so i coudln't do anything cause no pre-curse game

yess. did not talk a whole lot cause i'm shyish (also very hard to hear at UCC) We have no Haz mains! I have some experience playing with them online (my old main was tager so people see tager as my top psr and counterpick me i think), but most of us here don't have a lot of haz experience. We had a guy who played hazama but I think he preferred other games to BB and his schedule stopped him from being able to attend. There was some other hazama player who came to one meetup and then mysteriously disappeared. And yeah, after playing woof a lot in casuals, would definitely like to see more of him if he's available! The meetups are fantastic. Mightfo is a massive hype engine. Fun times for all. i am going to make such a giant fool of myself on friday if ps3 doesn't get cs2 tomorrow brings my cs1 haku to the table

That's just a matter of knowing what combos you can do off what normals, distance and spacing considered. Many combos can be done from a number of different starters, but it depends on character. For starting off, it's best to know some basic, short combos that are easy to pull off but do decent damage. Usually most people's game plan starting off is to figure out how to get damage out of what combos they know and then try to fish for openings that will lead into that combo. When you are at higher levels of play, this evolves into "I know what kind of combo I can do off of any possible situation." It's pretty much baby steps. I would advise picking a character to focus on and then ask in the general threads of the appropriate character for advice on how to play that specific character. Make sure to thumb through the any stickied information that might be relevant.

Eating overheads is simply not knowing what is in your opponent's arsenal. You can either find someone who plays x character that gives you trouble in particular and play them a lot while paying careful attention to what their overheads look like and when they are able to use it (what normals does it gatling out of?), or you can actually try to learn to play the character yourself. This one takes longer/more work but tends to teach you a LOT more about the character and not just what overheads they have. What character do you play?
