  1. It really is just down to doing the boost j.B as soon as possible. Even at point blank Sweep > Boost j.B shouldn't whiff unless you don't do it fast enough. Try holding forward as you do the boost j.B and see if that helps. Effectively you'll be doing this: Sweep > [6]B > j.C > etc. And, like sa5an said, your combo path works as well, but you'll want to end in D Megido instead of going for the SB relaunch.
  2. You are. Join us~
  3. Looks like this.
  4. I think there's a gap between j.C > sweep and possibly between Sweep > j.B. Aigis' sweep isn't that fast. I've added a pastebin link to the description with all the notations. You don't need to sign up; you can edit it without an account. Thanks in advance for your help.

  6. Start-up. Goddess Shield C is faster than the D version.
  7. The Escape Change doesn't deactivate Orgia Mode if you cancel it fast enough.
  8. It's a height thing. Assuming you're talking about the 5AA > 22B > j.C(1) > j.236D combo, you'll hit the ground before the second hit can come out.
  9. Doing a forward jump into an Airturn C Megido actually propels you really far forward and due to it's hitbox most characters will have to block it. It's also safe on block so it's not too bad to throw out from time to time. It's really a height thing more than anything. Eventually you'll just know what it'll connect with enough practice. Try doing this in the corner so you can get a feel for the height you need to be at to connect 5A after j.2B: 5AA > 5B > 8A > 9A > j.B > j.2B > 5A > 5B > j.B > j.2B. So that's jump straight up j.A then jump towards your opponent j.A. Midscreen try this: IAD j.C(2) > sj.A > j.B > j.2B > 5AA > 22B > j.C > j.236D Delay the j.B by a fair amount of time and you should be able to get it.
  10. I just made a thread for this. Go ahead and post anything useful you find.
  11. This thread is for the upkeep of the Aigis wiki. As you may or may not know the wiki is open for public registration now, so if you would like to add some information you feel might be useful please go ahead. If you do add to the wiki, please live a note here that you've done so. Please keep all discussion to do with the wiki here and stay on topic please.
  12. Athena's counters can be somewhat useful as a deterrent for fullscreen attacks while you try and recharge Orgia meter, but it's an awful reversal. 2C is hella slow so it's only real use is as a punish, but even then it can only be followed up in the corner so it's not that great.
  13. I'm going to assume you mean Vulcan Cannon (j.236A/B) here and say not a lot. If you can't super cancel it then you just have to land. 2B, 2D and 5D. Be careful with how you use 2B though since your opponent can use an Evasive Action to get past the bullets and punish the long recovery on that move if you get predictable.
  14. Yeah, Athena's counter only activates when her shield is struck. If Aigis is hit she disappears even if the shield is hit as well. 5A, 2A, 5B and 2B are all pretty useful. Moreso in Orgia Mode where you can boost cancel them for mix-up.
  15. As in 22AB? Apart from a couple of hitconfirms for some combos, I haven't found much use for it. Doesn't seem to be worth spending the SP on, in my opinion.
  16. Not really. The problem with 214C/D is that it has a really slow start-up which makes it easily punished. Fast characters like Yosuke can run up to you and hit you on reaction and characters with fast, long-range projectiles like Naoto and Elizabeth can hit you from full screen which makes the missiles disappear too. Basically, if you want to catch your opponent in a blockstring, you're gonna have to pick your spots and fly in since there's no way to make your approaches 100% safe.
  17. Have fun. Aigis is quite difficult to get a hang of at first, but she's very rewarding once you figure your stuff out. Yeah, Aigis' bullets are mainly for keepaway (mostly in the form of 2B), but she also needs them for combos. As for making approaches safe, she can use 2B to cover herself or even 5D to try and limit her opponents options, but you'll mostly be using her high mobility in Orgia Mode to rush your opponent down since you can get in so quickly with it. She kinda does, but Aigis plays incredibly different from Lambda. While they both have a strong mix-up game, Aigis is a lot more rush-down orientated than Lambda is and she doesn't have anywhere near as good keepaway skills as Lambda does. You should only really play defensively when you're out of Orgia meter and keep pressure on your opponent when you do.
  18. Orgia Mode transforms Aigis into a high mobility character with very potent rushdown potential. Once in Orgia mode, the Orgia gauge slowly decreases, and once empty, Orgia mode is temporarily disabled. Performing Orgia mode-specific attacks (such as air dashes, and Megido Fire EX) consumes a portion of the Orgia gauge.
  19. No clue. I'll text you or something. New Noel does look hype as shit and I'll definitely play her, but still... I just hope tuka is right about the return of v-13.
  20. One day you'll get off your lazy ass and get a job and you'll be able to appreciate how tiring it can be. :< That said, I think I have to go to my cousin's today anyway, so I'mma be even later. Also, Murakumos where?
  21. Where were the Murakumos? D:
  22. Apparently he has a move that looks like Testament's Gravedigger though at the very least. Happy to hear Noel is finally getting redesigned. Now to patiently await some Kappa-10 details. Edit: I'm buying this game...
  23. Yeah, will do. I actually noticed that after I finished recording the last combo which just made me upset more than anything.
