  1. What time are you guys all jumping on? Hopefully I'll still be awake to watch.
  2. Don't blame the users. It's a stickied thread with a clear title; how are they meant to find it on their own?
  3. 7/15/2012 Central Hiriji at Sakuragaoka 568 (Yosuke) vs. Yoshi (Aigis) Anpan (Yukiko) vs. Yoshi (Aigis) Ishie (Aigis) vs. STD (Chie) Myuu (Chie) vs. Yoshi (Aigis) Ishie (Aigis) vs. Yoshi (Aigis) Rock (Akihiko) vs. Yoshi (Aigis) Central Hiriji at Sakuragaoka Intrasquad Akihiko vs. Ishie (Aigis) STD (Chie) vs. Yoshi (Aigis) Ueke (Mitsuru) vs. Yoshi (Aigis)
  4. Don't forget to make a spectator slot for me.
  5. Yep. Whether it's online or off, I'll be uploading US/EU matches too.
  6. Yeah, if you look at the frame data you'll notice that 5C has a P2 of 98 while Legacy Edge has a P2 of 75(once). The (once) thing is what's key here since it means that after the second hit of Legacy Edge, none of the subsequent hits will have any proration on them; they'll each do just as much damage as the last sword and won't affect the untechable time of the combo either. This isn't the case with 5C which of course you know does less damage after each hit and can make a big difference on whether a combo will work or not.
  7. You can do [CH]5D > Legacy Edge after that, but Legacy Edge raw isn't fast enough to catch them before they recover from their burst.
  8. 7/14 Sasebo Amipara Tournament Samidi (Aigis) vs. Ron (Akihiko) A-cho Matches Aigis vs. Yu
  9. Oh wow. I woke up to a lot of awesome stuff today. That double Gravity combo was too much. I see where you're coming from with this, but the P2 of Legacy Edge is 75 once so I would imagine you'd want to get more hits in rather than less (but it seems like you already figured that out from your last post~) Sweet. I look forward to watching that.
  10. Doesn't work. They're way too high in the air for 5C to connect. Also, 2B > 2C > j.C > j.2C > 2DD > Aerial D is a much easier combo that does about the same damage and heat. 2578/32
  11. It does 2,592 and builds 31 heat. The easy version (2B > 2C > Aerial D ender) does 2,159 and builds 20 heat.
  12. No, it's not quite that bad. If I had to relate it to BB, I would say she becomes a nailless Bang with bullets but in reverse; instead of losing an option for getting in, Aigis loses a way to keep her opponent out. She's still very strong without bullets thanks to Orgia mode, but if you ever run out you'll have a hard time keeping your opponent at bay while you recharge your meter. You'll also lose certain combo paths (5AA, for example), but this can also be corrected by using Orgia mode. That said, if you've run out of bullets before the end of a match, you're probably playing her wrong anyway lol.
  13. I'm gonna be getting it on both too. PS3 first, then the exclusive super limited edition that's bound to come with the EU version at some point.
  14. There are just too many things wrong with this for me to even make a statement about it. I still haven't decided on my sub yet. I like Chie, Elizabeth, Naoto and Labrys as characters, but I'm gonna wait 'til I actually have the game before I decide. You don't have to tell me twice~
  15. You should also note that you can use this mindset to your advantage; if your opponent is expecting you to go low after the fake out, they'll block low and you can hit them with the second overhead. The important thing to note here is that Lambda's 50/50 relies heavily on conditioning and observing opponent habits; no point going for a Cresent cancel into a low when you know your opponent is just holding downback for example. This is assuming your opponent neutral techs. If they roll your 2B should catch them, so be prepared to follow up with a 2C > combo. Also, Sphinx, if you need more space for character specific stuff, I'll edit my first post for that instead (although it doesn't look like we'll need to).
  16. This. I'll probably get more serious with BB again once the next iteration is out, but right now it's all about dat Aigis.
  17. That information is false. Orgia mode doesn't have any effect on how many bullets Aigis uses.
  18. You're right about 2B and 5AA, but Blast Gatling and Vulcan Gun consume a different amount of bullets depending on the version use. You can also mash the button you used for the special to fire even more bullets, but I don't have any numbers for that yet.

  22. Have an Aigis related query? Find the answer here. FAQ Q. How do I get Sweep > Boost j.B to connect? A. Try holding forward as you do the boost j.B and see if that helps. Effectively you'll be doing this: Sweep > [6]B > j.C > etc. Q. Is there a penalty for using Escape Change while Aigis is overheated? A. No. The only noticeable difference between Aigis' R-Action when overheated is that you cannot go back into Orgia Mode when you use it. Q. How do you perform Aigis' cross-ups? A. Aigis can use an Air Turn in conjunction with one of her air normals to cross her opponents up. This is usually done off an instant air dash or after D Megido oki and is particularly useful with either j.B or j.C. Q. What are Aigis' air-unblockable moves? A. Aigis doesn't have any of those besides 2B when she has run out of bullets. Q. I can't get Radical Cannon to connect after an SB Megido. What am I doing wrong? A. It's all in the timing. Make sure you hit Radical Cannon around about the time the last two hits of SB Megido connect. You can also try doing SB Megido > [land] > 5A (whiff) > Radical Cannon to help with the timing. Q. I'm having a lot of trouble getting down the j.2B relaunch combos? How do I do it and is it really worth it? A. Firstly, knowing the j.2B relaunch is useful but don't feel too disheartened if you can't do it. You probably won't use it very often, but it can be handy despite how situational it is. To get the combo to work you'll need to delay the j.B > j.2B so that you're below your opponent when the j.2B connects. By doing this, you can land and hit 5A to relaunch your opponent. It's very height and spacing specific though, so you'll just have to keep practicing it until your comfortable with it. Here's a visual aid to help.
